WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
If I could give 0 stars I would. I recently stayed at the Hilton at Resorts World Bimini from October 13 to October 16, and I feel it's important to share my experience as a warning to future guests. Upon arrival, I learned about an unexpected internet outage due to storm damage, which wasn’t communicated to me beforehand (it had been out for a week by the time I arrived). The hotel had administrative internet access and could have easily informed guests in advance, which would have made a huge difference. Throughout my stay, I was moved between six different rooms due to broken air conditioning and mold odors. Frustratingly, no one had working room keys, so everyone had to rely on security to open our doors each time. Things took a turn on my birthday when I was locked out of my room due to a credit card dispute. I had already spoken to someone at the front desk who assured me I could pay at checkout, but the new agent denied that and insisted on immediate payment. I was hassled and kicked out of my room, despite the hotel already having my credit card information and charging me anyway. When I asked for my passport to resolve the situation, I was denied access to it. Being locked out and unable to retrieve my belongings was incredibly distressing. Additionally, the hotel experienced power outages that left the elevators nonfunctional, forcing me to navigate dark stairwells, which felt unsafe. Promised amenities, like the casino, were unavailable, and the lack of WiFi and functional air conditioning made for an uncomfortable stay. In the end, I had to sleep somewhere else, all over a resort fee. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. If you’re considering a stay, be aware of these significant issues.

Island Paradise
Beautiful island and lovely hotel along with it! We decided to book this trip from a Monday to Wednesday, and booked the entire trip (travel to Bimini and accommodations) through the Hilton Resort website. We flew in on Silver Air from FLL on Monday afternoon. The flight was smooth and easy, we had maybe 20 minutes of total air time. Upon landing, a taxi van was waiting for the plane and took everyone to the ferry dock for $5 per person (cash- USD is accepted). We got to the ferry and took one directly to the Hilton. It was beautiful and a smooth, short ride. The ferry was $10/person (you can pay on board with card, or pay ahead of time through the website). The Hilton was modern and sleek. It was clean and gleaming, and the pools and amenities were beautiful. The first room key we were given didn’t work but the man at the front desk was very friendly and got it fixed right away. We had a “lagoon view with balcony” and it was stunning. Everything in the resort was walking distance- but it is hot and humid (so be prepared!) We did take the “free shuttle” back from the hotel beach club, and decided to rent a golf cart the next day. The front desk pointed us to do so. As said in other reviews, the food and drinks at the resort were a bit pricey, but we were expecting it and not thrown off by it! The casino is small but neat- it was never too busy when we were there, which was perfect for us. I’m assuming that weekends and big cruise ship visits likely change that, but for a quiet couples trip it was perfect the way it was! We rented a golf cart with cash (USD) in the fisherman’s village area, and explored the island with it! Radio beach is a neat spot, and there are some local restaurants that are more easily reached with a golf cart. There is also a small local beach directly North of the Resorts World Beach club, which was so cool to see. We loved the rooftop Infiniti pool, and the pool that borders the “lagoon” side of the hotel. Both were the perfect temp for the weather, clean, and the perfect blue. Overall, this was a perfect place for a couples trip!

Great Resort - adjust expectations for the island as a whole
Bimini - the Hilton Resort World is beautiful and looks exactly as the website shows. The island is safe, very small (9 square miles) and not much to do. It is a great place if you are able to go slow, kick back and moderate expectations. There is no sidewalk off resort property so walking is a challenge and you have to watch for traffic. The restaurants off property may be little shacks, which can have some amazing food, just be prepared for the "casualness" of it. And don't mistake casual for inexpensive as everything is more on the expensive end. Also of note, we learned "cracked shrimp" is fried shrimp, and was delicious everytime we had it! Golf Cart - We did rent a golf cart spontaneously and that was a challenge and we had two of them that broke down. Fisherman's village has the golf carts, and there is an organized structure and a reservation process that we would do if we did it again. We just went with one of the many independent golf cart "hawkers" and would suggest staying away from those in general and particularly "Chris/Bougie" who was not nice and his carts were junk. Due to a pending storm we were unable to go to Memory Ledge or those places. We snorkeled on our own and had a great time, including close contact with a shark! The "shipwreck" is a very small battered hull. Surf shoes are very helpful for some of the beaches as they are rocky.

My worst hotel experience!
I do not even know where to start but I'll make sure that this is an objective rather than an emotional review. I staid at the Resort for 3 nights to celebrate my significant other's birthday. The location is decent but it has no direct access to a beach which is slightly inconvenient (thus the 4 stars on location.) They do offer a free shuttle to the beach that runs every 15 minutes. The rooms are clean and decent but nothing special. I'd expect more for $500 per night. I should mention that the island itself is absolutely gorgeous. No question about that. That leads me to the main reason I'm writing this review. During day 2 of our stay, we went to the beach and we were turned back by the beach club security guard who stated that "the beach is ***Closed*** for a private event"!?! Needless to say, going to a beach resort and not being allowed to the beach is beyond absurd. What's worse is the attitude that we got from front desk and management when we questioned that... I was literally told that this is something that's listed on the resort website but I booked my stay through Hilton.com and I was never notified of any beach closure. If I was, I'd never book my stay in the first place for obvious reasons. One of the managers even asked "How come I do not research the country I'm visiting" implying that IU should've been on their website regardless of where I booked my trip!!?!?!??! In other words, I was basically scammed not receiving the main amenity I paid for. We were not offered any sort of refund, credit, or even an apology. On top of that, the place is a total rip off but that's my opinion. Most of the staff with 1 or 2 exceptions, looked completely disinterested in providing service at all. Lastly, as if this was not enough, despite my total amount for the stay was $2000 per the bill the hotel issued me, I saw charges of $3700 on my bank account!?! When I called to dispute the charges, they simply told me that they do not see/could not explain the $1680 charge made on day 3 of my stay that was clearly made from the same hotel. They said that it's probably a credit card hold?!?! Well, it was not a hold, it was a charge and I'm not disputing it through the financial institution and I'll get my money back since I have a bill that says 2k in my hand but I still need to go though the trouble and I need to wait on top of that... Please, if you respect yourself , AVOID this place at all costs!!! Lastly, be aware of tourist traps EVERYWHERE! When we first checked in, I asked the front desk where we could rent a golf cart as it's a thing on that island, the response was go to fishermen's village. I asked where that was and they responded that it's "not too far away" but we could take a taxi if we needed to. Given that we were completely unfamiliar with the island at that point, we went right outside of the revolving doors of the hotel where a couple of cars were obviously waiting for customers. I asked the 1st driver about pricing and he said he would drive us to Fisherman's Village for $10. I agreed and we got into the car. He drove us literally 150 FEET away which we could've walked to in about 45-60 seconds. It's bizarre that neither the front desk was clear about the close proximity of the place, not the driver would advise us that we obviously need nothing but our feet and 40 seconds to get there. It's all a shame because the island is truly beautiful! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Terrible Hilton
I booked through Balearia. No refunds, $1881 dollars for 3 nights at Hilton including the ship ride. First I must say, Balearia has terrible customer service. Checked in at Hilton. They made me sign a paper explaining the beach would be close one day while I was there. What could I do, I was already there and there was no refunds. I was never informed by Balearia when I purchased the package. The room was $300 a night. WIFI was so bad I couldn't use the internet. The shower was terrible no pressure. The rug under the bed was filthy. The sliding doors to the balcony were so hard to open and close. Water was leaking out of the ceiling over the toilet. It was also leaking over the sinks. Falling on our heads. The lights were wired incorrectly it was shorting the lights out. You had to flip them on and off to get them to work. Both ATMs in the resort were broken. I had to go the other end of the island to get cash. Hilton gouges their customers doubling everything. They try to say it the whole island. But actually the south part of the island is half the price. It shouldn't be operating under the Hilton name. I have stayed at better 2 star hotels.
