  HGV at Flamigo Bay, St. Maarten

  The room in Villa 3 was immaculate. It looks like it was just refurbished, although this was done after hurricane Irma over 5 years ago. One of the best HGV resorts we’ve been at. Full kitchen a big plus. The beach is beautiful and getting 2 chairs with an umbrella was easy, although that could because it was right after Easter. Everything is close by.

  Love this place

  We absolutely loved this place. It was our second time staying on the island for a week. We actually booked our March 2026 stay same day we left. The whole resort is extremely well kept, landscape, building and all facilities (pool, BBQ area, fire pit, gym, Beach, etc..) The wifi is very strong everywhere on the beach. The room was one of the best we've ever had, large, full kitchen, sitting area, King size bed with sliding privacy door and large balcony. We didn't have an ocean view but we had the street view over looking Juliette's Bistro. Next time I may try to get ocean front if available as long it's not on ground level, those rooms have less privacy. The beach was great, very calm and lots of space. There are 2 beach areas but only the larger one is swim-able. The one closest to the pool as big waves with undertow and I recommend staying away from that area unless you are a strong swimmer. Early April should still be peak season and there as always beach chairs and umbrellas available no matter what time of day you went. Yes some people do go early to put towels on chairs but we never had any issues finding a good spot. I can't review the bar and restaurant on site because we did not use it. What I can say the Buccaneer Beach Bar down the road is amazing. Happy Hour is 5-7pm but regular price beer at $3 is still good. Food is amazing and the atmosphere great. They always have live entertainment which we also enjoyed. The beach is very nice if you want to spend the afternoon there. But you must go in the evening for the music and lights. Pelican Food Market is 2 minute walk across the road for all your basic cooking needs with beer and wine options. They also have fresh meals to go. If you want to walk an extra 10 minutes past the Buccaneer Bar there is a bigger Food Market next to the Burger King on the corner. If you have a car, go to the Carrefour Market Colebay, turn right once you cross the SimpsonBay causeway. We had a car for the week but it is doable without one. There's a bus stop outside the resort with free shuttles to Philipsburg and you can walk for groceries. They sell timeshares and you may be offered a presentation but they are not pushy at all. I just said no and she gave me pamphlets for things to do on the island. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly. I could see myself staying here every year, it is that good. You can find this place on Airbnb and Expedia at a much better price than booking directly through the resort.

  Great experience

  Great resort everything updated units beautiful property very pretty. Alit to do on property easy access to gro very store on premises ,restaurants, barbeque grills beautiful if your cooking fun games at pool all day luved the place will go back

  Loved the room! Food - Not so much

  Room - 5 Stars - very spacious and great views Food - 2 Stars - bland mass produced crap. Go to the Simpson Bay Resort next door for much better food. Pool - 3 Stars - too small Beach - 4 stars - small but calm Typical timeshare place. Don’t answer the phone! LOL!! Take off your wristband and ignore anyone who asks you about it.

  Great HOTEL and Beach.

  We just back from our vacation at ST. Maartin. Last 4 nights we stayed at Hilton Vacation Club Flamingo Beach. The hotel, staff, facilities and room were just great! We loved every minute. Our breakfasts was included. The location of the restaurant is exceptional but I would recommend to have better selection for the breakfasts. Beach and pool were great. Man made wave breakers made beach very calm and suitable for swilling even when other beaches are not. Water is so clear and sand is very puffy. I would defiantly recommend to stay there. Thank you Hilton!
