Great rooms, views, staff, and location…just avoid eating here!
A perfectly acceptable and enjoyable Waikiki hotel with lots to recommend a stay here. Comfortable rooms and beds, jaw dropping views. of the water and beach from the room and the balcony which can only be described as memorable. Fair pricing as well for the location and amenities. Staff were warm, friendly, and always helpful and courteous. A convenient location to the beach and nearby shops served us well. I would have given it another star were it not for the mediocre (at best) restaurant where we had breakfast every morning and a lunch. Having stayed here once before, the on site restaurant at that time was terrific. Sadly, those days are no more. Mix ups in the kitchen on multiple orders, a pizza that tasted like it came straight from the freezer before being baked, etc, left us with a bad taste, literally. the wait staff were great. The food was not. We had free breakfast and I usually never complain about anything “free,” but I have to make an unfortunate exception at this hotel. Just eat somewhere else and you’ll have a great time.

Worse than a 3-star hotel
The hotel is more close to a 2 start hotel trying to make up by wearing an expensive belt. The customer service is just rude and it felt like I was a nuisance to them. Food was subpar and completely disjointed from the price. Infrastructure is not only old, but it looks like it lacks maintenance. The airport shuttle that they're partnered with will leave you stranded in the airport, not reply any emails or phone calls. Room amenities are lacking, basic stuff like bedroom slippers, toothpaste, proper soap, razor. Even a budget hotel like premiere inn would offer these. There's not a single microwave in the entire hotel, which is actually funny. The bar closes very early, which makes the pool experience kinda pointless in a holiday, and the bar fridge is miniscule.

Comfortable room, great location, no noise.
Came to Honolulu for a weekend. This Hilton is located off the main road and beach, but totally walking distance from everything. I had the 36th floor with an amazing view! Neighbors smoked marijuana from their balcony, so you couldn’t keep the balcony door open if they were outside. Never a line or a wait for the elevators. The hotel provided beach towels and chairs, I also got a nice tote bag to keep from the concierge. Lobby bar drinks were awful, but luckily ABC store was around the corner.

Terrible restaurant
The hotel was comfortable with a nice pool. But the restaurant is terrible. I had a B&B tariff but was told very firmly on the first morning that it only included 1 drink. I think it was a language issue. On my last evening I had dinner there, I ordered nachos and then the ribs, the waiter had the temerity to suggest that was a lot of food ☹️ it’s difficult to get nachos wrong but they came covered in a disgusting sauce (that was supposed to be cheese) it made me gag 🤢 to add injury the ribs arrived before I had finished my starter. There were on two other tables occupied and now I know why. The service was as disgusting as the food
