Go to a different resort! Do not waste your money or your time.
This was not the Christmas vacation we had paid for or hoped for! This resort is under MAJOR construction. No one told us this! Service, food and maintenance is below expectations. 6 rooms were booked for my family and all 6 had issues! We are not fancy people but we do have standards. Issues were reported.

Pick a different resort
DO NOT GO! I wish I had someone that would have told us this before we booked our family vacation here. The main pool is under construction and there is boards and tarps up all over. The noise is overwhelming. We had 6 rooms booked and there were issues with every room. No double rooms. The rooms that had pullout sofas had no linens. The mini fridges were cool at best. The phones in most of the rooms did not work. The food at the resort was sub par. The colonial had the better of the buffets. The Italian restaurant was hot inside and noisy and flavorless. Trying to call guest services was horrible. Yes we reported all of this. They tried fixing some of the phones. They would occasionally fill the fridge. It was definitely not the Christmas trip we had hoped for. Spend your money elsewhere.

Undisclosed major construction
[HOTEL UNDERGOING MAJOR CONSTRUCTION; DO NOT GO THERE FOR NOW] The pool, lagoon, beach bar, pathways to the lobby are all closed and they look months away from being done. Management is dismissive about it and did not notify travel providers and refuses to offer compensation. You can use facilities from sister hotels but they are far and very crowded. Definitely not the experience anyone paid for. I’d wait until the second half of 2025 to even consider going there. Too bad because the grounds are beautiful and most staff super attentive.

Holiday on a building site
We were lied to. Vast areas the resort, the pool, the lagoon, restaurants are under construction. Noisy construction. We paid full price and our view from our room was a building site. Avoid it until at least March. When I complained they wanted to charge me more to move.
