  Atrium Beach Resort - Good location and beach

  The Atrium is an older resort that could use a bit of sprucing up, but the location and the beach make up for this. It has a small pool area and there are a couple of restaurants next door, with many other along the street it's located on. The grocery store is just around the corner. We had a two bedroom and it was very spacious. the kitchen was stocked pretty well - had a great ice maker!!! Our AC did not work great - especially for sleeping. It was incredibly windy for 1/2 the time we were there and the sliders whistled like crazy, which was a bit annoying. It might have been worse as we were on the 8th floor, which was great as we had a wonderful view of the marina and the mountain. The staff were fine, but not stellar. One gal gave me incorrect info 3 times. Other staff were pretty good. We did not use the spa. We did not rent a car as things were so close. We took a bus to Phillipsburg for $1.50 each - great deal!! The beach chair/umbrella person was great - Martin. Very helpful. We would go back mainly due to the location, knowing the resort needs a bit of work. Oh and the bed was great!

  Great Stay In A Beautiful Simpson Bay Area

  Everything about the Atrium was wonderful. The room with a king bed was comfortable. We had a wonderful view day and night from the balcony. The swimming pool was clean and enjoyable. There were plenty of really close restaurants and other food options. The beach was beautiful with many optional things to do. Lastly, the hotel staff were some of the friendliest people we have met. All of the front desk ladies that we met were very helpful to us. We will be back when we get the opportunity and the Atrium is definitely where we will be staying!

  Atrium

  The location is great, staff friendly. The unit size is great but units need updating. The pool looks nice but strange location as it is literally right next to the bar area of an independent restaurant. The beach area is wonderful as was the staff.

  This hotel is a jewel!

  We were able to get a room at last minute when our flight to go home to NYC was cancelled. The staff were extremely helpful when we arrived after a multi hour long wait at airport. We were lucky to get a room and one so close to the airport. But we were really lucky because the hotel turned out to be so delightful. Front desk Staff were very welcoming and rapidly got us checked into our room. The quality of the room was excellent. The best part was the very comfortable bed. The room was spotless. Smelled very fresh and AC worked great. Shower was also exceptionally clean with good products. This was a full service room with fridge appliances etc. coffee maker and coffee pods. Very, very convenient. We enjoyed both the pool and beach (free umbrellas and chairs) and two excellent attached restaurants. They have a small deli in lobby with cold drinks on sale. I noticed they also have a spa but we did not have time to use. Also a well equipped gym. Really this place has it all at good prices. Best part though was welcoming and very efficient front desk. Highly recommend.

  We go every year

  We have stayed here for a week every January/February for at least 6 years. The apartment is spacious and within 400 feet of a beautiful beach. The balconies, for the 2 bdrm. apts., include a table seating 4 and 2 lounge chairs. Another plus is that there are at least 6 great restaurants and a decent within a quarter of a mile.
