    Great Airport Hotel

    I booked this hotel last minute due to a change in my schedule and I needed a good, clean, safe hotel near the airport. This hotel fit the bill! It was a $3 Uber ride from the airport, I could have walked it, but chose not to since I had large bags with me.....I was welcomed and they had my paid in full reservation from a 3rd party site....No issues at all. Because I was there hours before Check In, I had to wait...No problem because they had a place with plug ins where I could set up my laptop and work while I waited...The wait was shortened as they found me a room 1 1/2 hrs before the check in time....You can pay extra and check in as soon as you arrive in many cases....My room was large, clean and comfy beds....This location is about 10 minutes from the Marina with lots of restaurants and right next to the steakhouse and across the street from a strip mall with several places to eat....I found an outdoor Mexican restaurant that I was able to walk to and was really good and affordable....Take cash as some places do not take credit cards....They do take USD. Excellent one night stay and highly recommended.

    Bed bug infestation room 123

    Worst experience ever. The hotel staff didn’t show any sympathy or concerns whatsoever. Came back to about 40 bites from the bed bug infestation. Not to mention I had to throw away luggage and visit a hospital upon my return to the states. The hotel hasn’t taken any responsibility from this incident and refuses to refund me. I have seriously been suffering from this mentally and physically. Please don’t stay here. Reconsider another option.

    Nice IHG in PV

    This hotel was nice, comfortable and clean. It offers a free breakfast which is always a great way to start the day. The beds were very comfortable. It is conveniently located near the airport and marina. The pool was nice however we were disappointed that the hot tub was not working properly. It was inconvenient also to have to visit the front desk to obtain beach towels and return them since this is a lengthy process when you have to wait in line with people who are checking in. The staff were friendly.

    Honest review: don’t stay here

    1. First room they assign 421 had a soap bar used in the shower with pubic hair, and a dirty blue sponge, and head&shoulders spilled. Seems last customer was in a hurry and hotel staff didn’t clean it at all. 2. Bed linens are wrinkled and looks like someone jumped in the bed after making it. 3. They moved me to 316 and towels had makeup on them. 4. Hotel staff were only giving excuses without actually addressing satisfaction, comfort and cleanliness. 5. Bed linens were also wrinkled. 6. AC wasn’t working properly. I set it at 23C overnight and was working at 19C fixed. Gave me a strong headache next morning. 7. Coffee maker wasn’t working it spills everywhere except the cup. 8. They only give you 1 bottle of water… 9. Room service is QUITE UNFRIENDLY and needs more manners. They just don’t give a dime about customer care. When I called they just asked what I wanted and when I was telling them they yelled to hold because they were on another call and 15% gratuity is MANDATORY (lady was very clear about this) however that’s illegal in Mexico. 10. I asked for my invoice on my check-out and haven’t received anything yet. 11. They didn’t use my IHG reservation and didn’t add any IHG rewards to my account! OVERALL CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL PLEASE. Not worth it.

    Keep all receipts!

    The room was clean, check in clerk was friendly and the breakfast was not bad at all. Those are the positives. For the not-so-positive: I didn't get the room that I reserved despite booking directly from my IHG account but it was late for my arrival and with it being just one night, I didn't bother to see if my room type was there. There were no face cloths in the bathroom so that was a bit of a surprise. When I showered the next morning the water only got to a lukewarm temperature and that took about five minutes. My biggest concern, hence the title, was on check-out. The check out agent told me that the gentleman from the night before only charged me 180 pesos to my credit card where it should have been 1800. Thankfully, I keep every receipt and told her, "you are incorrect and I just happen to have the receipt of what was billed to my credit card; let me show you". Not only was I billed correctly, but it was 1863 pesos. It bothered me that a) if I didn't have this receipt, I would have had to pay again and then dispute the charge later with the credit card company and b) that there was such incompetence that one staff member was calling into question the working ability of the other. The gentlemen that checked me in billed me properly so I am not sure how their internal communication and record keeping got so screwed up. Needless to say, that left a bad taste in my mouth and made this hotel appear to be unprofessional and subject perhaps to scamming people which is not a good impression for a guest to leave with. Further, when the check-out agent was shown the evidence, she didn't even apologize but rather abruptly stated that she wanted to make a copy. I obliged but not after taking a pic in case somehow it was dropped and not returned. Regardless, though close to the airport, I would not stay here again but instead another in the area which I have done before.
