Fantastic experience. The hotel is gorgeous. Excellent service. Spa team excellent. Food and restaurants gorgeous and fantastic. Had my birthday here and they treat you like royalty. Carlos with water activities was awesome and so kind and friendly.

Wonderful from start to finish.
The whole experience at this resort was incredible. Our concierge Dolcelina Flores was incredible checking in with us every day making our dinner reservations and taking care of anything we needed. Raymundo Ruiz made sure we had the chairs we requested by the pool and on the beach. Saturnino and Francesco were wonderful in delivering our food and drinks by the pool with a smile. They also made sure we didn’t get too much sun by constantly adjusting our umbrella!!! The food and service in all the restaurants was definitely a 5 star experience!! There truly isn’t anything we can complain about. A truly 5 star resort

Fantastic Family Vacation
I have to say that Grand Velas absolutely lived up to its reputation. We chose this resort because of the extremely good reviews and we were not disappointed. From the time we booked our reservation we were connected with our pre-arrival concierge (thank you Adela!) who provides all the information to any questions you have, provides transportation options, and provides anything you need as well as books any reservations you want to book. When you arrive at the hotel you are welcomed “home” and checked in, in a way I’ve never experienced before. You are seated and everything is brought to you. No line ups at the front desk. While you are waiting you are offered a complimentary neck and shoulder massage and a drink. After that yourself and your bags are brought immediately up to your room. The rooms and resort are kept in immaculate condition. You are assigned a personal concierge who continues to check in and ensure everything is going well and provides anything you need. Thank you so much Mario! The kids club is incredible and the kids never wanted to leave. The staff in the kids club are amazing and work hard to ensure the kids are having a great time. The kids even had dinner in the club one night so my wife and I could enjoy a dinner together and they ordered room service to the club. The kids had a blast. The poolside concierge (thanks Jorge and Raymundo!) are amazing always checking to ensure you are taken care of and the staff at the poolside are incredible (thanks Fransico!) The restaurants are beyond great and provide you with a fine dining experience. The food is amazing and the staff in the restaurants really do a great job to ensure you are enjoying yourself. I can’t thank everyone at Grand Velas enough for creating a fantastic family vacation and there will be no doubt that we will be returning with more family next year!

We had an amazing time staying at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. Everything is in the details and they know it. The service from the Bell guys Miguel to the Concierge Perla, the waiter Ricardo Wario at the Azul Buffet and Paul and Daniel at the Poil Bar was absolutely lovely. The food is also amazing, we never ate so well in a resort. I recommand this Hotel 100%

Exceptional!!
We just spent 10 days at the Grande Velas Riviera Nayarit. This was our first time there on the recommendation of friends who have frequented the resort . From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out we were impressed beyond words. Our personal concierge, Perla, made us feel at home ensuring our every whim was taken care of, no request was too much. She went above & beyond our expectations. We spent most of days at the pool. Gustavo, Gilberto, Jorge, Raymundo & Luis were all so attentive from ensuring our favorite lounge chairs were waiting for us, constantly tweaking our umbrellas giving us the needed shade, ensuring we were being kept hydrated with whatever we desired and the Spanish lessons. This is just to name a few. Every department & person we encountered was so welcoming & exceptional in the service they provided. We will definitely return & recommend this beautiful resort to our friends & family.
