This was our first all inclusive experience. We booked on points using Hyatt and Chase Ultimate Rewards. We were originally booked in a room in building 2 which was really dirty - stains on all the bedding, ripped sheets, hair all over the bathtub, it was outdated and smelled musty. We got upgraded to a room in building 7 which was obviously the much newer side of the resort where Premium rooms were. Attention to detail was still really lacking - sticker marks on mirrors and glass - glass bulb for lighting fixtures covered in styrofoam, plaster from patio ceiling peeling and falling into the hot tub. The whole property is in desperate need of power washing, you can just tell its dated and the weather is rough on it. Overall, the food was fine - the italian restaurant was our favorite. I was disappointed none of the main restaurants were open for lunch. Getting a reservation at the Hibachi experience was a pain. The guys bringing drinks at the pool were the nicest and most attentive of the food/drink staff bc they were tipped daily and got to know you. The weather was great, we went with an 18 month old who enjoyed the shallow heated pool (I wish there was a kids section with a small slide and some splash pad area) but he was young enough it didn't matter much - overall we had a decent time but I wouldn't waste my money/points going back.

Mar 20, 2025It was an overall fun few days on the resort campus.
It was better than anticipated for the overall experience. The all-inclusive is nice, but it came at the cost of very slow bartending and adequate food. The facilities were above expectations. They were very accommodating to the few hundred 18-year-old spring breakers.

The resort deserves 5 stars and so does the staff. Everybody is very friendly and accommodates the guests with outstanding service. The restaurants serve great food and we loved especially the French restaurant with Dailey the host. But even the gardeners and outdoor keepers are great. No complaints from start to finish.

Exceeded our expectations
First time staying at a Dreams resort, and we were extremely satisfied with our Preferred level stay. The accommodations, amenities, customer service and overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would return to this Dreams resort and/or stay at another.
