THE WORST EXPERIENCE
We had the absolute worst experience at this Hotel. This place is a complete disappointment, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The staff here are blatantly colorist and discriminate against Hispanics. Unless you look American, they treat you like you don't exist, no acknowledgment, no service, nothing. We were denied bar service at the lobby because we were in a bikini, yet just minutes later we witnessed how an American looking guy, shirtless and dripping wet, was happily served drinks without a second thought. During breakfast, I had to get up and ask for coffee myself because the waiter ignored me three times even after I raised my hand, she completely pretended I wasn't there. Meanwhile, all the other Americans seated around us were offered coffee multiple times without having to ask. To make matters worse, the room wasn't ready for a couple in our group. We spoke to Pedro, the general manager, in hopes of him helping us. Instead, he lied to our face, claiming they don't commit to how many beds are in a room, they only reserve based on the room view. That's nonsense because you specifically pay for a king bed or double beds on their website. He dragged his feet until 9pm to offer them another room. Why so late?? Clearly, he was waiting to make sure no one else rented it first. Yet, when a room for a lighter skin couple in our group wasn't ready, they immediately got an upgrade for the inconvenience, no hesitation, no excuses. The double standards, dishonesty, and lack of accountability are outrageous. Little did they know this couple was part of our group... oh and they were also Hispanic!! It is infuriating and honestly ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs! Shout out to Vicky, a barista, the ONLY ONE that made us feel welcomed <3

Servicio mal

Too much horrible music everywhere
The view from the rooms is fantastic. The music impeded the listening of the waves…. Impossible to find a calm place to read. The activities are limited (no Pilate, dance classes or Spanish class that they have in other places) The food is good, but not excellent. Paradise restaurant is the best, and Hipolito the restaurant jefe is formidable!

Nice, but check what you paid for
Nicer place than some. One star review because they switched the room for a cheaper choice without notice after we paid for a suite upgrade and acted like they didn’t speak English when we asked to settle the upgrade difference. Located close enough to take an Uber from the airport instead of getting sucked into the WAY over the top cost of shuttle websites push.
