Excellent Meals at GR Solaris with Israel and Israel!!
Special shout-out to our two favorite waiters of the week: Israel and Israel. (Yes, our two faves both had the same name...) Both Israels were very fun, comedically funny, provided outstanding service, and really understood that a waiter's attention to his customers can make the meal. We stayed next door at the Royal Solaris, and dropped by the adjoining GR Solaris multiple times throughout the week, sharing our time across both resorts. Our meals with Israel and Israel were our best meals of the week. Thank you Gentlemen // Gracias Amigos!!

Rosaura!
If you’re lucky enough to have Rosaura serving you by the pool in Cancun, prepare to be treated like royalty—minus the crown, but who needs a crown when you have Rosaura? Her service was faster than a margarita disappearing on a hot day, and just as refreshing! She somehow knows exactly when you need another drink before you even realize you're thirsty. Her smile is brighter than the Cancun sun, and she’s the real reason we didn’t want to leave the pool. If you need a good laugh, great service, and a reminder that life can be fun, just hang out by the pool with Rosaura. Five stars, ten if I could give them! Highly recommend!

Exceptional Poolside Service at GR Solaris Cancun - Rosaura Made Our Day!
During our stay at GR Solaris Cancun, we had the pleasure of being served by Rosaura at the poolside, and she truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we settled in by the pool, Rosaura’s attentive and friendly service stood out. She checked in with us regularly, ensuring that we had everything we needed, without ever being intrusive. Her positive attitude was contagious, and it made us feel like VIPs the entire time. She was always on top of drink refills which made our poolside experience even more enjoyable. Rosaura's professionalism, warmth, and efficiency made a huge difference in our stay. We felt incredibly well taken care of and will definitely return because of the amazing service she provided. Thank you, Rosaura, and GR Solaris Cancun for such a wonderful experience!

4 Days stay in February 2025 with my Wife
**PROS:** **Location:** The resort is in a very convenient location, with a bus stop right outside the main gate. The bus ride to downtown Cancun takes about 20-25 minutes, making it easy to explore the area. However, getting back to the resort requires a 5-6 minute walk from the nearest bus stop, which can be inconvenient after a long day of sightseeing. **Price:** I did a lot of research before booking, and this resort was the most affordable compared to other similar properties in the area. It provides a solid all-inclusive experience at a reasonable price, which makes it a good option if you’re on a budget. **Entertainment Options:** The resort offers a variety of entertainment throughout the day and evening. During the day, there are poolside games that keep guests engaged and entertained. Isra Aguilar - Israel, the Coach is their fitness expert, who arranges very nice fitness activities such as Yoga, Exercises and games which involves all guests occupied. Each evening, there are different shows in the theater, which is a nice touch. Additionally, the resort has a pool table, foosball, and card games in the lobby, providing options for those looking to stay indoors. 4. **Safety:** The resort is family-friendly, and safety is a priority. The property is well-secured, and the staff are generally friendly and attentive. It’s an ideal place for families with kids, as it provides a safe and welcoming environment. --- **CONS:** **Services:** One area where the resort could improve is its medical services. There’s a lack of basic medical supplies like pain relief spray, band-aids, and common medications. These items are only available for purchase at the resort’s gift shop, which can be inconvenient if you need them urgently. Another issue we encountered was with the laundry service. We sent a few clothes for washing, but they were returned unwashed. Although we weren’t charged for this, it was still disappointing. **Staff:** While many of the staff were polite, there was a noticeable language barrier. A lot of staff members didn’t speak fluent English, which made communication somewhat difficult at times. While it’s understandable that not everyone will be fluent in English, it did make it harder to ask questions or request assistance. Some staff members were also less friendly compared to others, which made the overall service feel inconsistent. **Food:** The food at the resort was another point of concern. The buffet was lacking in both quality and variety, with many options feeling bland and not very fresh. While there was always food available, it didn’t quite live up to expectations for an all-inclusive resort. Additionally, to get better drinks, you often need to form a rapport with the bartenders. This felt like a hassle, as it would have been nice if drinks were more consistent without needing to build a relationship with the staff. The deli, which should serve quick bites or snacks, also didn’t open early enough. It would have been great if it opened earlier for guests looking for a lighter breakfast or a quick snack before the main meals. **Pool & Amenities:** The pool area is a bit of a letdown, especially during peak hours. After 8 AM, it becomes very crowded, and finding an available pool bed is nearly impossible. Guests would often claim pool beds early in the morning by leaving towels or personal items, only to return hours later. This made it difficult for other guests who arrived later to find a spot. The jacuzzi area is also underwhelming. There’s only one jacuzzi with a seating capacity of just 12 people, which is far too small for the number of guests at the resort. This means the jacuzzi often gets overcrowded, and you may not get a chance to enjoy it. **Construction Noise:** One of the most unfortunate aspects of our stay was the construction noise coming from a nearby property. The ongoing construction was loud and disruptive, especially in the mornings. This took away from the otherwise relaxing atmosphere of the resort. Additionally, the construction site negatively impacted the view from our room, which was disappointing given the price we paid for our stay. I understand that this may not be an issue for everyone, but it’s worth mentioning. **Overall Thoughts:** In conclusion, GR Solaris offers an acceptable experience for the price, but there are several areas that could be improved. The resort has a great location and offers various entertainment options, making it suitable for families and those looking for a budget-friendly all-inclusive stay.(Special shout out to Isra, the Coach for making my stay much better, find the pictures) The staff and safety are also positive aspects of the resort, though there is room for improvement in customer service and English proficiency. The food and drink offerings need attention, as does the management of the pool area and jacuzzi, which often becomes overcrowded. The lack of basic medical services and the ongoing construction nearby were also disappointing. Despite these drawbacks, the resort offers good value for money, but with a few changes, it could be much better. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly all-inclusive option with good entertainment and safety, this might be a decent choice. However, be aware of the areas that need improvement, as the resort still has room for growth.
