Mar 10, 2025March 2025: Great Stay with a Few Areas for Improvement
Our stay at the resort was a fantastic experience overall. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the staff was welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. The property and accommodations were clean, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Dining options were plentiful, with a great variety of themed restaurants, the World Café, and convenient poolside grills. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The check-in process could be more efficient, and better communication about daily activities and the resort layout would enhance the guest experience. The different pool sections weren’t clearly explained, which could be confusing for first-time visitors. While the property initially appears to be in great condition, a closer look reveals areas in need of maintenance. If not addressed soon, these issues could become a bigger concern, which is disappointing to see. Despite these minor drawbacks, we had a wonderful time and would still recommend the resort for its friendly service, delicious food, and relaxing ambiance.

The room and view were great, the food in the restaurants was average. The staff wasn't as friendly as other places I've visited. The biggest negative is there is only one bar open after 6pm other than the restaurants and it has limited staff and seating. It's an all inclusive resort however they limit you to four bears in your room fridge per day. It was a beautiful setting, would consider going again if there were more options available after 6 pm.

Amazing Resort!
Our group of friends goes to an all-inclusive resort every year. This was our first time in Costa Rica, and the resort was amazing! We loved the scenery, pools, food, views, staff, and wildlife. The drive from the airport is a little long (1.5 hours), but many beach resorts are further away from the airport. The monkeys are amusing to watch. You can hear all kinds of birds throughout the day. It's wonderful to listen to. The only bad experience was falling on the slippery tiles at the pool. This happened to one of our group members a couple of times, and we saw several other people fall, also. I know there is a lot of alcohol flowing, but these falls were due to the tiles being so slippery when they were wet. Myself and the rest of my group would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

A Nice Hotel but room for approvment in some areas
We had a lovely room but were disappointed with the location. We booked a tropical view room I was expecting to have view of the lush trees but our room looked on to the gym, there was a small tree shielding the view so that people in the gym couldn't see us but we ended up never using the balcony. (Room 5627). We seemed to have issues with the housekeeping services, some days no towels, the room wasn't cleaning and they didn't check we had bodywash and had to call them out on multiple occasions which was wasn't what we expected for what we had paid for this hotel. The resort is very beautiful and clean and tidy. the staff were very friendly our only comment on that would be that we didn't appreciate the sales chat we we were checking in after a very long journey we just needed to use the toilet and get a drink not to be signed up for some meeting to be spoken to about timeshares. The pools were nice and we had no problems getting a sunbed each morning but by about 9am most of them are gone or have towels on to reserve them. We enjoyed most of the restaurants we tried and I personally enjoyed being able to have a omelette freshly cooked each morning at the buffet. Some of the entertainment was good and some not so good. There seemed to be activities going on that you could take part in during the day and we took advantage of the guided walk with Antonio one morning which was really nice. I made use of the gym each morning at 6am and found it to be very good with enough equipment to do a good workout. On the whole we did enjoy our week at the hotel we just felt that there was some room for improvement for the price we paid.

Mar 09, 2025Absolutely amazing resort! Wonderful vacation.
This resort is wonderful. Well appointed rooms, fantastic service and delicious food and beverages. The grounds are lush and full of wildlife (2 types of monkeys, iguanas, birds, zorrillos (similar to a skunk), & mapaches (similar to racoons). There were lots of options for tours and the spa. And they had daily entertainment events. The only negative was they charge an added fee of $70 daily to enjoy lounges with umbrellas and the sun beds around the various pools. Othewise, we absolutely loved everything else about the resort.
- AdvisoryStudent Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room. This could refer to but not limited to high school students or college students booking multiple rooms. The hotel reserves the right to deny lodging to any reservations of this type.
