It was so good! You need to see the show! If you come here you need to see it. We saw the greatest showman. This resort has the best entertainment. They sing, dance and they are very talented. Don’t miss this show. I’m begging you to go see this show

Dec 16, 2024I recommend this place. Slight issue with one of the untrained and young staff… hoping they “sort it out”
Everything’s very good, cleanliness, nice drinks, quality food, most staff are lovely! My husband and I are staying at this place for the second year in a row. We obviously came back because we loved it here! We paid for what they called the premium level which is basically an all inclusive and beyond!… We stayed at the premium level for 11 nights and the lady at the VIP Lounge was disrespectful and not trained. Twice she was rude to me and my husband, simply disgraceful… I could not catch her name but she was young and insolent to tell the truth. Management: please either train her or fire her!! She was at Manzanillo’s lounge on 16/12/2024 at 4:30pm. Being bothered by untrained and rude staff leaves a bad taste and should not be something that a tourist should ever experience! A special mention to waiters: Antonio, Alejando and Silvestre who always went above and beyond to make our time so pleasant! Thank you Barcelo Karmina Manzanillo, apart from that incident everything is perfect and we will hopefully certainly come back!

My stay at a beautiful Manzanillo hotel.
Barcelo Karmina is a beautiful hotel, with several swimming pools in beautiful grounds. Staff members are amazing. There are a variety of restaurants and bars. The outdoor theater had nightly shows where the entertainers and dancers had wonderful costumes. The dance team was so amazing and talented. My room was in fact a junior suite with a two TVs and a very large bathroom.

Stay Away! Horrible service, rooms, food, drinks. We were a group of 15. We had about 5 rooms and all had horrible experiences. From the noise of events and music until 2:00 am to one room having MOLD in the vents. Towels were there to keep water from dripping. Whoever owns this hotel has not invested one cent in it. The quality of food and drinks is horrendous. We were never able to find cold water the drinks all tasted like chemicals. They use the cheapest of everything. We have never had such undesirable food in Mexico. Your better off going to Cancun for all inclusive. We will NOT be returning. Management requested the video of rhe mold. We hope they never let guests stay in that room again.

All Inclusive turns into Semi Inclusive
Despite the Resort being a beautiful place it was disappointing in many other aspects. I am booked for another Barcelo Karmina in Puerto Vallarta and am concerned about my stay now.
