Feb 21, 2025Not that great
pros 3rd visit in 10 yrs. Def has gone down. 5 days stay. Drinks soooo expensive ended up being $24 for sub par mixed drink outside@ bar. They had a happy hour buy 1 get 1 a few years ago. Poor draft selection. $10 each + tip tax. plastic cup. Stained beach towels......had to pay above and beyond for a beach umbrella. The room was overstocked with alcohol/soda in the mini fridge. Asked for a second fridge....they brought immediately. No drawers for clothing. Only 1 small drawer in.each nightstand. That was it. Had to live out of our suitcases. Pros- great location. Near bus and free trolley. Nice beach. Pools were nice. Staff was great. Other than that...nothing special. Good food in the area.....all in walking distance....The Tavern had good burgers.....Bon Bouquet had amazing paninis and Crepes. Other than that.....no bueno. Prob will not go back. Many other properties to chose from.

Feb 20, 2025Irresponsible management of credit and debit card information
The hotel stay was adequate but the hotel seems to be irresponsible with people's credit and debit cards. I had money withdrawn from my account three times in less than 24 hours, twice where there were no associated charges and no pre-warning or a heads up and a third time where staff said they would check whether payment would go to my account or the company account and just directly extracted money from me without coming back to me. When I enquired they said to check with the restaurant as it was a different company but the restaurant didnt have my card details therefore highlighting lack of transparency.

We're recently returned from staying at the Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, and we still love it. Last year we said that we'd be back, and we were. What stands out most is the excellent attitude and friendliness of everyone in the staff with whom we engaged. There are three people in particular that I'd like to call out for exceptional service: Wesley at the Bungalow Beach Bar, Andy at Donna Mare (second year in row!), and Leo who helped us with our luggage when checking out (also for the second year in a row!), but everyone from the bell desk, concierge, front desk, pool, beach, bars, housekeeping, etc. were great! After a long flight with a morning arrival it's nice that a changing room is provided, and being able to then chill at the beach bar while waiting for our room (which became available and upgraded well prior to the official 4:00PM check-in) was wonderful. The food and drinks at the Bungalow Beach Bar were excellent, and dinner at Donna Mare was fabulous. Thank you!

Quick 2-night stay here with my husband MLK weekend and it was a good experience. Arrived very early and the room wasn't ready (I didn't expect it to be). They have 2 nice changing rooms in the lobby area, so changed into a swimsuit and cover up and then had the luggage stored. Ate lunch at the little cabana bar by the pool. Very tasty salmon & crispy rice bowl, friendly server. Beautiful beach and the beach staff was friendly and efficient. Once checked into the room, very happy overall. Clean & well-appointed. Our room was in the ocean tower and had a nice little balcony with view of the main pool and beach. The bed and bedding was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was sort of "clinical" feeling but it was spacious. The only real complaint is that our toilet kept running, so we just kept the bathroom door closed to block the sound at night. Saw some reviews that said this hotel was loud, but that wasn't our experience, at least not based on where our room was (thankfully). Drinks at the bar were expensive, but the bartender was friendly and remembered us (and our order) the second night. Staff overall were really exceptional. The breakfast was good, albeit overpriced (even with our welcome gift discount). They have a water bottle filling station by the bathrooms off the lobby, but it's down a hallway and kind of weird. For how pretty and well-appointed this hotel is, I was surprised they didn't have a big dispenser of lemon water or something displayed right in the lobby itself. I think that would add a really nice touch. There's not as much around the hotel as there is lower on South Beach, but I enjoyed the fact that is was more peaceful. They have bikes you can use, but every time we tried to take them out, they were already in use by other guests. However, there's a CitiBike station right across the street. Would stay here again!

Truly terrible experience
I can honestly say I've never had a worse experience in a hotel. The hotel was totally overbooked and at 11pm the lobby was filled with families waiting for rooms. Front desk staff were clearly unequipped to deal with the level of dissatisfaction from people waiting for rooms. Just a terrible experience. Do not go.
