Horrible service. Hilton Diplomat in Ft Laudredale. Haven’t had room service in 2 days despite talking to the manager Rohan B last night. We have been using dirty towels and sheets for day #3 now. We all have options, last time using this place and would definitely not recommend.

My family and I stayed at this hotel.It was absolutely wonderful.The concierge, Joe, was phenomenal. Don't hesitate to stay at this hotel. You will not regret it. The room had a beautiful view. Nice and clean and the food is delicious. You can walk to the beach.

Very disappointed with the trip this year. The shallow pool was closed on the first floor for construction, which disappointed my 5 year old. The closure meant very limited seating in the main pool. What's the point of upgrading to an ocean view room, if you have the constant sound of jackhammering starting at 8am and continuing throughout the day? Notified the hotel and their answer was construction is posted in their website. Rooms were same price as last year but unfortunately the experience wasn't the same.

Diplomat Hallandale Beach perfect get away for us
We got an ocean front room for our vacation. This is our favorite beach front hotel in the Miami area. We checked with the front desk; Bernard assisted us in getting an ocean view room. Wouldn’t have been possible without his helpThe staff was excellent. Jimmy at the breakfast bistro called the Counter Point, made excellent lattes for us! Also Jorge, the concierge, Gloria, Juan Carlos, and Bernard assisted us during our stay. We also were assisted by a Mike Liasitu with a room issue. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Diplomat Disappoints
Valet tried to upsell me to a VIP Valet package and the upgrade was a separate business from the hotel requiring an upfront payment. Sketchy! I booked a king, oceanfront, balcony, high floor room. The room is dated and in need of an upgrade. LOUD construction everyday from 7:30am – 4:30pm! Ruined relaxing by the pool and even on balcony. Room service was VERY limited and expensive though delivered fast. Upon departure, I requested a printed and emailed copy of my receipt. I never received the email. I reviewed the bill and discovered the daily resort fee had NOT been removed as promised. I left a message for the accounting department. They called back and removed the charges. I again, asked for an email copy of the updated invoice and did NOT receive it. A day later, I was contacted again to ensure my message had been answered. I asked this third person to email me a copy and they did. We confirmed my email address was correct. I NEVER received it. There seems to be an issue with the system so I would highly recommend getting the printed version upon check-out. It might be on the only copy you received.
