La Adelina Mexican fare restaurant at the Grand Palladium Bavaro beach has the best server: Santa Maria. Food was excellent!!!! Very friendly extremely courteous service / we felt at home with our family with Santa. Best service we have experienced on this trip Thanks Santa…. Very good service…… and help for the hospitality she gave us good advice on all courses. She is one of the reasons we are coming back!

Hotel itself was mostly very tidy, lobby and bar areas were cleaned up very quickly and never any garbage on the grounds Rooms were rough, zero privacy for the washrooms as the glass for the shower was see through and you could hear and see everything Rooms smelled of musty as the shower would flood the washroom no matter what you tried to do This isn’t a family resort for young kids. Kids section was very minimal and the staff were just going through the motions and the movies almost never showed. The kids pool with “waterpark” was so lacking and smelled like pee Main pool was never overly busy Beach left something to be desired. The amount of seaweed was insane on the beach and in the water. There was also a lot of debris in the sand which sucked since it was nice white sand Here is what really bothered me about the hotel and that was the non stop selling. First pressure to do there “ privilege” then there was always something someone was trying to sell you on the beach or the resort. Upgrades to parties, excursions, constantly asking for money foe things and when you said no they make comments or push harder. Leave me alone im on vacation sure ask or put up a sign if im interested great if not piss off. This bothered our entire group because the pressure felt like it never stopped.

Bamboo restaurant 100% of the way
Bamboo was fabulous. Delvin was the best waiter we had all week. He went above and beyond to make our dinner great! He didn’t even know it was our anniversary and it was so special! Food was awesome! Atmosphere great! They were super friendly!

Celebrating my 50
Celebrating my 50th birthday with family and the GP PTC did not disappoint me at all. From the time I arrived to my departure, Maritza PTC was my concierge personnel. She was extremely attentive to my needs and surprised me with a birthday cake, and I was serenaded at one of the parties. Christopher was my personal driver whenever I needed a ride, he was available with a big smile. I like how the Grand Palladium was aware of dietary needs and had other options available. Thank you for making my birthday a memorable one that I will not forget.
