  THE BEST LUXURY

  My experience at the Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda; I have only 2 cons; 1)Parents who let their young children walk around with their plates..You know what's about to happen and it did many times. Not only is the child crying because he lost his food but many also got cuts. 2)Parents that let their young children dive into that ice cream bar...Oh what a mess for the next person on line. we were 7 of us and enjoyed every single moment each day. first week I was there with my mother and daughter, 2nd week 4 other members of my family came to join us. we were there from March 14 to March 28. we had 3 rooms all of them were beautiful, cleaned every day, had towels and if needed more simply ask your cleaning lady or your guest service and they will be very happy to deliver anything you need to your room. The fridge got refilled every day with beer, Pepsi, Fanta, milk, chocolate milk, orange juice, apple juice, water bottles, soda water and bags of peanuts in the fridge door. We do not drink most of these so we asked the water guy to simply give us water and the next day we got a pack of 24 bottles of water and he gave us another one every 2 or 3 days when needed. Ruth our cleaning (wonder woman) she is the nicest person. every morning we would hear in the hallway 'Hola la familia' with her big smile. She took care of our rooms to perfection. we had the large towels we had the hand towel we had the face towels and if she didn't have any face towels in the morning we would receive them later in the afternoon. Our rooms were cleaned to perfection every day! The buffet; we were there every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a few exceptions the night we had a la carte and when we went to the sports bar. The food is excellent, you can eat different things for 14 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner, there are plenty of options so use your imagination and enjoy. the restaurant a la carte Yurka is the best Thai food. All 7 of us said the same thing we never ate this much food, the quality of the meats, the seafood the pastas, rice etc..and the flavors !! this is a 5* restaurant. Sports bar has the best smash burgers, chicken strips, chicken burgers, honestly everything is good there and nice sporty atmosphere inside the restaurant. (not all beers or liquors are included some you have to pay). We mostly spent our time at the smaller pool, they had yoga on surfboards, we did water bike exercises and went to the bigger pool for water aerobics. At night time there is always entertainment at the Matum, live band, magic show etc.. also outside of the lobby you have the entertainment crew that will dance with you and create a good atmosphere. One night there was a contortionist show with fire at the large pool. They always have the kids dancing during the evening at the Matum before the late entertainment begins. And who can forget King Kong from entertainment this man is crazy funny in the best possible way !! let me give you some names to remember at the buffet. These people went over and beyond our expectations. We had a wedding anniversary celebration and we had a birthday celebration. My favorite is Breily, this man is the best, always smiling, remembering everything we like to drink. He is multi talented, he decorated for our 2 different occasions it was beautiful. And the party he threw for us, the singing the clapping the dancing it was surreal. everyone at the buffet those 2 days were clapping and enjoying themselves also. Thank you Breily for your kindness and your expertise. You are the best at what you do and keep on that smile. Let's not forget Ruben, I called him Fiesta because it's always la fiesta with him. The pastry chef OMG I gained 10 pounds they are to die for. a big thanks to Mairoby, Yinauris and Alanna. the night buffet was always good food we had a special dinner prepared for us on the patio with nice candles a beautiful setup that our host Stanley did for us. This man is so funny and also very good at doing his job 😄 our pool bar a big shout out to Anthony, Angel, Yenny, Brenda and Angela they made everything taste good and if you want to taste a different drink that is not on the menu ask for a Special Angela and she is the only one that knows how to do it it's her own recipe! I can not forget a special mention to Ismy and Drimy at the towel cabana (small pool). Ismy always smiling always courteous and when Drimy was replacing her he was kind and always a beautiful smile. thank you guys for your excellent hard work. A huge thank you to all staff at guest service in the lobby. Quick check in and quick check out. these people are kind and always ready to help you. Also a very big thanks to Armando from guest service. He is a devoted employee and he helped me with some translation from Spanish to English. Thank you so much Armando!! The best for last our guest service representatives Manuel (Mannie) and Jean, these 2 men are exceptional, always smiling and devoted in making sure everything is good in our rooms or with our a la carte reservations, if you need something you go see them or call their extensions and within minutes it's taken care of. We were in building 95 and for us it was the best ! I can not thank enough all these employees for taking care of us and making sure our stay was a very memorable one 💯❤️ the Plouffe family

  Fantastic Stay

  We had an amazing stay. The staff really are fantastic and make a lot of effort to ensure you have a good time. There were a couple of exceptions to this but out of all the many interactions we had with entertainment team and guest experience we were made to feel welcome and we really enjoyed our stay. We really liked the fact that we could use other resorts and entertainment programmes. We found that Punta Cana was more lively in the evening, they had karaoke and a club plus a main square with live singers and dancing. We also enjoyed some evenings at Ambar, the retro party was a lot of fun. I've not given 5 star because we did have to switch rooms after a few nights because of some pests in the bathroom, but this didn't affect our stay too much and we definitely would return.

  Great choice of restaurants, updated rooms, nice pools, great service, they value their clients!

  Had a great time, fantastic food with about 19 restaurants! Spent three weeks there (January 2025) of the 9 weeks spent at a Bahia resort December 1 2024 thru March 27 2025. This by far was the best of the three. Hands down way better than the Bahia in Mexico. The new swim our rooms are beautiful, really enjoyed taking a dip in our private pool every night. A special thank you to Adriana, assistant director, she made our stay! Her personalized attention to our family & special events really shows that this location values its clients. The pool bartender and server gals were awesome, Stefani thank you to you and Yani for the fantastic service. This resort is great for longer stays( 28 days) with all the different restaurants, pools and lobby/ lounges you have access to. The beach was nice but it was extremely busy during our time there. Will definitely be back!

  Beautiful trip

  Great experience! We made a mother-daughter trip. Courteous, polite and helpful staff. We had some problems with the room opening control system but the reception quickly sent someone to repair. The beach is flooded with vendors, but they respect when told no, they are not insistent. Excellent food and I recommend to anyone who wishes a beautiful trip. I'm going back to this place without hesitation.

  Worth it

  Overall good experience . Food and drinks were great ! We loved the silent disco night and fire show. The buffet had a great food selection servers were attentive and really made my daughter feel special for her birthday. Overall solid experience for the party of 15. Would recommend.
