Jan 31, 2026great place with one exception
We love staying their nice people, great location, fun, but I had 1 problem last year. We booked thru Rci the Divi villas, which are more points then regular Divi Phoenix and have what my wife loves watching on the balcony, sunset.. My wife was recovering from a stroke, so this was her nice, relaxing vacation that she loves in Aruba. When we checked in, they put us in the other location, the Divi Phoenix less points and no view of the sunset on the bottom floor. I complained every day for 3 days, stating we paid for a point in the Villas, but nobody helped us. The 4th day, a manager apologized to us and put us where we belonged and paid for, but the damage was done. My wife was so upset that we escaped all the hustle and bustle from home to get it back here. When we got home, I called the manager for some type of reimbursement for up to 4 days of staying in a lesser point room. The person who did not help us was rude. We were thinking of looking into purchasing there, but now I don't know the way we were treated. I called RCI, they agreed there were wrong and helped us, which the Divi couldn't. My wife still loves the Divi Phoenix is giving them another chance as were going back November 29 through December 7 as we booked the DIVI VILLAS at the Phoenix I called to make sure the put us in the Villas that we paid by points to stay I hope somebody reads this and contacts us as my wife is very loyal to the Divi Phoenix I hope the return the favor. We had another amazing vacation at the Divi Phoenix! We look forward to visiting every year and feel very welcomed when we come. A few special mentions are for Joel who helped us set up our chairs every morning. These guys work very hard to ensure the guests are comfortable and taken care of. Secondly, Sandra Mora at the towel bar. She is so welcoming and greeted us with a smile, conversation and well wishes every morning! Lastly, I had the most amazing massage at Pure Indulgence Spa with Andres! We look forward to our return next year to see all our friends at the Phoenix!

Outstanding vacation
We just finished a 5 night stay at the Divi Phoenix. My family and I had an absolutely excellent trip. One of the highlights was the exceptional service of the beach/pool staff specifically Juan, Ariel, Joel, and Julio. These gentlemen were incredible - they work super hard, always had an excellent attitude, and where there to help my family and I with anything we needed. You gentlemen made our trip and we will be back because of you guys! Great overall hotel.

Jan 19, 2026Great Resort, Needs a Front Desk Staff Overhaul
The positives - beautiful pool, ocean front, very nice property and great restaurant and bar staff. Concierge is excellent - helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. Towel shack people and activities folks are great! The negatives - the front desk staff - something is always incorrect and the front desk staff seems like they could care less about broken items in room, problems with check-in or check-out, etc. Most do not understand customer service at all with a few exceptions. It starts at the top, management is no where to be found.
