Beautiful spot to relax
The highlight of our trip to the Conrad was the most amazing person that tended to us on the beach. Her name is Cynthia (in front of Casa 3); she made the trip for me and my entire family of 18. She was super courteous, warm, very helpful and someone my grandchildren were happy to be around. The hotel had some shortcomings (poor shower pressure, lumpy pillows), but the staff were amazing and more than made up for some physical shortcomings.

Discriminatory Treatment and Dismissive Management – A Cautionary Tale
Discriminatory Treatment and Dismissive Management – A Cautionary Tale I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience. My wife and I were subjected to demeaning and discriminatory treatment by hotel staff during our stay. Staff questioned if we were “together” in a way that felt targeted and offensive, ruining what was supposed to be a relaxing visit. When I formally complained, hoping for professionalism and resolution, the hotel escalated the matter to their legal department. Shockingly, their legal counsel outright defended the staff’s behavior, refused to share any anti-discrimination policies, and coldly “closed” the matter without offering any resolution or apology beyond a token statement. As frequent travelers, we’ve never experienced such poor handling of a serious issue. If you care about respectful treatment and professional customer service, I strongly recommend you stay elsewhere. For transparency, I am filing complaints with Mexico’s anti-discrimination and consumer protection agencies to ensure accountability.

Meh at Conrad
The only reason we would go back to the Conrad is because of the staff - in particular, Gabriel. Check in was a nightmare - we arrived at 2pm and were told our room should be ready "soon" - so we went to eat and relax at the poolside restaurant...only to learn that "soon" meant 7pm... what a joke. They didn't even offer us an upgrade...we got a resort credit - which at an expensive hotel like the Conrad, doesn't go very far. The resort is pretty and well-maintained. Our room was just ok - the lighting is non-existent and figuring out which switch is the "master" switch in order to work the lights is tricky. Housekeeping was spotty - and not meticulous. 4 of us were in the room and we got 3 towels daily... We didn't visit the spa. We enjoyed Paleta daily - like I said, Gabriel saved the trip. By far the best food was there. We had breakfast at Arbor daily - it was ok...not particularly worth $45 per person - we were thankful we had it included in our room rate. Mezquite was so pricey and not even that great. We each ordered a steak and my "skirt steak" was basically just. a fat lump of meat with no flavor...the filet my daughter had was marginally better and my husband got the Brazilian cut of beef - which was very small and also missed the mark. We left the property for 2 dinners and had a great time in Sayulita - highly recommend venturing off property to check out the local hot spots. This property definitely didn't entice us away from being loyal Hyatt members - but we would consider going back, if only to visit Gabriel again. His other staff at Paleta was great ,too - Tonya, Richard, Avi, Charlie, Paco and Alex. Kudos to them!

Spring Break 2025 March 30-April 5th
Traveled to Punta De Mita area north of Puerto Vallarta spring break 2025. Highschool age children (2). Selected the signature beach front suite. I was very satisfied with everything to do with the stay. 1. Both children have severe allergies. Our concierge (Daniella) not only informed our breakfast area, and hotel restaurants but also any and all places we ate off campus. During the 6 nights we had ZERO near misses and exposures. It reflects the commitment of the staff. Breakfast is usually very restrictive for my kids given the severity of the Egg and nut allergies. The made individual breakfasts for both my girls. 2. the room was outstanding, well maintained and stocked. The plunge pool and the amenities were well maintained.....finally a properly heated plunge pool in Mexico! 3. The property is beautiful. Well maintained and despite the size I never felt like there was a lot of people there- multiple different pools...a huge beach (it almost felt like a private beach there are only a few hotels.) The waves are awesome...the water is not warm but we like the beach. Best of all was the service - Leo Ivan and all the staff OUTSTANDING. 4.The spa was part of our package and was lovely....the gym was great and we used it daily. Tennis courts, pickle ball 5. Short ride to Punta de Mita (dining is fabulous). We didn't go to Sayulita ( have been previously). My preference is to dine in Punta De Mita there are really cool restaurants. But the hotels dining is excellent as well I can't say enough good things about the stay. The staff is very proud of their hotel and it shows

Relax, enjoy and travel with piece of mind at the Conrad Punta de Mita!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the resort. There were a few events going on during our trip but it felt like we still were treated as the only guests! Our suite room was amazing and our Compadre help and supported us through out the stay. They even helped arrange a babymoon theme for our room when we arrived to our suite. We are very happy to have had our babymoon at the Conrad and can't recommend it enough. Beam photography is a must for couples as well! Wendy at beam is so helpful and thoughtful, made our babymoon photo session perfect! Regardless of your stay, honeymoon, babymoon or just a vacation we'd recommend a couples or family photo session with beam!
