Vacation trip
Visited from 12/8 to 12/11, staff was very pleasant and friendly, they helped with what they thought to be correct at the time we asked questions. Apparently we visited during what they consider to be there slow season. None of the amenities like the spa, gift shop, and restaurant are open during this time, or only on limited days. If they would publicly post the dates of availability it would make it easier. Pools have an amazing view on the 5th floor but are not heated, so they were super cold and not able to enjoy them. Sorry I don’t like cold water pools. So we decided to go to the Beach Club instead. If the hotel would take the time to heat the pools just a little bit then more people would enjoy the pool and the swim up bar would be busy. Best part of the trip was we rented a gulf cart and drove down Radio Beach and swam in the ocean and even stopped interacted with some local people and learned about “conch”. Had an amazing time, highly recommended

Great experience at the Hilton Bimini
Excellent hotel. The room with a view to the pool and ocean is breath taking! Ask to be on the 4th floor:) The pools are nice and clean. Food is great as well, somehow expensive but worth it. The hotel includes a shuttle to take you to the beach, shops and ferry.

Beautiful Island, not a lot to do
We took the ferry from Fort Lauderdale to visit Hilton Resorts World Bimini over the Thanksgiving weekend. The resort is very nice and well decorated. They have a beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby and Christmas music playing over the loud speaker. We arrived around 11:30 AM after disembarking the ferry. My husband is Hilton diamond, so they could have given us a room at that time, but if we were willing to wait, we could get an upgraded Lagoon front view with a balcony. We waited for the upgrade. Our room was very nice. It was very clean, had a nice big shower, a couch, and a balcony with two chairs and a small table. With my husband's diamond status, we received full buffet breakfast every morning. There was also an omelet/made to order eggs station included. Food and drinks were pretty pricey, so we appreciated not having to pay for one meal a day. There is a small casino. Next to the hotel is Fisherman's Village, which is actually run by the hotel, so food and drinks weren't any cheaper. There is a very nice beach club, also run by the resort, so once again, food and drink are quite pricey. The best deal was a large cup (maybe 24 oz.) that after an initial $31 purchase, including the tropical cocktail, was only $15 to refill, and I could take it back each day. I could also get it filled for $15 in the resort casino/sports bar. The food, in spite of the price, was very tasty. We ate in the sports bar, the sushi restaurant, we had the special Thanksgiving Day dinner in the main restaurant, and we had pizza. Service throughout the resort is pretty good. We only ran into a couple of slightly grumpy staff. For the most part, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. A couple of things to keep in mind before visiting is to be sure and check the cruise port schedule. Only one cruise ship at a time can dock in Bimini. The beach club is big enough with plenty of chairs, so if a cruise ship is in port, it's not a big deal to share the beach club with cruise passengers. If a Virgin cruise ship is in port, however, the beach club is closed to everyone else, including paying Hilton Resorts World Guests. Also, Fisherman's Village is closed when no cruise ships are in port, and when they are in port, it closes at 5:00PM. We definitely enjoyed our trip to Bimini, but 4 nights were plenty as there isn't a lot to do. The beach is beautiful, and it's a great low-key get-a-way.

Would not stay here again
We took the ferry from Ft Lauderdale for a 2 night mini vacation. The hotel looks nice upon arrival but we had to be moved from our room because we had no water pressure or AC. The food is outrageously overpriced for the lack of quality and an automatic 18% gratuity is added to every bill, even for a buffet breakfast at Tides restaurant where we got our own food. The food is NOT good at this hotel. I agree with other reviews that most of the staff is not very friendly or helpful. We were also notified upon arrival that we could not use the beach the following day because of a private event , which was allowing the Virgin cruise guests access to what we already paid for. That was also very frustrating. I would not stay at this resort again.

Island expectations & tips for fun
I wanted to write a review to give context to some of these negative reviews & to keep an open mind to what this gorgeous island has to offer. First like i said, it’s an island. Sometimes the electric goes out, the ac struggles & internet is sketchy. BECAUSE THESE ARE CARIBBEAN ISLAND TYPICAL ISSUES! So keep that in mind & pack patience, if you can’t then do not go!! If this has not detered you so far & here’s the fun part… Their off season is the winter, we basically had the whole island to ourselves. Not everything was going on every night but the casino & golf cart adventuring fills the time. Drinking & eating is only 18+ We flew on Silver Airways with a backpack & carry-on bag from Ft Laud to Bimini, the flight was 20 mins. It was the easiest international process & flight, ever!! For the price & process def use this airline! Just make sure to link your email to your account so you get updates, they do not have an app. The Hilton is lovely! Rooms are great, but know right away if your ac is struggling def tell the front desk for a room change, do not wait, it won’t get better. With salt + humidity no matter the hotel brand its hard to keep up, but the staff tries real hard to keep you happy. The power flickered once, the rooms & internet were effected but nothing in the lobby or amenities. The pool on the bottom floor & roof are amazing, clean & great bar service. For sure get a golf cart, we got a 6 seater for $130/day, but the smaller ones are $75-90, use Sue & Joy co bc theirs are newer & a legit company. You can drive end to end on the island in 15-20 mins. It’s worth the drive to see all the different towns & beaches. Places to go: -Koko Palms: drinks, food, music, water front, super relaxing & gorgeous! -Smittys: fresh conch salad -Big Game Marina: lots of sharks in marina to see, good conch salad, drinks, views -Sushi Bar (in Hilton): the best rolls!! -Radio Beach: they cut coconuts & serve drinks in them. It gets rowdy but to drive up & ride around with your coconut is an island vibe! -360 Beach: gorgeous picturesque views, shaded restaurant, beachfront The casino is a lot of fun, be sure to get a rewards card & use the card for slots AND the tables. You accrue points quick & can earn meals & ferry rides back to the island! This was a great trip & my family made some great core memories. So much so we are already planning our return trip!
