NOT 5 star hotel
Beautiful grounds, Great customer service. BUT rooms were absolutely HORRIBLE. Furniture looked like it wasn’t changed in years, sheets were grey color, towels had stains everywhere, pillows so flat, you can’t even call it a pillow: lol. Food at the buffet was great, but they constantly ran out of it for breakfast. I mean completely ran out. No eggs, pancakes for kids, no fruits, NOTHING. Beach is very Rocky, bring water shoes. If you are looking for Five Star hotel, this is NOT the place

Not up to pare of the other hotels in the resort
We arrived to moldy smelling room and a broken door handle but had to eat so left and came back to strange bugs in the bedcovers and pillows. we were moved two doors down at 2am only to sleep in a room that was still moldy smelling. the resort is quite large and has old features so be careful on bridges and walkways. (tripping is a thing) and there aren't any jacuzzies!! Swim up pool was beautiful. Staff were always polite and helpful. buffet was average with expected comfort foods. I'm not interested in attending this place again. not my kind of experience and wasnt happy with the overall experience there.

Wonderful Family holiday
Just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks holiday at this hotel and couldn’t fault it at all. We travelled with 9 of us and had no issues getting bookings in the a la carte restaurants, we went to concierge in the white sands lobby and booked for 3 days at a time. White sands pool is much quieter than the colonial and we had no issues getting the same 9 beds together everyday. We didn’t bother with the beach due to the seaweed unfortunately, although the hotel do try their best to clean it up. The food in the a la cartes and the buffets is great, we didn’t have a bad meal in 2 weeks. The entertainment in the colonial lobby was also brilliant, especially the silent disco on Mondays! All the staff are lovely and polite and work so hard, we felt very well looked after. Overall we all had a wonderful holiday and would definitely return.

La Poisana Restaurant
We were at this resort for the spring break 2025! I have to say the staff is so nice, polite, welcoming and most important they all speak English! The one person I want to point out the most is the waiter from the Argentinian restaurant - La Poisana, Roger. He went above and beyond to make my birthday away from home extra special. Besides the food being great, he made sure that I got a cake with candles and Mariachi Band to sing happy birthday to me. It was a very special and pleasant experience.

All four one, and one four all.
Brilliant but bewildering resort. We booked through TUI. Their marketing of Grand Palladium White Sands indicates "13 bars, 4 pools, etc" "within Grand Palladium resort", but nothing to tell the holiday maker that this is four hotels, on one massive resort site. The four-hotel resort offer was bewildering and took a few days to understand. After a 16-hour journey door to door, I could hardly remember where we’d come from let alone grasp where we were on this incredible sprawling resort! Arriving at White Sands Reception we were presented with a site map, told to download the app, and quickly informed that we can go “here, here, here but not here or here”. Then whisked away on an electric shuttle to our block. After talking with other guests, we eventually learned that this is three separate Palladium Hotels (White Sand, Colonial, and Kantenah) with three separate lobbies, plus a TRS hotel with its own lobby, then follows a confusing journey of what is shared, what is not, and how to get there. Grand Palladium White Sands is extremely quiet (perhaps deliberately). All the entertainment and events were at neighbouring Grand Palladium hotels. The Grand Palladium Colonial was the place for vibe, atmosphere, and entertainment. Across the resort, restaurants were often at 50% capacity earlier in the evening yet still showing no availability on the app. At least we occasionally found extra availability through the concierge directly. The 14 restaurants are very hit and miss. The El Dorado, Sumptuori, and La Paisana were very good. I love Mexican beer, and was looking forward to sinking a few Corona, Sol, or Modelo. Sadly, the all-inclusive resort only offers a monopoly of Dos Equis on tap, which along with the odd can of dire Coors Lite in the mini-bar, came second and third to the cans of mineral water for full body flavour. Once you find your way. The electric shuttles are brilliant, omnipresent, and whisk you around the site from hotel to hotel, and key areas. Room cleanliness was exceptional, and I have to say the hotel staff (bar, reception, restaurant, cleaners, gardeners, etc) were excellent in all areas. As a swimmer, the beach for all three Palladium hotels were very disappointing. Around a half mile long of white sands and turquoise blue seas beautiful to look at, yet only one of two areas less than 15 yards wide where you could enter the water without hidden slippery rocks, and dips, and only to waist height. I thought I’d try the saltwater pool, but this was an exclusive for TRS users, and out of bounds for Grand Palladium guests. The two giant Grand Palladium pools (at White Sand and Colonial) are great. However, as with most things on the resort, usage was skewed. Most of the Colonial guests crammed round their pool without a sunbed free, they had clearly not realised they could use the White Sand pool which was generally very quiet. The wonderful and vast White Sands lagoons summed it up, stunning to look at but not used at all. All the canoes tied up and half sunk, and a lagoon pleasure boat non-operational. Even the fish and iguanas looked bored. Much like the rest of the resort hugely impressive but oddly utilised. The real star of the whole resort is the architect or landscape designer. It really is a masterpiece, but in general the four hotel resort the resort didn’t work well, was disjoined, and not evenly or best utilised in my opinion.
