    Construction beware

I am at the Hilton Aruba as I write this review. Please don't underestimate the the noise from the current construction. No matter where you are at the resort the construction noise is a nunase. There is construction in different parts of the hotel in addition to the new building construction. Hilton is under selling the issue. Please don't fall for it. If I had realized how much noise and other construction was presently going on I would have booked a different resort. There are too many great options in Aruba to be saddled with the construction at the Hilton. Not to mention, everything is still full priced. Truly considered other options so as not to deal with the noise. It's not a relaxing time with constant banging noise.

    A great trip

We just came home after spending 5 days at the Hilton. After reading some of the negative reviews here I decided it’s time to give the Hilton a positive review. Check in went very quickly and checkout also went quickly. Yes there was construction but I knew that before I went so it wasn’t a surprise. Yes it was a minor inconvenience but life is too short to dwell on minor inconveniences. We had breakfast every morning at the Laguna and it was fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fine. We had heard that there were so many great restaurants on the island so it did not bother us that there was only one restaurant open at the Hilton. The rooms were cleaned impeccably and the hotel itself was immaculate. I had a facial at the spa and it was very nice and very relaxing. Thank you Gloria. Relaxing by the pool or under a palapa was the greatest stress relief from every day worries or concerns. We even did pool aerobics with Roberto and he was charming and funny. We popped into the casino for a few minutes but since this was not meant to be a gambling trip we didn’t stay long. We always ended the evening having drinks and listening to music at the Sunset Bar. Would I go back? Most definitely.

    Don't even consider

Worst customer service. Worst rooms and Worst staff. Sue-Ann W. is the front desk is the worst person you can ever deal with. She has zero customer service skills and doesn't even know how to talk to people nicely. They need to hire better front desk staff and as well staff like Colis and Dwight who blindly follow without accessing what actually happened. Stay somewhere else.

    Construction Zone

12 hour flight and jet lag only to get to the front desk and ask for our Diamond member upgrade and be told unfortunately nothing is available . 3 days into our stay and all we can here is concrete being poured, men yelling, jackhammers going to work and that partial view unexisting. The pictures of the property are incorrect, and no where when I booked my room did it say construction zone and early wake ups. I have stayed at many Hilton hotel and this by far is so unpleasant. We love to drink our morning coffee on the patio but instead sit in our room. Aruba is a beautiful island but I would not stay at the Hilton. Such a waste of 320,000 points. I can’t wait to move hotels Friday.

    Great hotel!

We were originally supposed to stay somewhere else, but ended up booking with Hilton and we loved every minute of it. It was definitely a 10/10 experience. This hotel was very clean, updated, and full of activities! The property was beautiful with so much to do! And all the stuff were so nice and always helpful. I will 100% come back to this hotel the next time I come back to Aruba!
