  Our tenth holiday at Coconut bay

  We first found CBay in 2016 and decided it was a place we would like to return to frequently which, fortunately, we have been able to do, this being our tenth visit. The reason for this is due to the staff at all levels whose primary mission is to make the guests feel part of the Cbay ‘family’. We have always been made to feel so welcome that it feels like we are returning to the CBay branch of our extended family! The various dining experiences available throughout the day are varied and extensive. We enjoyed having breakfast on the Veranda rather than in the main restaurant as it is child free and much more laid back. We also experienced the Calabash and Silk restaurant menus on the Veranda, now a permanent option rather than eating in those restaurants which can become a little too loud for us. We also ate at the La Luna restaurant twice, one night being the ‘Perfect Night’ option which was great. We have always found the food at the various restaurants very agreeable. This time there was a new restaurant, Seasons, offering a purely vegan menu. We felt this new restaurant needed a little more time to perfect its role to match the standards of the other restaurants. The majority of the rooms in the adults’ only Harmony wing have now been renovated. With the new fixtures and fittings they are up to date and fully functional. The standard of cleanliness of the rooms, and indeed the whole resort, is kept at an extremely high standard On our last stay we spent a day in one of the new Paradise Beach cabanas which we found extremely pleasant. We did the same this time but, for some reason we didn’t agree with, a blue tooth device was offered to allow users to listen to their music. The outcome of this was that the group of people next to us turned their music up so loud it quickly became annoying. We were obliged to contact the CBay staff to ask them to get these people to turn the music down, which they kindly did without (fortunately) any bad feeling. We feel these devices are completely unnecessary and likely to intrude on the enjoyment of other guest’s enjoyment, as we experienced. CBay works very hard to keep the beaches free as possible from of the naturally occurring Sargassum weed problem that is endemic across the Caribbean. Other than one day following an overnight storm, the beach cleaning tractor kept the beach virtually weed free and the level of weed in the water was minimal. As ever, we took the opportunity to have a massage in the Spa. A thoroughly enjoyable and repeatable experience. Returning to the topic of the staff, it was good to meet the General Manager, John Miles, who has a lovely style and personality. We would also like to mention Shawna Kadou in the Reservations Department, Octavia at Reception, Dahlia at the Concierge Desk, the waiters and waitresses who serverd us plus Mary the egg lady in the main restaurant, Gina at La Luna, Tara at the restaurant booking desk, Joel the cabana buggy driver who was always smiling, Claude, Nick, Dona D, Sage and Ed at the main bar and of course not to forget the irrepressible Dillan at the Harmony Bar. Our thanks go to all of them and all the many we haven’t mentioned for making our stay such a wonderful experience. There are many other aspects of Cbay we haven’t mentioned here but when considered as a whole, we find the resort offers a thoroughly enjoyable holiday experience which we recommend unreservedly. We look forward to returning for our eleventh holiday at CBay in the near future!

  Fantastic!!

  Family outing from ages of 8 to 70. It was wonderful!! The entire group "swam with the dolphins" and loved it. The snorkeling was fantastic!! The fish were extremely large and the sting rays were very friendly. We spent a lot of time in 3 feet of water near the shore talking with the lifeguard/guide about the rays and touching them as they continually came right up to us. Water was refreshing, but totally worth it. The lazy river was heated and we all enjoyed the various adventures in each section as well as the animals. The aviary was fun and birds landed on our arms to eat. The food was great and I encourage everyone to visit Discovery Cove as it's worth every penny. We have memories that will last forever.

  Great trip

  Great resort really nice staff. All food was made to order which was really good a lot of complimentary items! I would say even though the food was made to order it wasn’t the best options however the JERK HUT 10/10 food was always good never ran out and made to order and really nice staff! Also it is literally a 7 minute drive from the airport really close! And great choices of liquor

  Love St. Lucia and Coconut Bay!

  What a great trip thanks to the incredible staff at Coconut Bay Beach Resort! We felt so loved-on. Dahlia and the rest of the fantastic Concierge team greeted and welcomed us on arrival. Our Junior Suite in the Harmony wing of the hotel (Concierge room) was spacious and comfortable, with views of the ocean and adult pool. We were glad we had selected the Junior Suite for the daily amenities and treats…worth it! We enjoyed the Veranda breakfasts daily, with wonderful service by Shekina, Kerniah, Kiara and Lester. Dre at the Harmony pool bar always served up cold libations with a smile. We loved the food at the resort…always great choices and prepared with love. Our favorite restaurant was Silk, where I enjoyed my birthday dinner on arrival, however each restaurant we tried was excellent. Shout out to Gina, Nissa, Row, Shass and many others that always rendered service with a smile during our stay. The spa was amazing…kudos to friendly Monica at the spa Reception desk and to my massage therapist and esthetician Clea! I treated myself to “Tropical Oasis” foot soak, scrub/ massage and facial. Wow…Clea did a great job on my treatment and I felt like jelly afterwards! Fantastic! The resort caters to families well in the Splash wing, which was alive with activity. Although the resort is older, the property seems to be maintained, and renovations are currently going on for some rooms in the Harmony wing. Even if some of the facilities appeared to need updating/ renovation, the staff were the shining stars here. I would happily return to reunite with my new friends!

  Can I go above 5 star review? This is resort was amazing!

  We came to St. Lucia for the first time. Our friends were married on site. If you are looking for a resort to host your wedding, this is the place!!! You will not be disappointed. We had a very clean and beautiful room. The staff went above and beyond with welcoming us with kind words and hospitality! Honestly everyone from restaurants, cleaning services, gift shops and bars all were very professional and so very polite...oh and some exterior updates were being done and the workers were even so kind. We will come again and bring our kids we know they would love the pools and waterpark area.
