Dec 19, 2024Dreams???!!! Not so much.....
One of the worst experiences we have had since joining Unlimited Vacation Club. This is the first time we used a Dreams location because we were trying to use our VIP weeks and we could not choose Secrets because we would not have been able to bring other family members to those locations,because of the 2 for 1 rule. Anyway, we have a'Preferred type access' and usually when checking-in the concierge will escort us to our rooms and make sure things are okay, show us where the mini-bar is, how the HVAC works, etc. Not this time, opened the door to the office and pointed in the direction of where our rooms were located. We reserved our rooms 7 to 8 months ago, 'Garden View', and received one of the worst views we have ever had, swamp and overgrown brush outside. We voiced our displeasure with our room the next morning but were told nothing else was available. When we purchased our current package a couple of years ago it's always mentioned that there may be a possible upgrade. We have been a member for at least 5 years and never have received a complimentary upgrade. I must say that overall the buffet was very good and the TEPPANYAKI was excellent and served with a very large portion (shout out to MIGUEL). CIN CIN was okay and my family was hoping that their seafood combo dish was going to be a great seafood dish, but were highly disappointed because the serving was very, very small. To be that close to the ocean, we always hope that the seafood selection would be better, but usually not so. Housekeeping was hit or miss. The basics were pretty good with cleaning the bathroom and replacing the tools, but not so much with staying on top of the mini-bar. Entertainment is always a hit or miss at most of these resorts. And this time it was a miss. Facilities are somewhat dated and looks like they are in the process of beginning to renovate the place. Headboard in our room was scuffed and stained. Maybe it's the type of service that is customary for Dreams locations, but we usually have much better service at Secrets.

Miguel was amazzzzzzing.the service was really good and I would come back defentily.my name is also Miguel so I knew from the start it was going to be good.The chicken and rice was really good and way better then our mom and dads fried rice. overall we loved it.😄

We dined at spice! Miguel was our favorite hibachi chef maybe ever. And we are very seasoned (pun intended) with hibachi. We loved the experience. Wow. Wonderful! We love Miguel Overall wonderful Highly recommend!!!!!!!!! Very fun evening

Miguel habatci chef is phenomenal and very entertaining!! We went with our 12 person family and he was very personal and cracking lots of jokes. Very professional yet fun. Lots of good memories. Always something to watch and we have been to a lot of habatcis and there was still plenty of new tricks and jokes

Amazing Show
BEST SHOW EVER, we love miguel hes the best chef at spice!!!!!!!!! SO SO SO good we loved the chicken and the show, he was very good with connecting to the audience. Thr bird sounds sounded so real!!!!! Im coming back tomorrow night and yhe night after that. Thank YOU SO MUCH CAMILA WAS SO TASTY
