No ladders in the main pool. It is a walk in pool, which is great, however, if you were spending time at one end of the pool, and need to get out, you have to swim all the way across the large pool to get out. Not ideal for those who can’t lift themselves out.

Beautiful resort with minor improvements needed
We just returned from a week at the caribe. We stayed in building A on the first floor. The location of our room was perfect. We were steps away from the beach and pool. Our room was clean and updated. I’ve read that lots of people had troubles booking a la cartes but we did not. We were a group of 6. We only ate at the buffet one night for dinner which was the day we arrived. Our favourite a la cartes were the Japanese and the Mexican. 5/6 meals at the Italian came out cold. A bit disappointing. We did send one back to be reheated. I couldn’t be bothered to send mine back. We found most of the food to be great. Yes, the burgers at the snack bar appear to be on the red side, but different countries cook their meats differently. My husband ate more than one and was fine. I’ve found the service across the entire resort to be very good. The workers are in abundance and constantly cleaning and seem happy to serve you. Yes we tip, but we noticed lots of people who do not. The workers earned their tips for sure. We found the service at the Italian restaurant not great. But overall, a 4.5/5 for service. There are tons of bars. The rooftop bar is spectacular at night with a great view. The drinks all over the resort were great! 5/5 for drinks! Most of the night time shows were good. We really enjoyed the broadway show. Lots of activities happening on the beach and around the pool. We did let guest services know it was my husbands birthday and they said we would get a birthday banner on the door and a fruit basket in the morning. We did get the fruit basket around 5 pm but Jo birthday banner. The staff at the Japanese restaurant brought out a cake, which was very much appreciated. We loved how lush the property is. We enjoyed seeing the turtles, flamingos, ducks, birds, lizards. This is very unique for this property. I would return to this resort.

Beautiful Grounds
Stayed here from October 30th - November 8th. The place has beautiful grounds and so much natural beauty including wildlife. It was amazing to see. We were located in building A across from the pool and it was an excellent location. The rooms were updated and provided more storage than I've seen in an all inclusive in a while. 2 closets, numerous drawers, double sinks, walk in shower and separate toilet area. Quite impressive!! Staff was beyond amazing wherever we were. Shout out to the following: Pool Bar - Gerson, Juan, Wally G and Wellington - just amazing meeting you all and so entertaining and friendly and efficient running both the swim up and walk up bars at the same time! Well done!! Housekeeping - Rafaella was the most pleasant person - always had a smile on her face and was always helpful in whatever was requested. Sports Bar - Joel is just beyond words!!! I don't know how he does it. Keeps track of everything and everyone so well. We had the pleasure of meeting Roberto (the roving waiter) our first day there at the sports bar and then saw him multiple times in different locations throughout our stay. He would always come and say hello and see how we were. A truly truly wonderful person! Al a Carte Reservations - Oliver and Carlos were so helpful with our multiple reservations/cancelations/modifications - they really know what they are doing. I'm not a 'foodie' per se but I did manage to find something to eat at all times. Buffet is a tad smaller than I've seen in other resorts but again didn't go hungry. Tried 3 al a Carte restaurants and the portions were very large and tasty. Last shout out goes to Gregory - trolly/bellman - so helpful in our room assignment's and just a great guy. Everytime he would pass us on the trolly would always say hello and call us 'Familia'. This was our first time at this resort but I would definitely recommend it. If time and money permits I would probably visit again!
