Jan 11, 2025Already planning my next trip back
We just got home from a 5 night stay at hideaways. I’m so thankful we stayed there. The location, cleanliness, and staff were amazing. We were so thankful for the on site restaurant, Splash. We ended up eating there 3 of the nights due to the other restaurants in walking distant being closed. I am already planning my next trip back!

Fantastic peaceful stay
From the most comfortable pillows and the biggest king size firm bed, the peaceful sleep and wonderful staff. I don’t know where to start but we had a bad experience in an air bnb on the island we came to this lovely resort and booked directly with them. They could only book us in for 3 nights but we liked it so much we booked another night away to return for our final two nights. The staff are super friendly and helpful and they offer a free shuttle service into Georgetown each day( even though we have our own rental this is a massive plus for people with no car) we have been all around the island and the location of this property trumps all others, massive plus for us is the location to other restaurants and bars and free kayaks!! Must places will charge you for rentals. The only thing I would add would be great to have is a fishing rod rental or even fishing line to fish kayak. Marvin is a great guy and as are all the staff and Cuban lady I didn’t catch her name.,look no further on Exuma the accommodation is super clean comfortable and location. Splash is a cool bar and fine dining in Augusta next door with top cocktails in the outside bar is a must. Further towards Georgetown but walking distance a great local music bar I think is called Conch bar n Grill was an open mic on Thursday. We will return again :)

Great Staff at the Hideaway
Great resort with truly friendly staff. Marvin goes above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable and have everything your family needs. Super nice gentleman. Also Rita from the front desk was great. Very helpful and informative. We stayed December 22-29.

How delightful! After a week at Hideaways in December 2024, we are already dreaming of a two-week return trip soon
How delightful! We spent a week in December 2024, and by the second day, we were already dreaming about a two-week return trip. The condo perfectly met our needs. We took full advantage of the beach chairs which made our beach days even more enjoyable. Hideaways truly excels in location, welcoming staff, and excellent amenities, not to mention the complimentary shuttles to and from Georgetown. The pool was always immaculate, with beach loungers and umbrellas ready for us. I suggest spending at least one day if not more at the Hideaways beach, we were so thankful for that! While the boat and island tours are enjoyable, staying on-site allowed us to snorkel, interact with stingrays, observe sea turtles, and explore a wealth of marine life. This also provided us with the chance to mingle with wonderful guests, savor lunch, and treat ourselves to a Piña Colada (or two) at the on-site restaurant, Splash.

Best customer service ever
We loved our room at Hideaways. We were in room 28 on the beach. Very clean, great layout for 4 people. 2 bed/2 bath. Keurig, toaster oven and full fridge and stovetop was great to have. Splash was great and Brenea, our waitress, drive us to the hospital, found us a jeweler and really went out of her way to help us after a ring got stuck on my daughter’s finger. Their free shuttle helped us get to Minns to rent our boat daily. Rita and the other front desk employees are WONDERFUL people. I cannot say enough about the customer service. The Hideaways is not a 5 star resort. It’s an island villa type place. Kind of like air bnb. But the employees really make this the best place to stay! I can’t wait to go back.
