Good in Parts!
The hotel has a number of good points. Our Junior Suite was a bit tired in places but had a very good bed and was spacious, and it entitled us to membership of the Preferred Club (PC) which gave us special treatment in several areas. We ate the excellent breakfast in a room reserved for PC members, so avoided the hassle of the general breakfast room. We dined twice in the hotel’s Spanish Restaurant which was good, but had two disappointing dinners in the Buffet. PC membership also entitled us to use a sun bathing area above the pool but unfortunately it came with “music”, in fact not music at all but repetitive “dum dum, dum dum…..”. When I asked the guy in charge if he could turn it down or better still turn it off altogether, he refused, and suggested if I didn’t like it I should go and sit elsewhere! I was taken aback by this response but my complaint to Reception went unanswered. I would add that the hotel firmly believes that in the restaurants we want to listen to its choice of “music”, reminiscent of the situation in UK shops etc many years ago, which didn’t last very long. Apart from this unfortunate episode, the staff were generally very good. So in conclusion I would advise anyone staying at the hotel to stick to B&B and eat out at the numerous good restaurants within easy reach. My wife and I will not be returning.

Holiday jan25
Lovely hotel but service is one of the worst we have experienced. If your fully inclusive albeit good value they just avoid serving you. I’m sitting here now and it’s been nearly 50mins and we haven’t even had our starters. Lava bar, slow and rude staff. Mini bar not been stocked up

Not what it was…
We stayed here last year and it was excellent. Naturally, we booked to return as we visit Tenerife for some winter sun every year. What’s happened? It’s like a different hotel. Our first room was down in the lower part of the hotel. Lift broken, no view and it was dirty. Bugs in the room and hairs and dust everywhere. A bit of a dungeon. We complained and were moved to a room on a higher floor. Better, but still not what one would expect from a hotel claiming 4 star status and charging accordingly. Smallish room and a dirty bathrobe greeted us. We won’t stay here again nor shall we recommend to others. You need to sort this out or list yourself as more of a budget hotel. We will also complain to British Airways (who we booked through) and suggest they remove you from their luxury listing. This is no longer a luxury hotel…it’s mediocre at best. Avoid.

Great hotel but the rooms need improvement
We first visited the hotel in 2024 and had a great holiday and really enjoyed the hotel. So there was no hesitation in booking for 2025. However our experience was definitely not as good as the previous visit. The positives of our holiday - the warm welcome when we arrived - the breakfast choice and food (although it is understaffed and chaotic when busy) - the sunset bar. Always a great way to finish the afternoon looking over the water with a cocktail and nice music - the nice gestures to recognise my birthday and welcome us as returning guests - most importantly the staff are amazing The negatives - the room, although similar to our last visit, was really disappointing in its maintenance. Specifically, patio doors that were broken with a makeshift repair. Doors were difficult to open/ close. TV bracket broken so TV largely faced the floor! Wardrobe door broken and off the runner. The panel on bathroom door was hanging off (later fixed). Mould around the sealant in the shower. Aircon was awful and never kept the room at an ambient temperature and we never had a decent. nights sleep! Bedsheets that have seen better days! - we also had a poor experience in the bar where we struggled to find a seat. Having eventually found one we gave up after 20mins after being unable to get a drink - bar staff were constantly busy and waiters never came near us! We would love to come back to the hotel but would need a big dose of reassurance that the room was of a better standard. However full marks to the staff who make your holiday great. Despite the room we found most of the hotel pleasant and loved the sunset bar. So signing off on a positive note.

really good overall...breakfast service could be improved !!
Overall a great hotel...it is very clean and again overall the staff are excellent, very helpful and efficient The breakfast in the hotel main buffet was not the best experience.....the food is great...super range and choices and quality is excellent but the service at breakfast was mainly chaotic to say the least....they are certainly understaffed at various times during the morning...I appreciate that it is difficulty during really busy times but that is how i found it in the evening the service was much better...and important to note that service throughout the hotel apart form breakfast was excellent great location great range of restaurants over and above the buffet. Our room was lovely and with a great view...although if booking a sea view try and ask the hotel for floors 7, 8 or 9 as floor six is not as high as you imagine...reception is on floor 5 and view form six is good but a room on 7 or 8 would have a better view
