Jan 17, 2025Amazing 3 Night Stay
We had an amazing 3 night stay at The Conrad. It was the perfect way to finish off the holidays! The beachfront room (Casa 7), was incredible. It was spacious, tastefully decorated and stocked with provisions. As many have stated, the grounds were beautiful and the staff was exceptional! I'm perplexed by any negative reviews of food? We ate at all 3 restaurants on the property, each one even better than the last. The highlight was Codex, where we served by Jesus, he was an absolute delight. I'm grateful that he recommended the grilled octopus when I asked his opinion, it was a culinary masterpiece. Treat yourself to a spa service, the treatments and facilities were perfection!

Truly a slice of heaven....
I wanted to share my wonderful experience at the Conrad Punta de Mita during my recent girls' trip in December. As a frequent guest at various Conrad hotels (London, Beijing, Nashville, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles), I have a decent understanding of the brand's standards. However, the Conrad Punta de Mita truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect—facilities, rooms, restaurants, and service. The rooms were absolutely stunning—spacious, immaculate, and beautifully appointed. I just love Byredo bath amenities! The public areas, including the pools (of which there were many!) were spotless and well-maintained. We also enjoyed the games room (with ping pong, pool, foosball, and air hockey), as well as the tennis and pickleball courts. There's no shortage of activities to enjoy on the resort. In my opinion, exceptional service can make or break a vacation, and the service at the Conrad Punta de Mita was nothing short of five stars. Laura (I hope I’ve spelled her name correctly), the front desk agent who checked us in, was welcoming, friendly, efficient, and professional. Robert and the bell staff were equally impressive—knowledgeable, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The servers at all the restaurants were attentive and made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. A few highlights I highly recommend: the tableside, made-to-order salsa and guacamole at Arbol—an absolute must-try! Codex, the fine dining restaurant, offered breathtaking ocean-side dining, fantastic entertainment (on Friday nights), and exceptional service. Another great perk is the complimentary shuttle service to a nearby golf course. The resort is about a 15-20 minute drive from Sayulita, a charming seaside town with delightful shopping. If you’re planning to shop, I recommend paying in pesos, as many vendors offer better deals when paid in the local currency. I can’t wait to return to the Conrad Punta de Mita with my husband and son. Thank you for providing such an incredible experience!

Just amazing
From the staff to the grounds to our room to the food and beverage, this is one of the best resorts I have ever been to. It is just beautiful. The staff is excellent! It is so clean. Everyone is so friendly. Waking up to the waves in the morning and watching the sunset over the mountains is spectacular. There were even fireworks while we ate dinner on the beach.

Jan 03, 2025I was conned at the Conrad
The resort is beautiful, well staffed and sited magnificently on the beach. The room had spectacular views. The food was very good and the wait staff was excellent. The reason for the low rating is the cleverness of the front desk staff. My wife and I arrived with an adult child and asked about upgrading our room. The front desk team is well trained in the sleight of hand involved with getting a room upgrade. As we discussed what rooms were an available upgrade, multiple times I was told the total for the new room. What I wasn’t told was that the total for the new room was in addition to what I had already paid for my current room. I even was given a form to sign that said the total for the new room. Imbedded in the small print was the news that the total was in addition. At check out I was naturally quite surprised with the new “total”. When I complained to the manager, I was told that she would review the video of my check in and decide if I was misinformed. Naturally, that review would be sometime in the future. As you might expect, I was long out of the country when I was told that the front desk team followed protocol. The resort is beautiful, just be careful with the front desk team.

Birthday Trip
It was me and my husbands birthday trip and our second time here. We felt welcomed and special from everyone at the resort. The staff is wonderful: friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I want to specially highlight our dining experience at Codex. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Nicely tucked in away from the rest of the resort, in the woods but still right at the beach. It was my birthday dinner. From the moment we arrived, a friendly hostess seated us at the table overlooking the beach (highly recommend arriving before the sun goes down for the full experience). Our server Christian was the highlight of the night. He was so kind and knowledgeable, he guided us so wonderfully throughout our dining experience. We felt again very special and we thank him for that. An amazing experience across the board and we will be back!
