Apr 23, 2025Overall great experience! Resort is beautiful, unbeatable location.
We had an awesome time at Breathless Cabo! While there were some negatives, we would stay here again. I heard that sentiment echoed by all the other guests. I broke this down into a pro/con list: Pros: -The resort is gorgeous, and it’s in an unbeatable location. We were able to walk to restaurants and nightlife, with gorgeous ocean and marina views. You are 10 steps from the beach at all times. Especially during the week, the beach was not crowded. No taxis necessary to get anywhere! -The rooms were really nice; the hotel’s photos don’t do them justice. We were in a double bed marina-view room. They were big, with excellent lighting, and not super loud. It’s a rainfall shower, if you like that. The barking of sea lions on the marina did add to the ambiance, but we loved it. -All of the staff were excellent, incredibly friendly and kind. We had no negative experiences whatsoever. Everyone was accommodating and we had lots of great conversations. Extra shoutouts to Uliyses, the bartenders at the Wink, and the servers at the “party pool”. -Both pools are very pretty Infinity pools and I think the “party pool” was heated. The DJ played great music, and we LOVED the live saxophonist. Stand out moment of the trip. -Great drink menus, even if some drinks were weak. The passionfruit margarita at Oxocte (shoutout to that bartender, she rocks!) was a standout. -There’s an app for the hotel you can use to order room service, concierge services, cleaning, etc. We found it really fast and convenient. Cons: -The pools close really early in the day, so we didn’t get to spend as much time in them as we wanted to. It would’ve been really nice for them to be open a little past sunset. Disappointing for sure. -The vegetarian food was unfortunately not good. Everything was bland, and some things were inedible. We couldn’t finish our meal at the Mediterranean restaurant “Kibbeh” and the room service vegetarian burger was terrible. My friend eats meat and said most of those meals were mediocre as well. By far, the best meals we had were breakfast at Bites (the a la carte restaurant). For an all-inclusive, I wasn’t expecting amazing cuisine, but we were definitely disappointed. For how much we paid, we didn’t really want to have to go off property to eat. -This resort provides guests with bottled water. At other hotels we’ve stayed at, instead of bottled water, they’ve had large sealed carafes of filtered water for guests. This is much more sustainable as it creates significantly less plastic waste. The water bottles provided to us were pretty small, so we had to go through a lot of them. I wish there was a more sustainable option for us.

Great experience!!!! Karaoke night was our favorite. Edri, Chris, JC, Steph, Mica, Jessi, Nely and Valdi know how to get a party started. The drinks were flowing and the vibes were going. If you get the opportunity to do this, absolutely do it.

LOVED this hotel and staff.
This hotel is in a perfect location. just based on location is a 10/10! right in the Marina. you can walk everywhere. My experience in this hotel was great. the rooms are clean and spacious. very modern. the view to the marina from our room was EVERYTHING. THE RESTAURANTS ARE EXCELENT. IVAN at BITES RESTAURANT MADE MY VACATION AND BIRTHDAY WEEKEND EXEPTIONAL. we had breakfast every morning here. He went above and beyond for us. he ran to other bars/rest. to get whatever we asked. he got me a cake with candles WOW! IVAN is truly a very kind and happy server and very professional. oh! and he is hilarious too. The hotel has 2 buildings (not connected but close to each other): one is where the loud music and party people are & one where the peace and quiet ppl are lol. Overall, everyone is kind and professional but nobody like IVAN. Thank you. Me and my husband had a great time!!!

It's truly Breathless
Just got back there. My wife and I stayed there during Easter weekend (wished we could've stayed a bit longer). Stayed at room 1134. It's probably one of the best all-inclusive places in Cabo. We've stayed at numerous places in Cabo. The staff was attentive, professional, and friendly everywhere, especially service at Fish Net. I forgot to ask for the name of the staff member, but he was referred to as "Nacho." His service was beyond expectation. Food was amazing everywhere, even the coffee at Nook was excellent. My only complaint that I have was the noise level from our room at night. Service/delivery trucks were creating too much noise. I will come back here, but I'll stay away from this room.
