5 nights at Bolongo
Overall my stay was great. They have water shipped in so one night there was no water at 3am. It was resolved by morning. They do ask that you reuse towels for conservation. The staff overall was terrific just one who wasn’t pleasant. I would recommend this if you want a laid back vacation and great food!

All inclusive in St Thomas!
We enjoyed 5 nights at Bolongo Bay. Overall 5 ⭐️s. The STT airport is chaos…loud, noisy, crowded and disorganized. The taxis are shuttles, shared with others going to various stops. It was $20 pp, even though the posted sign said $14. When returning home, give yourself 3+ hours to get through US Customs. If you are expecting a 5-star luxury resort, you’ll be disappointed. It’s not fancy - - just cozy and super casual…literally shorts and t-shirts. Shower is tiny, and could have used a caddy or shelf to hold razor, etc. Soap (liquid, not bars), shampoo, lotion, and conditioner are provided. Decor is a bit dated; but all clean, spacious and functional. We had zero bugs (although we were prepared with bug spray and bug repellent soap, it wasn’t needed), and water shoes are not necessary…just flip flops are fine. We did the all-inclusive package, and food, drinks and service were all excellent…no complaints at all. We’d heard the food was good, but it greatly exceeded our expectations. And the portions are HUGE. Made breakfast and dinner reservations each day for the following day and never had an issue. Menu is varied with lots of options, including nightly specials. 15% gratuity is included, but we always left a little more in cash to round up to 20%. Bartenders, servers, housekeeping - - everyone was awesome. Nightly entertainment was fun and lively. We did Sunday Funday, and the Sunset cruise. Highly recommend both. Sunday Funday takes a 1+ hour catamaran ride, with an open bar, to Water Island for snorkeling and the beach. Paid $30 for two beach chairs and an umbrella for 3 hours. There is a bar offering live music, and food and drinks for purchase. Take a towel with you. The Sunset Cruise was amazing and the views are stunning. Captain Benjamin and his crew do a great job of entertaining the guests and pointing out sites of interest along the way. If you want to take an island tour, they leave each day at 10am. We made the mistake of thinking that we’d do a tour after lunch, but we missed it. So, we just took a taxi to downtown for shopping. $12 pp each way. Totally safe…everyone was friendly and appreciated our business. There were no ships in port on the day we visited downtown, so it was quiet and peaceful. Overall, we loved St. Thomas & Bolongo Bay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The island and people are all lovely. ❤️🏝️☀️

Amazing stay!
Best getaway EVER! We’re already planning the return trip! Loved Santana in the restaurant and the best was being 10 steps away from the beach. My husband and I had intentions of going to other places/islands but we do loved to resort we had no reason to leave! Loved every minute- thank you!

Not your typical All-Inclusive
The beachfront king bed room was worth it for the ease of access to the beach and the pool/restaurant/bar area; but my room had a locked, public bathroom, toilet dispenser and a dated kitchenette that took away from the $500+ per night price. There was very little overnight cleaning service, if any, so if guests left garbage and used towels around, they remained the next day. The wait & beach/activities staff were lovely people and very accommodating. They definitely could have used more bartenders during the day. The restaurant’s food depended on the chef, so consistently was an issue, but it was never bad. I probably wouldn’t go back, but I’m glad I went the one time.

Can’t wait to go back!
Clean rooms, great friendly staff, excellent food and drinks, great pool, beach activities, can’t wait to go back!!!!! Everyone made us feel like family. We loved the entree’s and appetizers. Honestly, you have plenty of options to choose from and won’t leave hungry. The water filter system allows you to have delicious water to drink so you don’t always have to have bottled water. No worries for drinking it!!! The relaxed atmosphere makes you lose track of time and you can enjoy the views all day long.
