Great customer service. Amazing food, the complex was very clean, smelled very good, the location of the hotel was very convenient and the front desk was very Knowledgeable.

Apr 20, 2025Acceptable hotel in heart of Santo Domingo
The hotel was very clean and located in a safe setting in Santo Domingo. Hotel had nice gardens and pool. Hotel food was tasty although service was slow. Room were fairly clean with large, clean soaking tubs. The drawback for me was noise from people walking on the floors above. I asked for a room change in the middle of the night but was moved down a floor and the new room was noisier and lasted until about 2 AM. The second night the noise ended earlier, about midnight. I believe the hotel has old wooden beams. The beds themselves were clean and comfortable so if noise from people walking doesn’t bother you, then this hotel is for you. Difficult to comment on value as part of a tour.

Apr 04, 2025Heartbreaking and Discriminatory . A
Discriminatory hotel; They denied our stay with a certificate service dog. We booked in advice and informed them about the dog. We arrived , paid our stay, provided all legal information about the dog and after 2 hour of waiting they told us we were not allowed with the dog. They showed a disabled person that they did not care or understand the needs of that person.

Pretty but vibes could improve
Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I would not choose to stay again. The property is beautiful; however, many of the staff members were not friendly. Additionally, the clothing steamer in my room didn’t work, and the bed sagged on one side, which caused me back pain.

An old hotel still comfortable. Some details like there are bathrooms have not bidets, smelly curtains and not a full service restaurant. It happened to me that because I did not leave an open credit card voucher, they withdrew all items from the minibar. This action even though fair and I accepted it, talks of a cheap behaviour. The breakfast is fine, two waiters are specially kind: Ms Leiby Toribio and Mr Juan De La Rosa. Thank you to both of them for their courtesy.
