Jan 31, 2025Beauty and fun at the Allegro Cozumel
Angel and his crew put on a wonderful special class in salsa dancing for one of our students, which was fun and funny. Afterwards they brought out a surprise birthday cake for him which was downright touching. The hotel is perfect for a youth group. The rooms are so clean with good temperature control. The food buffets are practically nonstop which our teenaged students really appreciated. We had a wonderful time, especially due to the entertainment staff.

A really nice small resort with a great beach. I did not realize that a fire several years ago took out one third of the rooms so the resort was never crowded. Beach and poolside chairs were always available at all hours of the day, no getting up early required. Sunrise was after 730 so things started out slowly in the mornings. Peak breakfast hour seemed to be 9am. Only one restaurant at a time was open for breakfast and lunch.Sometimes the food was lukewarm in the hot trays but always a lot of variety. Nice to know the food theme for dinner at breakfast so you could schedule a la cartes around them. A la cartes were ok but the reservation system could be improved, standing in line at 930 am saw long lineups. The good part was you could book for any day of that week. The Mexican was not worth it as they only served the main course, salad and dessert bars the same as lunchtimes.Loved the 8 room bungalows. We were on the ground floor so got a few bug bites from the close vegetation in the evenings. Too bad the 2 pool bars closed at 5 pm, which caused lineups for at the remaining bar from 5-6pm. The beach side bar closed at 930, could be open later and add a few more tables for seating in the evening. The onsite dive shop was great and very helpful in arranging dives. Shows were great. The good - almost everything The bad - lukewarm food and limited evening bar options

Birthday Surprise 😮
This is our second year coming as a family. My daughter Kate, her husband Aaron my two grandchildren, my sister Elizabeth, and this year we had our friends Phil and Diane join us. I love Allegro Cozumel. It's like coming home to family. This year we arrived just before my birthday and to my surprise Roger the chef made me a birthday cake, Angel had me come up and sit a table and asked everyone to sing me happy Birthday, along with, Diego, Paulina & Santana, what a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday! I am so blessed! Thank you Allegro Cozumel. We love you!

Great family time
Wonderful time. Beautiful beach. Special shout out to Entertainment team (Sara, Diego and Angel) and kids club (Joanna and Paulina) who were all fantastic. Please bring back the kids show before the adult show. That’s our only suggestion. We’ll be back.

Cozumel 2025
This Hotel has been amazing the staff especially Sara and angel have been very wonderful! This is our 2nd time visiting this exact resort and plan to return again next year! Food has been fantastic, excursions have been plentiful! The only thing I was sad about was there was no foam party which was so much fun when we came last year!
