Great annivesary experience!
We just had a wonderful stay at Hammock Cove. All the staff went above and beyond! The view from our villa is amazing! The Ambassadors made sure we have everything we needed. They gave us a planner which is great as we don't have to worry about booking dinner reservations etc on a daily basis. The Front desk team are always happy to assist whenever we have some inquiry. The food are impeccable, the liqour selection are top scale for an All Inclusive resort. We were celebrating our anniversary and we arrived to a room fully decorated. All in all it was a memorable experience and we cannot wait to come back!

Not 5 stars
Food at Irinas is very good for the most part. At the 7 course meals some of the dishes are just okay. I would do 4 course and have all the dishes be great. The food at breakfast never changes and service is not 5 star. It is 3 star at best. The beach/pool service is awful. If you do not want the worst liquor brands you need to go to the main bar to get a drink yourself. The staff is not providing 5 star service. Most are very young and do not appear to be trained how to greet, treat and service in a 5 star hotel. They need to be trained on how 5 star hotel is run and how to take care of the guests. Maybe they should adopt the Ritz Carlton model of ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen. The bathrooms in the main bar and by the pools are not serviced regularly. I had to remind staff that there were no towels to dry hands add that they needed service them. We constantly needed to ask for ice for our room each day. We along with a number of guests got some sort of food poisoning and are now on antibiotics.

Incredible disappointment is an understatement
We recently stayed at Hammock Cove at the end of February 2025. I felt compelled to write this, as the stay could not be further from what is advertised from Hammock Cove. Hammock Cove is supposed to be a 5-star luxury resort with 5-star service, as per their social media and website. The service was nowhere near even close to 5 stars. The vast majority of employees were miserable and unfriendly. Below is what we experienced from a service perspective throughout our stay: -No greeting from bartenders at the lobby bar – they would just stare at you with an annoyed look on their face. -One instance at the lobby bar, we had to wait to order drinks until the bartender was done using her personal phone. -The service at Irina’s for lunch was unbelievably slow – during one lunch we ordered appetizers and an entrée. After finishing the appetizers (which took around 45 minutes to come out), we were asked if we wanted to put in entrees. We told the server that we already did, and his response was “Oh”.. extra points for him since he was the person who took the order in the first place. -The service at the beach and pool was atrocious/non-existent – on multiple occasions we ordered drinks that never came and on average food orders (a tiny pizza) would take an hour+ to be delivered. After experiencing this for a couple of days, we wondered if management tells the servers at the pool/beach not to approach guests unless they specifically ask for something (given the resort is all-inclusive and that would be a good way to increase margins). -A few days at the pool/beach we found chairs that had no covers or towels on them. When we asked for chair covers and towels, we were usually greeted with either a simple "no we ran out" OR a confused look and a “let me see”. When we finally were able to get chair covers, they were tossed onto the chair for us to do ourselves. -The concept of an “Ambassador Service” is nice, but it made getting simple things much harder than it had to be. One of the features marketed by Hammock Cove is a “fully stocked” bar. Though there were a few bottles of liquor provided there was no ice, which means every day when we wanted a drink in the room we needed to call the Ambassador for ice. There were several times the ice just did not show up. -Lastly, we booked the Escalade service through the hotel for our airport transfers ($360 round trip). Both on the way to the resort and on the way to the airport the driver was answering calls and texts, and screaming on his cell phone the entire ride. If this was a discount all-inclusive resort, some of the above might be expected, but Hammock Cove was supposed to be 5-star luxury. This was my wife’s 40th birthday trip and I chose Hammock Cove over many other “5-star resorts”. After all of the add-ons (premium wine at dinner, spa, etc), the cost of staying at Hammock Cover was over $14,000. That is a ton of money to pay to be frustrated every day. We would neither return nor recommend this to anyone.

5 stars!
What a treat this place was! Felt very Boutique and top notch service for relaxation. My husband put it in our top 2 vacations. Shout out to our Ambassadors Rondel and Kenya for making all of our requests painless. Food was top notch and manager Troy and chef Marco always checking on tne guests. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Mermaid Sanctuary
Hammock Cove Antigua Antigua Perfect Mermaid Sanctuary 998686340 Our first trip to Hammock Cove will not be our last. I absolutely love this place and am already thinking about coming back. We came for my birthday and won the trip at a silent auction for a charity. The rooms are so comfortable, each with its own private pool. Bed super comfortable and bar always stocked. We don’t drink alcohol so we had juice, water, sparkling water. This is the best resort on Antigua for sure. It’s intimate, quiet, and personal service through an ambassador phone you can use to call or text your personal assistant. The food — Michelin level at The Lighthouse. There are 3 restaurants and you can eat in any of them. It’s an all inclusive so nearly everything is included sans spa treatments. The spa is not to be missed though, specifically the bamboo massage. You will love this place.
