Apr 17, 2025Wonderful stay in beautiful Costa Rica
What a wonderful week in paradise. Check in was smooth and easy. Our room was nice with a great view. We had monkeys come and visit our balcony a couple of days, which was fantastic. The pools are huge and clean. The waterside was so fun. We never had a problem getting loungers but we were not there during March break so maybe they go faster for that week. A variety of restaurants with delicious food and great service. Everyone working hard from service to ground keepers. Went on 2 amazing excursions which I highly recommend. We really enjoyed the nightly entertainment. The silent dance party was so much fun. The dancers got my preteen daughter to go on stage and dance with them which she loved. Maybe I am easy to please but coming from a cold place to a week of perfect weather and no work to be with my family and relax couldn’t have gone any better. I would definitely go back again ❤️

This was a redemption trip for UVC. They failed miserably for the second time in 2025. Beautiful resort. Better than average staff with the exception of housekeeping. A few problems with the room and one that required maintenance workers to be in the room at least eight hours over four days . With a day left they offered to change the room. While we were there a company called Zones was having a sales retreat. Upon their arrival service to existing guests decreased considerably.

Good points Staff are friendly Rubbish points Smelly room had to turn off air con and go to the fan towels couldn’t dry Nothing in the complimentary room fridge for my wife unless she wants to drink Stella lager Not all restaurants open every night and some you have to wear long pants ……36 degrees really??? The weekends are taken over by locals and there massive inflatables the pools being cut in half for there pool volleyball Not everything explained at check in some pools and sun beds cost an extra 50$ rip off My advice would be not to stay here which is such a shame as the first week in Costa Rica was superb this is a pretend resort never ever ever 5 stars

Apr 13, 2025Luxury cost but not a luxury resort...
Room was dated but clean. Shower only had overhead rain head which is a pain if your not washing your hair. A handheld would be nice in the shower. Housekeeping did a fantastic job each day. Don't bother with room service. It is convenient to order from the app but food quality is poor. Pool area was nice and staff great. I usually walked the beach early morning to avoid all the excursion, massage sales, and vendors. Heard it was being sold and possible renovated which the property is in need of. Overall a bit tired and dated for our taste and the price.

The best honeymoon at Dreams
We went to Dreams Las Mareas for our honeymoon in March 2025. We had the best time - all the staff were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. There is a good selection of restaurants and the food was really good! We visited the spa while at the hotel which was wonderful!! We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend to others!
