Sep 20, 2024"Very clean and courteous employees"
This is by far the best place to stay in San Juan. We spent three nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Pros: - Very good location close to the airport and many places to dine within walking distance. - Extremely (I mean) Extremely clean and always smelled so good. - Front desk, breakfast, pool bar and all employees were extremely polite and helpful. - Free continental breakfast. - Complementary managers reception. - Clean rooms and clean lobby area. - Food at the pool bar and grill was very good. Cons: - Limited dining options. - Managers, please do not allow guest to use portable speakers to the pool area. One night while my family and I were enjoying dinner by the pool area another guest came in with a portable speaker and was loudly listening to very "explicit content" music. This made my family a little uncomfortable and we left.

Bad experience. Could not connect to WiFi with three items, tried calling front desk and only received a busy signal. Tried to call outside phone line and was kept on hold from twenty minutes. So all evening I’m here with no WiFi, unable to contact front desk.

Great stay
Great location! Close to the airport and walking distance to restaurants, fast food and shops (cvs etc.). The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the Isla Verde beach where we have access to umbrellas and beach chairs. The hotel has “happy hour” every night with free drinks and snacks in the pool area. Breakfast had a wide variety (waffle maker, fruit, pastries, cereal, breads, eggs and different breakfast meats. There is a coffee station in the lobby that is open 24 hours. We were able to catch tour pickups, Ubers and cabs from outside of the hotel. The room itself was decent and had good cable. The staff were very helpful, friendly and always courteous.

Hampton Inn Isla Verde is very nice, you will enjoy your stay
I picked this hotel based on reviews from Trip Advisor. Reviews were correct, Hampton Inn Isla Verde was great. Ariana at the desk welcomed me with a smile, Arianna was quick, professional & personable at check in.. I was let in a few minutes early because I had no electricity at the airb&b I left. I had a King Suite, room was clean, TV's were big and worked good, nice channel selection, bathroom was good size, nice walk in shower. Breakfast was amazing!! good real food. 2 complimentary drinks at happy hour was nice, pool and swim up bar, soo nice!! Plenty of staff, professional and welcoming

This hotel was nice. A little further from the Royal Caribbean port about 5 miles but taxis are cheap. The hotel was clean. The beds were decent. The pool had a swim up pool bar which was nice but it is between two buildings and the sun gets blocked at certain times . The evening reception was nice with free drinks snacks were popcorn and peanuts. It’s close to many restaurants and stores within walking distance. The beach is about a 5-10 minute walk. The airport noise was not bad at all. Never heard it in my room and wasn’t bad at the pool area. The breakfast had a lot of selection and was pretty good. . I felt it was a decent hotel for the price including the amenities. Wouldn’t stay for a vacation because I didn’t like the beach and I don’t know how we would get beach chairs that were supposed to be included in resort fee and the fact sun was blocked in pool area at certain times. Otherwise, was a nice hotel.
