Amenities were clean & well-kept. Beds were comfy. Staff was phenomenal. I preferred eating at the buffet (World Cafe) for meals for the variety & convenience & food options were great. Not a big drinker, but the few mixed drinks i had were tasty (only tip…..ask for double or triple to make it equivalent to the”actual” alcohol content a drink should have.) Met my expectations of an all-inclusive resort. Was not disappointed.

Beautiful, relaxing resort perfect for a couples getaway
My boyfriend and I went to Dreams to celebrate our dating anniversary, and the experience did not disappoint. We were greeted by the friendly staff and given towels to refresh as well as a welcome drink. The check in process was very smooth. Our junior suite room was roomy and comfortable. The staff decorated our room with a Happy Anniversary banner on the door, and also left chocolates and a bottle of champagne for us. That gesture was very much appreciated. House keeping kept our room nice and tidy, even making our bed twice in one day. The food was excellent in my opinion, and probably some of the best food I've had at an all inclusive resort. Hugo, our server at El Patio, and Jose, our server for our romantic dinner on the beach, really elevated our experience as they were very attentive and pleasant. The pools were great and the staff also hosted a water Zumba class which was fun. I loved that the beach was right there. There was just a lot of seaweed on the shore, but they did have efforts to clean it up. We also booked a spa appointment. The massage was much needed and very relaxing. They used heat packs, which helped with relaxation and my muscle aches from all the walking during the excursions we went on. Abigail helped uswith our hydrotherapy session, and she was great. Overall, Dreams really was a dream and I would definitely consider coming back.

The grounds are beautiful. The hotel is older - but very clean. The food is ok. The beach area where you can swim isn't as large as I was expecting. The staff are very friendly. High end alcohol is shown on the shelves ... but you watch your drink being made - cheaper booze is used in your drinks ...

We were a little concerned after reading reviews but we booked anyway and are happy we did! We had a great time at Dreams, the customer service was amazing, we were very satisfied with the food and the beach… the beach was absolutely beautiful! The hotel is a bit dated and there is a musty smell, but they are constantly working on improving the hotel. I would recommend booking here for your stay in Tulum. We will be returning in the future!

Overall good, but Leisure cash is a scam.
Went in February, the resort grounds are beautiful. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, but old. Noisy fan, jet tub that had brown guck come out of it. Booze is watered down, and top shelf liquor is in no way top shelf. Overall a good experience though as the food was good and the beach was nice. We sat through the sales pitch for timeshares, as we wanted more information, but they’re so aggressive that we were put off. Went to use the leisure cash they gave us for attending at the gift store, and we were charged full price for our items, they did not take the leisure cash off the total. The receipt shows so many transactions marked only with a code known to them, so we did not realize how much we paid until we saw our Visa statement. Be cautious, better yet, don’t sit through the presentation.
