Feb 11, 2026Tired resort but amazing snorkelling
Arrived at hotel at 11am & despite it being low season & the resort being very quiet there was still no flexibility on the 2pm access to our room. Our overwater bungalow was tired, although the bathroom appeared to have been refurbished - the bath having been removed resulting in a huge wet room space. The saving grace was the amazing snorkelling straight off our rather shabby deck. We are not big breakfast people. A coffee plus fruit or a croissant is all we look for . Only breakfast option was to pay the big bucks for the buffet. The cafe by the pool started serving drinks at 10am but no pastries or other breakfast offerings . We did enjoy the crepes from the over water restaurant & the buffet at the local show night was impressive. The whole food offering needs a rethink. Only 1 restaurant offering lunch. Hopefully this resort is on the Hilton’s list for a make over

We had a great experience at the Hilton. We did arrive early and wasn’t allowed to check in at that time. They did allow us to shower at the gym, use the pool and full access to the facilities. The rooms were available right at 2:00 and lucky us we got a free upgrade. The food at the bar was great, we had pizza and the tuna/poke. The free beverages in your fridge were great and the free snorkeling gear was amazing and so MANY FISH to see. They allowed us to use the facilities again when we checked out at 11:00 am and didn’t leave until 4/00. Used the showers in the gym and saved $200 by not using the late check out option. Rented a car for 24 hours from the hotel which was super convenient and easy! We used the free shuttle to Rudy’s for dinner twice! They pick you up take you to dinner and bring you back. Would recommend and definitely would stay at the Hilton again.

Wonderful Honeymoon and Vacation
Absolutely wonderful experience at the Hilton Moorea. Staff are so incredibly friendly and the property and accommodations were amazing. Can’t say enough about the professionalism and the ongoing hospitality to ensure your stay is enjoyable and comfortable. We stayed in both the over the water bungalows and the Deluxe Garden bungalow with the plunge pool. Enjoyed both immensely. Snorkeling 🤿 during the stay at the overwater bungalows was awesome and very enjoyable. Would highly recommend the hotel and views all around are breathtaking.

10-day honeymoon trip. Stayed in over the water bungalows and deluxe suite with private plunge pool. Both were great.

Fabulous stay!
Beautiful experience with wonderful food. The island is so lush and full. The maids took care of the room everyday. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The only thing I would update was a little wear and tear on the wood but to be expected next to the ocean.
