I forgot to write a review from the winter of 2024, but below is a review written by my 9 year old daughter. This resort is great for kids and families, but there are not too many kids, which is nice. The only gripe in 2024 was that there is still a lot of inconsistency with the beach towels for those on premium reservations. They seemed to have fixed this in 2025. As always, Samantha in the Barcy Club leads a great team of dedicated ladies that have many fun activities for the kids. Every year we look forward to seeing them. Gabriel and Clementino are excellent ambassadors and greeters in the Caribe lobby, and Michelle in the Caribe premium lounge takes great care of us each year. I love Mexico!😍❤️🤩 l stayed there at Barceló Maya Caribe. It was amazing! There was so much to do. One of my favorite things was swimming with dolphins 🐬!!! It was so cool.There was so much pools. There was also a swim up bar and hammocks. The hotel’s were very open and very spacious. There was also a huge pirates water park with four water slides. The colors on the water slides were violet, orange, red, and yellow. My favorite slide was the violet one and not because of the color. It’s because it’s the fastest one and it shoots you out of it! It’s so fun! There is also a kids club called Barcy’s kids club. They have a lot to do for kids. For example you can make friendship bracelets and it’s so fun!❤️🐳🐠🦩

It was decent. Not enough communication about what was available. Directions did not make sense either. It was hard to get around. It was a nice resort, and we were able to relax, but some stressful portions.

The beach location is beautiful.
Great for weddings. The views at the beach are beautiful. The mexican restaurant was delicious. All of the other restaurants were mid. I probably wouldn't stay here again. It was not really convenient if you are trying to relax by the beach. There was only 1 bar by the beach. Everything was a mile walk away not ideal if you are there to relax.

Food at the buffet and pool bars is terrible. We tried the other sections buffet with little to no improvement. Room smelled like mold

Great location. Great Beach. Great pools. Great staff
This was our second time at Barcelo Maya. We loved the Caribe. All inclusive makes for a relaxing week on the beach with no worries. Great place for families or couples. The staff is super nice and happy to be there. Day trip to cenotes and turtle sanctuary was expensive, but fun. Will definitely be back!
