  Unforgettable…

  We celebrated our 25th Anniversary here with our 3 children in 2023 and we absolutely loved it. We were committed to trying something new in 2024 BUT within just over a week from travelling we cancelled that reservation with choice #1 in the same vicinity and paid the extra $ to return to Sensira, anticipating it will be worth it. And it was! It was a safe choice because we knew what we’d be getting. This would be the first time in 20 years of travelling that my wife and I have ever returned to a destination and in consecutive years to boot. 2023’s first impression was such a special all-inclusive experience; the pristine grounds, the culinary presentation and flavours, the activities for our children to occupy themselves with. But with 2024’s experience I feel the need to share the big reason why this resort is very special: the staff. More than a handful of high performing employees remembered us. I wasn’t expecting it, we did nothing special the first time to feel entitled to it. We were always respectful of how hard they worked and always made the effort to make small chit-chat in our interactions with them to diffuse the “feels-like-work” vibe out of their already long days. I won’t mention with specificity which restaurant each staff member was located because they often are moved around. But I will give them a well-deserved praise by name. ~ Oliver - thank you for remembering us. You are laser focused and I see you going places if you choose to advance in future endeavours. We were humbled when you produced cacahuetes - a favorite amongst the kids - after a night of running out of them. Your hustle didn’t go unnoticed. They’re going to make you Supervisor one day. Hever - thank you for remembering us - you always had a calm approach to waiting on us during the hustle & bustle of the breakfast/lunch buffet scene. The bowl of warm citrus water was such a simple gesture yet the most clutch move I’ve seen delivered in all of my all-inclusive experiences (20 years worth of travel). Alejandro - thank you for your professionalism and sense of humour. I now know when thirsty to order two-fingers worth of beverage - the Western at the Rodeo Grill was delightful, thank you for the presentation while I recorded footage! Federico - thank you for your homely hospitality, and providing complimentary suggestions to expand my palate for future orders. Gusto - thank you for connecting with us on a personal level, we’re happy you and your family were able to appreciate our 3 year old’s works of art lol! Elena - thank you for remembering not only us but our order! Your smile was always the perfect way to ease into the morning while you had a London Fog and an espresso doblé brewing while approaching your counter - better service than any Starbucks barista ever. The fruit cups, the ice cream, our kids miss you lots! Catherine - thank for the special fruit bowl for our departure and for the bubbly “Chensira!” every time you welcomed us daily for breakfast and lunch! ~ Apologies for the late review. However, my family’s memories of this tranquil and pristine resort will last forever. Thank you ALL - including to the rest of the staff: the bartenders, servers, entertainment performers, spa practitioners and lifeguard - forgive me for not writing down all your names… from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for the unforgettable experience.

  Sensira Moonlight Show

  Alexa, Iris, Claudia, Abigail, Yaimi, Alvaro, Christian, Edgar, Alex were all great! Very experienced dancers and put on the best Disney show! Smiles on their faces the whole performance. I loved the whole show all-together! Definitely coming back for their next show.

  Beautiful stay at Sensira

  A great experience at Sensira ! Very family oriented and had lots of activities for children. Alex at the Italian restaurant and Ivan at the snack bar were amazing ! Pros: - lots of activities for children (movie theatre, shows, trampoline, pool, gintoni, etc) - kids splash pad - food was amazing and lots of variety - beautiful rooms and views - we treated ourself to the spa and it was absolutely incredible(highly recommend) - a la carte- amazing food - we tried the steak house and Italian Cons: - pool could be warmer - kids club could be a bit cleaner - beach chairs- lacking- had to wake up at 6am to reserve a chair for the day - steak house a la carte- be prepared to wait 2 hours Overall it was a great experience and we had an amazing time!

  Good service bad food , kids all over the place including in the adults only area. No boundaries in place for kids . Not worth t

  Overall a rather disappointing experience. No check and balances are in place, you have kids jumping around in adults only areas , not enough chairs at the pool or at the beach. So hotel guest have to get up early in the morning if they want to sit by the pool or at the beach. The pool water is extremely cold. The food is rather disappointing, extremely bad was the Italian Restaurant and the French. The French had nothing to do with French food and the Italian was most probably the worst in my life, I had the Osso bucco which was a pork knuckle, spaghetti carbonate was totally overcooked and had no taste. Staff is hard working but overall I would pick a different place the next time.

  Great for most, ok for plant based.

  Very nice family resort, we took advantage of the Jade rooms which allowed separation of our kids and us via a connected door. Facilities were as clean, service was great. Couple missteps we noted though; the main pool was out of service when we arrived and for almost half our trip due to maintenance. This was fine, but we should have been notified or informed of that. Also, we selected this resort as we are plant based / vegan, and they had vegan menus. The resort boasts a culinary experience, but we found that all of most, not all, of the vegan dishes were an afterthought - menu felt like it was mostly designed by a meat eater. The Galerie des Sens had no vegan food options, nor did the teahouse. Overall I would recommend it if you aren't vegan, but if you are, I think they need some work on the gastronomic experience, which is the reason I selected the hotel, I didn't just want food, I wanted to experience good and creative food.
