Fiesta Fresca & Cielito Moments
Overall, loved the trip we made with my wife, sister-in-law, & two kids. Enjoyed the food and the location in our "all-inclusive" stay, and how well Fiesta Americana team connected us to local activities. Definitely do the "El Cielo" tour if you go to Cuzumel, it's worth every bit. I enjoyed, Henry, the bartender, we even made a fresh & slightly spicy drink, and named it "Fiesta Fresca." Good times.

Fantastic Vacation
There are too many good things to mention about Fiesta! From the time we arrived to the time we departed (1 week) the staff of the resort was extremely helpful and friendly! After a few days we got to know most of the staff by name and anytime we needed something they were quick to make sure our needs were met! The food was excellent in all 5 restaurants! The room was clean and comfortable! Room services was timely and delicious! The weather was mild and sunny! All in all we will be back soon!

HORRIBLE! DANGER! LEAKY CEILING AND PLUMBING IN PRESIDENTIAL SUITE.
Imagine paying >$1000 USD a night for the presidential suite and it's falling apart... Occasional brown water from the faucet, 1 shower that has the weakest water pressure and no hot water, toilet that needs to be flushed twice, etc. Using the bath tub floods the hallway (bath tub jets also don't work). Oh and the ceiling also leaks every time it rains, from multiple areas in our living room. Right now there are multiple towels on our floor so we don't slip. The stairs are also flooded during rains, making it dangerous to walk. The elevator is also broken and we're on the 7th floor. One of my friends has bruises on her leg from slipping on the stairs. Not to mention the elevator construction noise every day... Many of the advertised perks for presidential suite are not available. - We did not get our private ensuite check in. Their excuse is they don't have enough people. - The "complementary massage" is only 25 minutes long to get you to pay for more. - The "private chef dinner" is just a regular reservation at the same set of restaurants. They weren't able to serve us in our suite or the private decks in the restaurant. - They give you a bottle of champagne and 5 bottles of liquor, but no shaker/mixer, etc... (Wait don't 5 bottles cost less than 1 night in this leaky shack?) There's also some cheap sodas, chips, and candy, so I guess that's the VIP treat? - "Large terrace with Jacuzzi" the water isn't hot and the jets don't work. - "Extra beds upon request" - it's just the sofa bed. Food is mediocre (the Italian restaurant for dinner is decent but you can get so much better food in town for less than $100 a day). Maybe if you're drunk 24/7 you can look past all of this, but at that point just book the cheapest all inclusive, don't waste your money here. The staff is fine, but our personal concierge did try to sell us a timeshare "presentation". Staff tried to "fix" the leak, thinking it came from the balcony but that didn't work. They also tried to mop the hallway, but that failed as my friend was still taking a bath. They gave up and didn't leave us anything to deal with the river in here I wonder where is the money we are spending going? This place doesn't seem like it's been renovated in decades. Not to mention aesthetics because the function isn't even there. This is false advertisement, and unsafe living conditions. I have a couple days to go, praying that the rain doesn't leak onto my sofa "bed" 🙏🙏

Great vacation with my kids
From the moment we got to Fiesta Americana Cozumel, we were treated so well. We upgraded to the Presidential Suite, which is an experience we will never forget. Despite hurricane Milton sweeping just above us, we still had a very memorable vacation. The staff is their best asset. David, Kevin and Alejandra were the best entertainers. Saul was an amazing concierge. Miguel hustled everyday to insure we were satiated with margaritas, virgin piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris. We always felt like special guests, everyday of our vacation. In addition to all of these positives, other guests were so friendly and treated my two kids and I so well. It honestly was such a welcoming environment. The only negative I can think of is the pool needs some maintenance. My daughter cut her hand, which was kind of a bummer as we didn’t get to snorkel El Cielo. Overall, I will go back to Fiesta Americana Cozumel again as I created memories with my kids that I will always cherish.

Would never return/cancelling Fiesta Americana Rewards Program
When we arrived at Fiesta Americana Cozumel, we were put on the 4th floor. We were not even told about the Fiesta Rewards member floor on 7. We were not told anything about coffee and pastries on the 7th floor every morning. We found out the 3rd day. We were not told anything about concierge. We were just directed to our room by the bellhop. We get to the room and the latch was completely broken off the door, screws pulled out, like someone had forced the door open. The toilet seat was also broken, twisting around. And orange stains on the pillow cases. We politely asked for another room and was told to wait until the next day because the 7th floor room King suite they were planning to switch us to was dirty and still occupied. So we waited and someone came and drilled new holes and a lock on the 4th floor door. They left the screws inside the door frame because they could not get them out . The next morning we were told to come down and get our new room. We were told the room was not ready and to check out and bring our luggage downstairs so another family could have our room on the 4th floor, so they wouldn’t get mad and complain. So very disrespectful. I just had a baby. I asked this hotel did they expect me to pump my breast milk in the public bathroom until my room was ready on the 7th floor?! This was at 7am. We did not get our new room until 2pm. And was finally told we could stay in the 4th floor room until the 7th floor was ready. Whatever they told us…someone else came along and told us different. Lie after lie. We were told the first day…yes, we will switch your room if you wait because they rooms are dirty on the 7th floor but we will put you in a suite king. When we came down the next day, that man wasn’t there and they wanted to put us on the 6th floor in a regular king room. After much discussion, we ended up on the 7th floor (718) in a regular king room. That was not what we were told. At that point, we should have left the resort. It was so disappointing and I felt discriminated against because they felt another arriving family should not have to suffer but we should? And wait with our luggage on day 2 after we reported a problem the first day? Unreasonable. The female front desk manager was argumentative and did not care to help, citing she was too busy to come out and fix the issue…having another woman tell us to bring our luggage down. Day 2 when we finally got a regular king room on the 7th floor, there was no lock on the sliding glass door. Unbelievable. A woman came with a drill and physically made a hole and drilled a latch on the sliding glass door to the balcony. My husband booked the romantic dinner 3…whatever that is..because no one could tell us exactly and we told all of this to the food and beverage manager as well as the front desk manager. So the chef came out the night before and personally asked us what we would like for the romantic dinner. I am vegetarian and pescatarian but no meat. He suggested shrimp and lobster and I agreed. My husband agreed on filet mignon and shrimp and the chef was awesome. He wrote it down and repeated it. The following night we came to our dinner, the waiter said I was only getting lobster and my husband was only getting filet mignon. We politely told him we had already discussed this with the chef. We asked to see the menu for the romantic dinner 3, in writing, and was told there wasn’t one. 60,000 points wasted because they wanted to argue with us. I asked what drinks were served with the romantic dinner. The waiter said red or white wine. Everyone in the restaurant had a choice of red or white wine. Why are we paying so much extra? Why would we be paying for a romantic dinner drink of red or white wine that everyone gets included at this “all inclusive” resort? It was so disappointing. Each time the waiter “left” the table to go speak to the manager, he would take something back with him. Like the champagne. Or the 2 small signature drinks with a tiny bit of juice a cherry inside. We ARE NOT THIEVES. It was insulting and rude to clear the table as we were sitting there waiting on an answer from whoever he went to speak to about our situation. The staff showed zero respect. Politely WAIT until we leave the table to remove whatever you felt was of value. We are GUESTS. We left and a food and beverage manager, Jorge, followed us downstairs, and offered to make it up to us. At this point, after so much frustration, because this is a vacation, not a debate, we said no thank you. Jorge paid for our taxi to the airport the next morning and we will never return. We would like to cancel our fiesta rewards membership gold. We were treated like it meant nothing. There were two women we met on the 7th floor walking around with VIP wristbands but we were treated like trash. We were lied to. Told the fiesta America rewards floors were actually 5-7. If that is the case…why were we put on 4? This was the most unpleasant stay I have ever been to. Had it not been for the hurricane, we would have flown home the 3rd day. I can’t say enough how disappointed I was in the front desk staff. They even asked us “well who’s your concierge?” We were not aware that even existed. We went to the concierge desk and they would not even speak to us. They directed us back to the front desk. Apparently everyone knew what we were going thru, especially with the room, being asked to “check out of a room we paid for to let another family check in so they would not complain.” Indecent behavior. Thank you for allowing me to provide feedback.
