    One to seriously consider.

We had a two week all inclusive holiday mid Jan 2025, with friends. Cannot fault this lovely hotel, with excellent colleagues throughout and good food. The international drinks as part of the AI were generous and an excellent selection. The room was very comfortable, had a coffee pod machine and a regular to up of the fridge contents. Everywhere was clean and well maintained. A small issue with the dining room, in that there was no separate seating for adults only in the evening which made some evenings mildly disruptive. Something to consider perhaps?

    Beautiful hotel.

Well what a beautiful hotel the h10 Atlantic Sunset is. We arrived via a taxi from the airport which only took us 30mins if that and was greeted by a very friendly hello from the porter who kindly took our luggage. We had to wait a little while for a receptionist to become available but was offered a nice glass of cava whilst we waited. Olga checked us in and gave us all the information which we needed as well as lovely smile. We had booked a roof top room on a half board basis which suited us fine as we intended to spend most of our time on the private roof terrace and feel all inclusive would not benefit us. Our room was just stunning and would definitely book this room again we just loved it. The bed was so comfy and so big. Tea and coffee pods were replenished everyday as well as 2 bottles of water. The safe was free and the small fridge kept our water nice and cold. I must mention the beautiful smell which was left every morning when the house keeper had been, i would definitely have bought the spray to use at home if i could have. Yes you do have to book your buffet breakfast and evening meal each day on the app, but only need to give 15 minutes notice, we did not have any problem with this and always got the time slot we wanted. We used the free shuttle bus which drops you off in las Americas it leaves every day at 11.30 and picks you back up again at 5.45 promt. Food in the buffet was lovely always meat, fish, pasta, pizza, risotto. You would be a very picky eater if you could not find something to like. I would just like to finish with a big thank you to all the staff as everyone always had a smile, and who all acknowledge you with an hello, good morning etc. You don't always get that in a big hotel, so thanks again and hopefully we will be back.

    Outstanding hotel with great service

Another excellent stay at this hotel. This was our 3rd time here and as always the service, food, drink, cleanliness of the hotel are all 5*. We was on the all inclusive privilege package and the service in the privilege restaurant is amazing, the staff really cannot do enough for you and generally seem to care about making sure guests have an amazing holiday. We also enjoyed all our lunches in the buffet restaurant and snack bar, so much choice and really good quality food. We had dinner in Route 66 and the Italian and both were really good, came out feeling very full. Cocktails in the main bar are again top quality and a good variety all made to order. Our room was kept very clean throughout our stay and all the communal areas are kept almost immaculate, the staff work tirelessly to keep up the 5* standards. Access to your room is via the chip in your wrist band so you never have to think about whether you have the key on you before you leave the room. The only negative of this hotel is having to book every breakfast, lunch and dinner on the app. Would be nice on holiday to just go breakfast when you wake up and have a buffet lunch when you fancy it. (Booking for dinner I totally understand.) We look forward to our 4th visit at some point in the near future.

    Great chill out week

We had a fantastic weeks stay at this hotel, great place for a nice chill out week, we had a sea view room. Bar staff and staff in the restaurants were top notch, real good variety of food, never struggled to get anything. Entertainment, was varied, either in show bar or upstairs bar, plenty of room, not overcrowded at all.

A brilliant first holiday as a family of four

We had an excellent first holiday as a family of four. Staff were fantastic, rooms were spacious and contemporary, facilities were great with salt and fresh water pools and the quality of the food was exceptional. We were travelling with a baby and I had contacted the hotel in advance and they had arranged to provide a bottle steriliser for us, which was great as it saved on having to bring another item. We had a family room which looked out onto the back of the hotel where we could see the sea which came in to a little Inlet next to us and views of the hard rock hotel. The music was a little noisy in the afternoon when my children were having a nap but nothing to disturb them and it seemed to finish relatively early in the evening too. The room was really beautifully decorated and had modern touches such as USB charging which was helpful. It would’ve been great to know in advance that if you bring your own HDMI cable you can stream from your devices. There was a veranda that was in shade, but I can imagine if it had been really warm. It would’ve been useful to have something in the shade so that the children could play. A large bed and the sofa bed had been made up for my son, which was also very large. The travel cot that they provided for my daughter was top of the range, the only thing that was a little strange was that there was no bath which I thought was odd when staying with children. They offered a baby bath so I had that option. I’m sure it was clearly displayed but I just assumed the rooms had baths at a 5* hotel. We had complementary water and a welcome bottle of fizz and welcome drinks and were offered a drink at the bar including a soft drink for our son. The Canary islanders are known for their love of children but they really did make a fuss of ours - they felt like celebrities at every meal. It’s hard to single out people as everyone was so nice but special thanks to Georgina, Katie, Claire and Maritza who were so sweet. To the kids club staff and to the photographers who were all really great with my little boy. The pools were all lovely - salt and fresh water. Unheated but when the wind was still and the air temperature was warm we felt fine. The splash area with slides was perfect for our four year old. There was also a small playground which was great for exploring on days when it was a little windy and the pool felt cold. The adult pools are lovely to escape for some relaxing including the infinity pool with spectacular ocean views. I also really liked the 60s style architecture and the Joan Miro style sculptures, it felt really spacious and laid out really nicely. The planting was also really well done and the whole place was obviously well cared for and immaculately clean. The food was incredible, we were half board and I was nervous as hadn’t stayed in a hotel like this before (usually preferring independent travel and not to eat in the hotel) but the quality of the food and breadth of choice was amazing. We had shell fish, taco stations, freshly cooked meat, fish and vegetables and tonnes of sweet treats. There are quite a few rules around drinks and when you could eat in restaurants and the only lunch place you can eat is the buffet but it was so good we preferred it. The other restaurants are nice (the Japanese restaurant doesn’t allow children so we couldn’t eat there). The other restaurants were nice, if a little basic, in one I had an issue with some undercooked chicken but the staff responded really well and it was all sorted immediately and they kindly comped our drinks. I always think it’s a mark of good staff how they respond to a problem and they were great about it. This was the only food issue we had and again, the quality of the food was amazing – we had freshly made sushi twice! Being picky, it would have been great to have had more alcohol options in the restaurants- a gin and tonic was not available in the buffet or in the Italian restaurant. Only wine and beer. When we had to check out not only were we allowed to keep our towel cards as we had a late flight but we could enjoy the facilities and booking for lunch. They also gave us use of a courtesy room for half an hour so that we could shower and change. This gesture was really appreciated as it essentially gave us a whole extra day by the pool which we did didn’t want to leave! Any other feedback? Was that when we contacted the hotel after booking to ask about a shuttle service to the airport? We were told there wasn’t any available and they didn’t recommend a company for us to use which would have been helpful. The hotel itself is on a cliff top and therefore quite remote so a shuttle service to nearby places would be the only thing I could think to add to otherwise perfect stay. Brilliant facilities, food, staff and rooms Would highly recommend if you are travelling with your family.
