  Incredible Location, Shockingly Outdated Rooms

  The location is stunning — that is what you are paying for. The water, snorkeling, and mountain views are exceptional. Unfortunately, the overwater bungalows feel tired and overdue for renovation. The interiors appeared worn, with discoloration along parts of the hardwood flooring that raised concerns about moisture. After running the air conditioning the first night, I developed significant congestion and a cough — disappointing, especially since this was a Valentine’s Day trip we booked back in October 2025. We are Hilton Gold members and were surprised by the overall experience. We were assigned an accessible room (not by request) and told the hotel was sold out while accommodating guests from other nearby properties. The bathroom layout offered virtually no privacy, had no bathtub, and was configured in a way that required one of us to leave the room to use the facilities comfortably. Another frustration was the lack of basic morning coffee service. When we approached the breakfast restaurant to purchase a simple cup of coffee, we were told coffee was only available with the full buffet. At this price point, not offering coffee, light pastries, or any à la carte option was surprising. At this level and under the Hilton brand, we expected far better room quality and guest consideration. The setting is exceptional, but the accommodations and service did not reflect that. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as the property’s location deserves accommodations and service that truly match it.

  A never come conclusion

  I booked this Hilton hotel in Moorea. In fact, ten months ago, I initially reserved the Bora Bora Conrad, but that hotel decided to renovate in February, so they canceled my reservation and recommended that I experience another Hilton hotel in Tahiti. As a result, I chose this one, partly because there aren’t many options on Moorea. However, this has been the worst Hilton I’ve stayed at in the last decade. From the time I completed the booking until the day before check-in, no one contacted me. Yesterday, I realized that I needed additional transportation from the airport to the hotel, so I emailed the hotel, but no one replied. I also asked the concierge at my previous hotel to call them, but there was still no response. Finally, around 9 p.m., someone answered the phone and arranged a taxi for me. Upon arriving at the hotel, the front desk staff were all busy and completely ignored me. A gentleman eventually assisted me with check-in but did not mention my membership status or any benefits. The room assigned to me was exactly what I had booked, and it was even located at the edge of the hotel. I tried to ask if I could have a one-hour late checkout, but I was rejected. When I inquired about booking a taxi to the ferry terminal and purchasing ferry tickets, he provided no answers either. After check-in, we headed to our room at the edge of the hotel. The staff promised that our luggage would be delivered to the room by a porter. However, my wife and I waited for half an hour with no progress. I returned to the front desk and found the staff chatting happily, while my luggage was still sitting in the same spot. I had no choice but to drag the heavy suitcases to the room myself, and the path there was not very convenient, and I even been questioned by a staff saying “where are you going?” I understand that Hilton Diamond members are no longer the top-tier elite members, but I thought it still meant something. This has been my worst Hilton experience this year and the worst hotel experience overall. I would never recommend this place to my friends.

  Not impressive by service

  I found ants on my plate; the manager replaced it but put the ant-affected baguette back. We totally lost our appetite. 🤮

  Relaxing, dreamy paradise

  Location dreamy and fabulous . Atmosphere very friendly and relaxed, we were made very welcome. Our room was close to all the amenities and the private small pool was private and ideal for cooling off. It was good value for money, but could have benefitted from less expensive shops, and an ice-cream shop.
