  Great Stay with a Few Hiccups

  We had a wonderful stay at your resort, and while there were a few minor issues, the overall experience was fantastic. I’d like to share some highlights and feedback from our visit. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Jesus, our bellhop. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to ensure we had a smooth check-in experience. Throughout our stay, Jesus continued to impress us with his positive attitude and genuine interest in how we were enjoying the resort. He is truly an asset to your team. Our check-in at the Preferred Club was quick and efficient. We were assisted by Daniel, who was incredibly welcoming and impressed us with his bartending skills. We also spent time in the Preferred Lounge in the evenings and were delighted by Isaac’s exceptional service. He made outstanding cocktails—especially his signature BAK shooter and martinis—and was always friendly and engaging. Isaac’s hospitality created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere in the lounge. Our swim-out room was beautiful and spacious, with all the amenities we needed, including cozy housecoats and a well-stocked fridge. The pool was perfect—not too cold, as some reviews had mentioned—and the kids loved starting their mornings with steam rising off the water. Housekeeping did a great job keeping our room tidy, and any requests, such as for coffee, and special pillows were fulfilled promptly. Room service, while convenient, was sometimes delayed, particularly when orders were placed through the app. We were advised to call directly instead, and this improved the service. Despite this, having mimosas with breakfast delivered to our room was a lovely touch. The resort’s Christmas celebrations were a highlight of our stay. From The Grinch making his rounds to Santa arriving in a dune buggy, the festivities were magical and brought smiles to the kids’ faces. The Christmas Eve buffet was delicious, offering comforting holiday dishes like turkey and mashed potatoes, which were much appreciated by my husband. The dining experiences varied: Buffet: Breakfast was excellent with fresh eggs and omelettes. Dinner, while offering a wide variety, could have been served hotter. Barefoot Grill: Quick, kid-friendly lunches of burgers, fries, hot dogs, and nachos were a hit. Mexican Restaurant: The food was good, but service was slower than expected, which was challenging with children. Oceana: Lunch was outstanding, with fresh beet salad, fish tacos, and ceviche. However, dinner was disappointing. Thankfully, management addressed our concerns and made up for the experience, which we appreciated. Italian Restaurant: Great food and even better service from Francesco, who was knowledgeable and entertaining. Coco Café and Dolce: Both offered fantastic treats and excellent service. The coffee, pastries, gelato, and desserts were delightful. A special mention goes to the private dinner and wine tasting in the Wine Cellar. Arturo and Raphael provided an unforgettable four-course meal paired with exceptional wines. This was a standout experience that we will always cherish. We also enjoyed a round of golf at the Estrella Golf Course, which was stunning. As Preferred Club members, we appreciated the complimentary round. The rental clubs were decent, and we were fortunate to be paired with experienced players who helped us navigate the course. Finally, I want to commend Marcos at the pool bar. He made our stay extraordinary with his humor, attentiveness, and incredible service. He was quick to notice an empty glass and ensured we always had a fresh drink. His efforts truly enhanced our poolside experience. While there were some minor issues—such as delays with room service and slow service at the Mexican restaurant—the staff’s responsiveness and the overall quality of the resort far outweighed them. Thank you for a memorable stay. We look forward to visiting Dreams Estrella again in the future!

  Dinner at wine Cellar Cava Don Julio

  The experience in CAVA was amazing. We celebrated a wedding and the service was exceptional. The wait staff were fantastic Arturo, Genaro, Jose, Rafael, and Paola Every dish came compared with a glass of wine and if you don’t drink, I’ll recommend an alcoholic beverage.

  Amazing Food and Service

  We had an intimate dinner for my cousins wedding at the resort at Caba de Julio, and the service and food was absolutely phenomenal. They made an already special event feel even more special! I will definetly be coming back! The manager Arturo, waiter Genaro and Jose, and chef Rafa and Edgar, and the assistant Paola were fantastic!

  Dream resort Oceana Restaurant

  This hotel experience has been amazing which has everything to do with the incredible employees. I would like to highlight the oceana restaurant today. The staff is friendly , accommodating , professional, kind, caring and they go above and beyond . The Oceana restaurant was a wonderful experience which we chose to visit on multiple occasions during or stay. This restaurant was beautifully decorated, clean and welcoming . Above and beyond; the food is delicious. The head chef carlos created delicious dishes throughout our week stay. Nava, one of the amazing staff members should be especially recognized for his customer service, kindness, leadership and role in creating a wonderful and pleasurable experience each and everytime we visited this memorable restaurant on the resort. We are impressed and pleased to write this review to highlight some of the staff which made our stay at Dream Resort so wonderful.

  A+++ service

  It was my first time in Mexico and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The staff is super attentive and always made sure we were taken care of. the restaurants, bartenders, and pool staff were all amazing. A few names I have to mention are Yulissa, Angel, and Santiago. Great service and great people! I definitely will be back!
