Overall a VERY good resort. Things that we loved: Friendly attentive staff at restaurants/poolside/bars/beach/hotel/coffee shop/smoothie shop. Cafe line up always went quickly, never had to wait for a drink at the bar also. VERY good food....great poolside chicken wings, seared tuna, smoked salmon, omlettes. Guacomole and nacho chips almost always available. Nice outdoor luncheons oceanside at the Bluewater Grill. They need to install fishline across open areas to keep seagulls away from used tables. Comfortable bed and clean room, everything up to par. Good efforts in creating fun themes in the evening, Oscar night, Fire show, silent dance party, great singers in lobby. Fun waterslide for all ages Fun pickleball and tennis (Racquets/paddles available) although lines for pickleball are in chalk. 20 to 30 min ride from airport to resort things to improve: Allow restaurant reservations as otherwise you have to get your name in quite early Need cushions for ALL loungers and more portable umbrellas for shade. Allow for more time at pool with easy listening music versus way too loud pop/rock/club music Quite a bit of seaweed on the beach and in ocean water. They do try to clear regularly but we didn't go in the ocean as much as usual due to this. allow everyone to reserve tents at least once a week at no charge rather than charging. Only one pool for regular guests, would be nice if adult only pool included regular guests not just upgraded "preferred status" guests. Shows were good but too early for those that dined later. Shows should be at 9 or 9:30 p.m. not 8:30. Free bike tour to the city was fun although a little bumpy in parts. Need to replace all bikes as they are too small. We would return again !!! 9/10 !

Loved the entire resort, it is beautiful. The beaches were clean, they truly cater to their guests. The beds were very comfortable, best pillows. The restaurants and servers were super friendly and welcoming. I also wish to thank Israel M of Adventure photography for his professional and beautiful photos. Our family now has some cherished memories. He comes highly recommended.

A great time overall
Overall loved our experience as a family with preteen kids. Our room, 907, was at the back of the property which offered wonderful quiet and seclusion and a walk through the jungle to get to the main areas, which was always a treat. If you like the party vibe stay closer to the front beach area; that said we were happy where we were. Sandra, our housekeeper, was so attentive and helpful; anything we requested came quickly. Oliva at the front desk was just the loveliest and made us feel so welcomed; Mar and Tony, both part of the activities team, were wonderful during the (free) excursions- we went sea kayaking and did the bike tour to town; enjoyed both. Loved doing yoga every morning as well. The resort is clean and well maintained, staff were overall incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. Our kids loved the kids pool and game room. As others have said, food was mostly average with some exceptions (there were some delicious options at El Patio, Himitsu, Portofina and Bordeaux). Loved the number of restaurant options for dinner, would have loved a few more options for breakfast and lunch. Definitely go snorkeling on the Great Maya Reef, it's magical. Overall, truly a great time, 4.5 stars.

Amazing Trip 🤩
We love jose, omar, tony, and jamie! They are all so kind and made our trip even more memorable. My favorite food was the hibachi grill! The fried rice and fried ice cream was to die for. The whole crew was so kind and tried their very best to make our trip amazing! The beach was clean and beautiful as well as the pools and rooms.

Beautiful resort. However, very expensive and for the price point there are better options. Check-in/checkout times were long. Rooms needed maintenance. My balcony was covered in bird poop the whole time . Plates were around the resort and not picked up. I think if you are in their VIP program or a wedding guest, then this is a great resort for you. If you’re visiting as a family or a couple then you’ll be relegated to second class behind those groups above.
