This place is the ultimate! The grounds, pools, ocean area are spectacular! Checkin was prompt and all employees are beyond helpful. The food prices are quite pricey but we were not disappointed with the quality and delicious flavors. We did a few hours trip into Punta Mita and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Boca Deli. It was fabulous!

Best Beach and Water
Beautiful beach with the best ocean temperature. Enjoyed swimming in the ocean and lounging. Ivan took such care of us out there. From cleaning my sunglasses for me and making sure our drinks were always refilled and our area was always near- he made our visit one to remember. The gals at the Colibri cafe were great and the attention to detail is evident as they are constantly cleaning everything. The most luxurious restaurant, Codex, was romantic and the menu quite authentic and creative. I was not the biggest fan but hubby enjoyed it for the reason that they utilized true, regional ingredients.

Incredible
25 year wedding anniversary was so incredible at The Conrad Punta Mita. All of the staff were so incredibly kind and accommodating. A special shout out to our butler Alberto. He was my right hand man to make sure our experience was the most memorable. He was always there at any time to take special requests. I cannot thank him enough. Also my wife and I absolutely love our “cabana boy”. His charm and service was spectacular. Highly recommend Codex and Casa Teresa for special dinners. 5 star for sure! Pat H

Wonderful resort hotel
Fantastic resort hotel. This place really knows how to make you comfortable and have a good time. From the moment you arrive the staff is warm and welcoming yet still professional and competent. Really beautiful property. Very well maintained even in the hidden areas. Super comfortable room with bed that soothed my back (recovering from recent back surgery). Great housekeeping, room spotless. Asked for an extra blanket and it showed up immediately. Food on property really good with much variety. Have been to other Mexican luxury resorts recently and compared to them, Conrad’s food much better and not insanely expensive. Pool great with loads for grandson to do. Beach beautiful. Considering the size of the property, you don’t feel like your are walking miles and miles to get from one part to another. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Attention to detail is on point
From a warm arrival greeting by Rodrigo to an easy checkin and overview by Gladys to the many staff who attended our every need - Miguel, Felix, and Lizbeth at Arbol; Alonso, Alberto, and Daniel at the beaches and pools; Julio and Perla who made transportation arrangements a breeze; and Hector and Esteban our drivers - we were treated like family at every turn. Incredible service and I won't soon forget these beautiful people. The grounds are immaculate. The rooms are well kept and attended twice per day. The food and drink are very pricey and also very good. The spa - especially the outdoor area - is gorgeous. In short we'd go back in a heartbeat! Some things that travelers and hotel management might find helpful - please note that I rated this stay five stars and I mean that. Anything remotely critical below should be taken in the context of it having had no impact on our absolute enjoyment of our stay. This stay earned every ounce of the five stars...and I rarely give perfect fives. - This resort was very quiet on our trip in mid October. Being only 4 years old and only half of that out of Covid, it's clearly still finding its year-round audience. What impressed me is that it never felt like the resort cut amenities, or offerings due to the lower occupancy. All the restaurants were operational with full menus, spa, drivers, bellmen, pool staff - we never waited for anything or were told "that's not available right now" - This resort is kinda out there and by itself. There's a pretty giant Iberostar resort a hundred yards or so to the south. Other than to stroll (or bike the manicured community and golf course, or up and down the pretty expansive beach, there's nothing else within walking distance. - October is on the tail end of rainy season, and while rainy season makes everything super tropical lush, it also results in more debris finding its way down the watershed and into the ocean....and back onto the beach. If you're into driftwood, there's a bunch of it! Don't get me wrong, there's overwhelmingly a ton of clear sand. To the resort - it's clear that staff works to remove some debris along the hotel's beachfront. It was far clearer here than elsewhere along the beach in front of other properties. This is appreciated! I feel that this could be increased a little more - and be especially vigilant about inorganic debris throughout the day. - There are luxury residences currently being built next door to the south between the Conrad and Iberostar. While the construction crane peeking above the property line was the only imperfect hint of the outside world while on property, it made zero negative impact on our stay. There was no intrusive noise that we noticed. We were on the north side of the property - farthest from the activity. - Pool food and drink prices are a little aspirational in my opinion. A basic non-specialty cocktail with well liquor in a plastic glass that's going to melt before you finish it runs about $18 before tax and tip. As I mentioned before - there's nothing else to walk to. If you're a drinker, I advise bringing your own liquor and an insulated cup. Once you get ice in the room, put the covered ice bucket in the fridge to make it last longer. You'll save hundreds over several pool days. - The pools were very, very warm. In fact, the large hot-tub looking thing at the adult pool was in fact a cool tub. Not a cold plunge (which they do have at the spa) but rather cool water probably in the upper 60s(F) whereas the pool water had to be in the 80s. Couldn't tell you if this varies by season, but on this trip: upper end of warm. - No problem finding chairs at the pool at any time of day. Again, low occupancy. If pool chair stress is a thing for you, come to this hidden gem before more people discover it! Further, the regular ol' pool chairs have exceptionally plush cushions on them. So comfortable - more like individual day beds. Hotel management: keep doing what you're doing with the chairs and service at the pools! - Ubers are super hit and miss. I imagine there is more availability during peak visitor season (Northern hemisphere winter) but we had several instances where we just couldn't get one. We ended up using the hotel's transportation to town which is $24 for the ride there and $34 for the ride back. This is in a nice Suburban or sprinter van. Same price up to six people. Town is about 10min away with some different restaurants and street shopping. For the convenience, comfort and reliability with the spotty Uber response? It was worth it to us. If you do use Uber, I'd recommend using their reserve ahead of time feature which pre-assigns a driver. Uber from the airport is easy. Just be ready to cross the pedestrian bridge. Ubers very much prefer to pick up there. - I reserved under the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts program. This netted me a room upgrade (and in this case it was a terrific upgrade!), late checkout, $100 stay stay resort credit, $38/day resort credit, spa discount, breakfast buffet at Arbol, and an insanely beautiful and delicious chocolate welcome amenity.
