Feb 19, 2025A solid all inclusive resort
The beach was nice and relaxing. The food and drinks were delicious. They had a few scheduled times for sand volleyball that were a good time! Snorkeling was beautiful! We dabbled in a few other activities that meet our expectations.

I stayed at the couples resort for 3 nights, while the staff was extremely friendly I had the following issues with the resort The room, bathroom need a makeover, its old and showing This is a couples resort and they only provide one lounge chair on the deck No bottled water whatsoever Towels at the beach start at 8:30 and they run out of towels 10 minutes later and only get replenished 10:30 No sunscreen at the beach This is only a partial list why this cannot be rated a 5 or 4 star hotel

This place must be one of the most romantic in the world!So beautiful immerse in the nature with the sound of the birds and crickets and the gentle waves!!Rooms very comfortable dinners with candles light ,the whole experience it’s like living a dream!Absolutely coming back to Jamaica and to couples swept away ❤️❤️❤️loving it 100+++

Excellent, clean, fun, friendly resort.
The resort was phenomenal. The landscaping lush with tropical trees and plants. The water was a beautiful blue, the sand white (but not hot to walk on), no rocks or shells or plants in water. The food was excellent, and tiki bars, thumbs up. Many water sports included and food available 24 hours a day. Room service, mini bar refills everyday if you want. The workers are so nice and friendly. Loved it here!!! We took several off grounds excursions and had a great time. Lovely time.

Could and should be much better
The resort does not live up to the website. I fully accept that Caribbean resorts have a charm of their own, based around the beaches, aquamarine sea, relaxed vibe and the “no problem” ethos - Jamaica probably takes all that and amplifies it. The staff are probably the friendliest and happiest I have encountered in all the islands - and we have been to virtually all of the main ones and a few outliers. Therefore it is difficult to say we didn’t enjoy our stay but there are genuine criticisms that need to be addressed in my opinion. The resort is dated, grubby and in many places simply dirty. The rooms and communal spaces are the same. The resort is overdue closure and complete refurbishment including new sun loungers coupled with a system to avoid rising at 06.30 if you want beach loungers with a little shade. There are about 6 ‘palapas’ the permanent sunshades roofed with palm leaves. Everyone else has to drag their sunloungers under the trees to get some respite from the strong sun. Resorts either side have parasols and it is a complete mystery why CSA does not. The food ranges from OK to good, never exceptional and the entertainment much the same. Booking a restaurant is a similarly inadequate system. Tried for 3 days to book for their ‘fine dining’ restaurant “Feathers” and were told each time to ‘come back Monday’ as you can only book 3 days in advance. When my wife did so (at 10 am) she was told it was fully booked and she should have been there at 8am to get a reservation. As we were never told that we didn’t know! Yet I had booked weeks in advance when I was still in the UK for a special occasion. The resort needs proper organisation, top down management review and a complete refurb. Having said all that the beach is fabulous, the sea is wonderful and the staff and people in Jamaica are happy and friendly. Americans seem to love it as it is at most a 3 hour flight and almost everyone we spoke to had revisited 10, 15, 20 and in one case 23 times! So in summary, if you are an early riser, organise reservations for dinner at 8am 3 days prior, can withstand 29c sunshine all day, and happy to stay in a dated and grubby resort you will be happy here. However, Barbados and Antigua are worlds apart and far better for similar money.
