Very good resort BUT......
The Pros: The view from our room was beautiful (we stayed in Oceans); the pool and beach were great; the food was pretty good; the staff were so friendly. I've seen other comments complaining about rude staff and my experience was exactly the opposite. The cons: housekeeping was spotty - they wouldn't come for days and when they came, services were incomplete. Like they would make the beds but omit the top sheet on one of the beds. Or they would bring towels but no shampoo/conditioner and the room was out of toilet paper and they didn't bring any. But when we rang the front desk to ask for the things that were missed, they were responsive, so not a big deal. The main thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that the resort is open to the public, not just those who are staying there. Locals and people off the cruise ships. On one day that it was particularly busy (a TON of cars lining the streets outside of the security gate at the resort entrance) we got harassed by a man who approached and wanted to talk about Jesus and would not leave us alone. Later on he and another man were hitting on my 12 year old daughter and would not stop. We were so uncomfortable we left the beach and for the rest of the week my daughter only wanted to use the pool, she didn't feel comfortable/safe on the beach. So that was really disappointing. The resort is not exactly cheap and this was upsetting. It would be good on very busy days if there could be a security presence on the beach, a hotel employee walking the beach. Or have a rope line up and have half the beach be for those staying at the resort. (I'm not just being overly sensitive; what we experienced was enough for a couple of people we had met at the resort to approach and ask us if we were ok).

My experience at Divi Recently.
As loyal guests of Divi for many years, we’ve always considered it our second home. The warmth of the staff and the familiar faces have been a big part of why we keep coming back. However, during our current stay, we’ve witnessed behavior from Paul Melkien, the Food and Beverage Director, that is deeply troubling. We've observed what appeared to be harassment and, in some cases, inappropriate physical contact with employees. How can Paul melkien be this vicious.why did the company BRING HIM BACK to harass and try to get rid of staff members who make our stay special. It’s painful to see hardworking staff, who go out of their way to make our stay special, being treated this way. They deserve respect and support—not intimidation. If this is the direction Divi is heading, with management acting this way, then something is seriously wrong. We’re still here for one more week, hoping to see signs that this behavior will not be tolerated. Otherwise, we’ll be considering one of the other Divi locations—where both guests and staff are treated with care and dignity. To all fellow guests: it’s the people who make this place feel like home. Let’s not stay silent when they’re being mistreated.

Group trip for birthday celebration
The staff was amazing to us! Special shout out to Edrick, Mimi, and Colin for going above and beyond! The views are beautiful and Divi Oceans rooms were amazing! All of the food was delicious, especially at The Shack. They also have a doggie there named Riley who wandered up as a stray that they adopted, and she's the sweetest girl ❤️ We all had an amazing and unforgettable experience!!! Will return

A really nice timeshare resort.
This resort has everything you need to enjoy your holiday, however it is remote. It is a 20 mins walk to off site grocery stores. (I found the onsite shop overly expensive.) The pavements outside the resort are terrible and no good if you have limited mobility or pushchairs etc. I enjoyed the beach with free beds for guests, sea swimming and the spectacular views. A short hill walk takes you to Fort Amsterdam and amazing views of the bays and the pelican nesting site. The apartment was nicely appointed, however there is no kettle. I asked if any were available and the next day a whistling hob kettle was brought. At the welcome drinks, the manager came round asking if anything could improve our stay. I asked if she could get the jacuzzi fixed please. She explained some jacuzzis are very old and no spare parts. An engineer arrived the next morning and got it going but as it was so old I noticed many tiny flakes of worn metal being churned in the water so didnt use. I booked a trip with the activity centre and found there was a 5% credit card surcharge. Suggest you book on line instead. Also if you choose a cheap trip first you may get a 10% voucher a couple of days later for another trip. I also had a great day out with Amigo Tours who I used for the transfers. The resort will happily shuttle people about the resort in a golf buggy but I would say the country itself is not ideal if you have limited mobility. Its a bit of a concrete jungle out there when away from the resort. The resort itself is lovely and quiet though. Really relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The ribs in Gizmos were delicious but I had to cook my own tuna on 'lava rocks' in Sea Breeze and warm up th jacket potato which had gone cold. I wanted to compare Sint Maartin with St Martins in the Isle of Scilliy in Uk. Both have lovely timeshare resorts in nice locations but St Martins in th UK wins me over as the whole island is beautiful with only a handful of cars.

A Day well Spent!
Dave was an excellent tour guide. He was friendly, funny, and made our experience in St. Maarten a hit. He was flexible with our stops, we added an extra hour so we could see more things , and he took us to the best place for lunch. Highly recommend!
