TERRIBLE! DO NOT STAY HERE!
I recently stayed at Grand Oasis Cancun from 11/9 - 11/14, and my experience was far below expectations. Saturday, 11/9 I booked a room with two beds as we are not a couple, yet we were assigned a room (2154) with a single king bed. When I went through the booking arrangements with Monster Reservations Group, I specifically asked for 2 beds. Despite my request for the correct room, we were told there were no available rooms and that a rollaway bed would be delivered but that we needed to wait in our room. We waited in our room, hungry and tired. I called the front desk for an update 6 times and there was no answer. After some time, went back to the front desk and let them know that no one came and they said they would have the bed delivered to the room and that we could go eat. Only to find the bed left in the hallway without any bedding. We had to bring it inside and make it ourselves. Additionally, there were no washcloths provided, and the sink was rusted—an immediate red flag for cleanliness. Sunday, 11/10 The next morning, we discovered a leak in the room. Despite reporting this and requesting washcloths, none were provided. The concierge (I believe her name was Elise or Elisa) was dismissive and advised us to return later to speak with the manager, Fernando. When we met with him, he informed us that there were no rooms with two beds available, but he would look into it. He explained that the issues with the beds was on Monster as they only book for additional beds by availability. He mentioned that the extra bed request could only be made available IF they had the availability. We were never contacted and had to repeatedly follow up ourselves. Eventually, we were moved to room 2190. This room, while slightly better, still lacked basic amenities—a minibar/fridge. After several requests for cold water and a fridge, we were left waiting for hours. We received a replacement fridge 48 hours later after speaking to the manager several times. Furthermore, the TV channels had poor reception, and we were told there was no option to fix this. The next day, I was shown another room as an alternative, but it had visible mold in the shower. This was unacceptable, so we chose to remain in the original room. That night, we experienced another leak, this time flooding part of the room, soaking the floor near the rollaway bed. I had to request additional towels to manage the water. Throughout our stay, I noticed multiple leaks around the hotel, with wet floor signs and towels scattered everywhere, including in the dining areas. Even the day of our check out there was a leak in the room which was falling on the bed. We had to set the garbage can for some of the water to fall into. On Wednesday night (11/13) while having dinner in one of the restaurants (Hacienda Sarape) we witnessed a massive leak which was falling in to the salad bars and puddles of water on the floor. The quality of service was disappointing overall. Many staff members were unhelpful, and basic requests were repeatedly ignored. The food was bland, and the drinks were heavily diluted. I spent the entire vacation dealing with room issues and inconveniences, rather than enjoying my time at the resort.

Grand Oasis Cancun - Not a fully All Inclusive.
Please also read the other reviews as they are very similar to mine. I should have read them before booking. It just that I had last minute vacation I needed to take from work. This review is not meant to bash the resort but hope to help both future guest on their decision with their vacation and for the resort management on where they need to improve. This is also meant to share my own experiences. This resort is NOT an All Inclusive Resort. I would say it is partial all inclusive, but it gave me stress trying to figure out what is included or not. Once you figure out the app it will be much easier and you will realize the limited free restaurant selection also. Let me start with the positives. Entertainment are very good. Overall service especially in the restaurant is very good. Overall ambiance of the resort is good. Snack bars are good -pizza, tacos, burgers, fries, ceviche, nachos...etc. The Check-In: Got there at 1pm. The Check in line was so long. Only 3 people working, there is over 20 people in the line. We waited close to an hour just to get service and be told after the wait that our room will be ready 2hrs later that day which is 4pm. Safe in the Room: Safe needs to be rented $8-$10 CDN a day. That was the first sign of the all inclusive issue for us. This is actually a deal breaker for me as well. We had to carry a few of our valuables around i.e. Passport and small jewelry and watches for dinner attire. The Beach Beach overall is great. However, If you have mobility issues, might not be the best resort for you as stairs to access the beach is fairly steep. There is also a lack of beach chairs. A lot beach lounges/chairs are broken. There seems to be more VIP lounges than the regular paid guest. VIP lounges are just out there empty while the regular paid guest are on the sand without beach chairs. The Pool Lack of pool lounge chairs or maybe they overbook the hotel. People are just putting their stuff around the pool as they cannot find a spot to lounge. Rain Resort really needs some work. It rain the evening of Nov 13, 2024. There was water leaking all over the resort. Even in our floor there was water leaking from the roof. The front of the coffee shop close to Tatish restaurant flooded. Tatish lineup again was usually long extend outside of the restaurant while people are getting rained down on. Restaurant: (only the ones that I tried). No Reservation is needed for most of the restaurant included in the "all inclusive" Bahia steakhouse need a reservation. Coyote Bites Restaurant Good service Food was ok. No real complain, just do not expect to much in terms of quality of food. MakiTaco LT There are 2 of them. I went to the free Makitaco restaurant. Waited for 45 minutes to be seated. Food was average. Sushi rolls has to much rice wine very sour. Sushi cones the seaweed wrap is stale and soggy. Server seems annoyed and ready to go home and call it a day. Sarape Waited for 1 hour just to be seated. This restaurant is probably the best restaurant that is included in the regular "all inclusive" package in terms of flavour of Mexican cuisine. Tatish buffet Good service The buffet food was not good at all. The pork was not tender and the carrots vegetable was hard like a rock. Not much selection. Visited this restaurant 4 out of 7 times for lunch and they have similar selection of food. I was ready to go out of the resort for food. Dinner line up to get in is long and again serving same food as lunch. On my 2nd day, One lady I spoke to told me she has been in the resort for 6 days and the food was the same all the time she has been there. She was right. By the way the La Tratorria restaurant is the same Buffett as the Tatish just pasta and pizza was added for dinner. Bahia steak house Average food in this restaurant. I ask for a wine and it turns out they charge you for it. However, the charge is triple. They sold me a bottle of wine for $900 mxn pesos, but the actual wine only cost $250 mxn pesos. The Wine name is Acquerello Chianti. I felt I got scam...my fault probably. Way to take advantage of the tourist who do not speak or understand the language. I felt the employees was laughing at me for buying a $250 mxn bottle of wine for $900 mxn. il Forno Good pizza and pasta Internet Slow internet. No internet when outside room or beach area. At the end of the day. This is probably the worst of "all inclusive" experience I ever had and I try to go every year to a Real All Inclusive Resorts. I even feel embarrassed telling my friends and family about this trip or where I stayed. Would I come back? That is a hard NO! If I can turn back the clock I would definitely choose a different resort. There is a lot in this review. I hope this helps and hope management take it and try to improve. But based on the previous review they just respond with template response and move on to the next. You might see the same review with other websites like trip advisor. Sunwing needs to also update their rating for Grand Oasis. Anyways that is all....Good luck folks.

Worst Mexico all-inclusive experience
I am 3 days now into a 10 day stay and cannot wait to leave this place and go back home. I just have to write to warn other people considering this hotel to look elsewhere. I have been to Mexico over a dozen times and this is only the 2nd time I am writing a review, just because it has been a very bad experience. A review rating of 1 is too generous. I would give a zero if that was an option. Room cleaning is only done every other day and between 9 am and 6 pm - only found out after I arrived and on the 2nd day when room was not made up and was then told by the concierge that it is disclosed on their website. All hotels I have stayed at, the room is made up by 4 pm. Who wants to come back from the beach at the end of the day to an undone room and prepare to go for dinner. The idea of going on an all-inclusive vacation is to pay for a service and just relax. Also, I expected the hotel will provide toiletries (shower gel and shampoo) just like all hotels I have been and did not bring my own... so far there is no shower gel in the room. I asked whether this is an omission or they ran out...still no answer from various concierges and they do not even seem to understand shower/bath/body wash/gel. The fridge is re-filled only upon request, which I have read and waws prepared for making request....but I was not expecting that it will not be re-filled after multiple requests. When in Mexico heat and you need to hydrate or are even recommended to brush teeth using bottled water, it is amazing that you need to request water refill in your room...again, not something I have experienced at any other resort hotels. I had to come back and read previous reviews on this resort to see what I missed when booking this trip - I can see other comments so similar to my current experience. I am just tired of going to the concierge to request basic things usually provided by resort hotels, complaining without seeing any resolution. Who wants to spend vacation time making requests every day and for basic things expected like daily room cleaning and water re-fill. At this point, I am not wasting my time going to the concierge again and just counting down to my departure date. It seems all these issues are just $ save save save by this chain. Be warned if you are considering this hotel chain. The hotel website says this is a 5 star hotel. It is not. Needless to say, I will not be coming back again or recommend to any one.

Great Customer Service!
I had such a great time! The energy and liveliness of the resort were incredible. The workers there made me feel very welcomed. I would like to specifically mention Florence, Yudith and Miguel at Miramar Beach Club. These were some of the nicest people ever. They are also very efficient at their job.

Very disappointed
Purchase two rooms which were both supposed to be king beds. The other room was king beds. My room had leaked around the toilet and around the sink no blankets on the bed tiles on the floor were broken. This is the older building which they put us in not worth the money for the room Food has not been good. I advise them on check-in that we were supposed to have two king beds. They told me check back the next day to see if any were available, but people were coming in after us and getting king beds. Very disappointed in the hospitality of the hotel and the people in it not very friendly to Americans.
