Beautiful and Relaxing
This property has an adults only area with Villas. The area is quiet, on the beach and includes patios with plunge pools. The food, drinks and service is exceptional. We’ve been here twice and will be back!

Cancun
Will not be back. Mexico I can say been there did that won't be back. Language barrier and food to many better options.

Breathtaking Views
We spent a week at the Grand Park Royal Cancun, it was a very relaxing week. The resort is small which we like, extremely clean and very welcoming. We stayed in the Royal Tower, I would advise anyone looking for the little extras, to pay the little extra money to upgrade, well worth it. These rooms have all been renovated and updated, they are very large. Tons of closet space and drawers for clothes and storage. The mini fridge was restocked daily, the coffee maker is a keurig so bonus for me as I brought my own flavoured Kcups. There is 2 refillable water bottles supplied that can be refilled at several filling stations around the resort, we brought 3 of our own as well so we never ran low. The views from the balcony are amazing, pictures do not do the torques water justice. The only thing to watch for is the floors get slippery when wet. The restaurants were all good, I personally didn’t enjoy the oriental but my husband did. The tiramisu at the Italian is a must. The buffet is on the small side, but what they lack in quantity they make up in quality. The Mexican restaurant turns into a breakfast alacart with yummy waffles and lots of other options. There is a restaurant in the Royal Tower for a light breakfast for adults, a space that is not well utilized. This restaurant could be an amazing adults only breakfast and lunch alacart space, instead of the current steak house that is not included in your all inclusive. Seems odd if one wants to pay for a meal, there are lots of places along the strip. Another place not very well utilized is the Rooftop bar, it is a pretty cool spot, but no live music and a humdrum bar. This place could really be a great spot with a little thought. Coffee place was amazing try the chocolate ice cream, ok try all the ice cream. They also have grab and go juice, fruit, sandwiches and snacks. The adults only pool is so relaxing, no blasting music, until about 4 o’clock, the DJ “reads the room” and plays the music the people want to hear and will play requests. We didn’t experience the family pool or buildings, only to eat. We also didn’t attend any shows. We never heard any loud music at night, only the sound of the waves. The towel game is strong as this resort, with an upgrade that was not a problem for us, our butler Alejandra ( I hope I spelt that right) saved a sunbed cabana for us everyday. He was such a big help to us, booking meals, massages even getting me Dr Pepper as i had told him it was my favourite pop. This resort is on one of the best and biggest beaches in Cancun. One major Pro about this resort, there were no smokers in your face, everyone that did smoke did it far away from others in the smoking areas. Also anyone with mobility issues might want to reconsider this resort, there are a lot of stairs, elevators are provided, there is also a lot of uneven walkways. This resort is best suited for couples and young families, I don’t think teenagers or anyone looking for a party place would be very happy. Would we return, in a heartbeat

Beautiful Vacation Location!
We had another great week at the Grand Park Royal Cancun! This resort has something for everyone! If you like activities and interaction, the Funtastic Team has plenty of options. If you like to get away from interactions, there is a pool area more for that. We enjoyed the food this year more than ever. It just seems like they have stepped up their game. The new pavilion bar with swim up options is beautiful! I mentioned many staff members by name in a previous review, but I forgot Erika and Karina! They served drinks directly to our chairs by the pool. Always with a smile! Of course, the blue waters of the Caribbean, the sun, sand, palm trees . . . all add to the desirability of this place as a vacation spot! I highly recommend it!
