The Conrad Punta Mita is magical!
We planned my MIL’s birthday vacation with almost 20 people, and picked the perfect spot! The Conrad Punta Mita was magical! Fabulous customer service and amazing service at the pool/beach and all of the restaurants. The experience that was most special was working with Wendy the hotel photographer for a family photo shoot. Wendy was professional, but also so much fun, beyond friendly and kind, and so talented! Our pictures came out phenomenal, and she created a video that brought us all to happy tears!

What a waste of 7 K for two weeks. Please try a real 5 stars hotel, if you don't want to be treated poorly
What an unfortunate event at this property. We usually travel 5 stars hotels all over the World, but really loved Astoria in Cabo and this time we wanted to give a chance to Conrad first time in this location. From the initial unstable responses through emails several months before about prep fully prepaid already over prices trip, which was $1400 jacked up prices for Valentine’s Day trip , we were already alerted where we were getting ourselves into. Daniela Rodriguez, our pre and current butler were rude, obnoxious and unfriendly with inconsistent responses and to all primely answers not to It. Up on arrival Bill, the second friendly butler issued us a late check out till 4 pm, if we knew we would be locked out of our Anniversary Day at noon, we would have chosen earlier flight. Prior to arrival, we mentioned we are coming to our big Anniversary, no one even ones acknowledge, not even celebrated our Anniversary, no one cared. I had spa pre booked months ahead and when arrived no one even prior mentioned that music was blasting outside , even they knew that guest having cabana massages, they cancelled experience very last second and I had to wait for my massage wasted extra 30 min, wasting my time for inside for available room to have a quiet massage. So unprofessional. The bathroom shower sink was clogged, addressed to fixed twice and still was plugged with pictures as of today after, shower head had barely come with pressure. That also was not fixed with two attempts. As well bath water drain opened did not work. For everything we ordered we had to wait up to hr( including towels) and wait extra times. The whole focuse of hotel felt like how to suck out money from American guests, as much as they can. For example, they did have other rooms similar category available you keep us till 4 , but miraculously if we paid extra check out fees for half day, room was still available, but they were refused to keep us there stayed we have to pay full amount or even to standard room, pay fees and taxes, really? How complimentary is that if was stated free complimentary in our original solution. Food on the other hand was just ok and overpriced. Nachos stale, even though they tried to replace, and we said no thank you, chicken wings were dry and not seasoned, ranch dressing terrible, one thing I only like Ceasar salad, we practically ordered that one daily. Buffet was sucked, not much variety of food and poor selection and I m Not even talking about the quality, so practically we went only ones. I have to mention expect wait at least 20 min online to get in and make sure you join buffet breakfast at least in hr prior, because exactly at 11 am you won’t see any food from stands. In room dining pizza 🍕 was brought, seemed like Pizza Hut delivery and that all with additional room service fees and delivery fees and stated extra tip section. Food from Codex yesterday for two items took 1 h 20 min to get and they want to charge $20 instead $5 . Scam all over. Wi fi connection was terrible, so if you are planning to work while “resting here”, good luck with that. We ordered flowers for Anniversary, stuff asked for cash no receipt with no choices where is cash went, not invoice, no choices, unbelievable. The upper management were fighting with us on phone, including Alfredo for room negotiation. Such a relaxing experience. What a shame. We will be putting a formal complaint to Hilton headquarters for this treatment and next time will be join St. Regis. What a waste of money! Thank you for trying for the rest! P. S Before writing ✍️ a review with frustration, we addressed all these issues to our butler Daniela Rodriguez a d she mentions that she would forward that to her management, but management seem did not care. At least one of them, at this matter, Alfonzo or Maria, ignored it. Provide your direct email here to respond your back, including your name, to go further, before formal complaint to Hilton headquarters. Thank you for fast response.

Unforgettable New Year's at Conrad Punta Mita
We had an incredible stay at Conrad Punta Mita over New Year's! From the moment we arrived, Miguel at the front desk made us feel welcome and ensured a seamless experience coordinating all our activities. Our walk-out room was beautiful, conveniently close to the pool and beach. One small recommendation—having paths that allow direct access from the room instead of going through the front door would be great for the kids. The New Year's Eve celebration was truly unforgettable—fireworks were a perfect 10, and the music and dancing created an amazing atmosphere! However, having stayed multiple years in a row, we did notice the absence of the large marquee numbers on the beach celebrating the New Year. They’ve always been a special touch, and we definitely recommend bringing them back in the future! A special shoutout to Eddie, the bartender at Mezquite. He was friendly, always eager to help, and impressively remembered our names every time. He worked both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day with the same great energy and professionalism. Julio and Ricardo provided exceptional poolside and food service, always attentive and making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, our experience was top-notch, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you to the entire team at Conrad Punta Mita for making our stay so special!

What a joke .... felt like a carnival cruise with the 2 hour room wait at 2pm. Ghetto!!!
What a joke!! From the 90 minute wait in the lobby to the terrible manager who clearly did not care. Super ghetto and if you want a good vacation just spend a little bit more for the Four seasons or the St. Regis. The room will cost more but the service is spectacular AND the prices for food are the same.

Very pretty property. Service is spotty. Good little spot if you can get a good deal on the room rate.
**There is construction occurring right next door to Conrad** there is a very large crane and huge piles of dirt/construction workers next to the path along the entire left side (when looking at ocean) of the property/buildings - they are building a large condo complex. So, stay in the casas on the right side of the property (north side). Mildly annoying construction noise. Crane is in your view to the south, but doesn’t block ocean. First, the good. Nice rooms, pretty property. Well maintained. Food is expensive but pretty good. (For reference we ate at the St. Regis one night, prices were similar but food was much much better, as was the overall dining experience). Make sure to get breakfast buffet included w/ rate. It’s good, lots of options. We did not get Hilton Honors upgrade upon arrival - just fyi. Everyone is friendly at Conrad. Joel at Mesquite restaurant especially nice/helpful. I’d say the property is comparable to a JW Marriott. We felt very safe, although security at the main gate is kind of a joke (the “security” officers were sitting under a tattered umbrella covered with a black plastic bag?!). They pretend to look at some sort of list when you enter. Conrad hotel gate security did ask for room number. Not like Punta Mita complex where they check your ID at every entry gate (if I bring my family back I would stay at Four Seasons or St. Regis inside Punta Mita complex/gates - felt MUCH more secure). It is difficult to get reservations to dine on property. However, half the tables were empty every time we ate on property — even at prime times when hotel seemed very full. Likely understaffed. Lots of young kids/families. Seems like a good place to bring young children. Kids play area, splash pad, slides were nice. We spent our time at adult pool. Concierge is overwhelmed. We would text requests to them (as instructed) and no one would respond. They said they were “very busy” so sorry we didn’t get back to you. We actually got stranded at the end of an excursion because they told us to text an hour before we needed a ride back to Conrad from PV — we texted and then called but “they were very busy and didn’t see our request”. Ended up taking a sort of scary taxi ride 40 min back to Conrad. No a/c in car. We complained to concierge but they made excuses. Although concierge was friendly and pleasant they weren’t really on their game (we booked our own excursion b/c we didn’t think concierge would get to it in time…they didn’t seem to even have our emails/texts from before we arrived …. didn’t have a handle on our itinerary). Just as long as your expectations are mid-range in terms of service, it’s fine. I would have been super upset if we hadn’t gotten a reasonable room rate. But if I were paying $1k/night plus probably would have moved hotels. If you can get a good deal, worth it. If not, spring for St. Regis. Finally, they had a corporate event on the main (and only) ocean front lawn one night we were there. They spent the entire day building scaffolding and setting up for the event - right in front of the main/prime ocean view the lobby/pool chairs look at —- super annoying — men climbing on tall scaffolding for basically the entire day. Tip to management, build scaffolding/pre-set tables in another location and move them onto lawn a few hours before event. You could also place little notes on the pool chairs that let guests know their view will be obstructed/disrupted due to event set up — so they can pick another seat. Overall: Conrad good mid-upper range option. If the service had been awesome I’d say very, very nice for a Hilton (no poolside service until 11am??). Also, cleaning carts with bottles of chemicals and bright yellow trash receptacles parked by pool lounge chairs during prime pool time, etc… maintenance/cleaning being performed in plain view everyday during prime hours, etc…(things that should have been done early in the morning before guests arrive, or done more discreetly). The little things matter. The most annoying thing by far was the ground transportation situation. They need to get that under control. And people “saving” pool chairs is also an issue - fyi.
