Great Spot to use Points
Good hotel. Nice rooms with comfortable beds and AC that works. Very pleasant front desk staff. Their beach club is a wonderful amenity. A short couple of blocks walk to the beach and you're provided with beach chairs, umbrella, and a towel. Weak breakfast with an odd system that requires you to ask an attendant for your food. (?) There is no fan in the bathroom which is a shame given the humidity levels in San Juan. The cheapest rate is still very high, and then the taxes and fees really up the price, so if you have the points, use them.

Poor surprise
I was surprised as to how different the property was to the TA reviews and pictures. I have over 3,000 TA contributions and I respect their reviews. It was advertised as “newly renovated “. That was a surprise to Me when I saw lumpy tired cushions on the lobby furniture. I had spoken to the manager prior to our travel. She suggested that I call close to our arrival to check room assignments. I called several times, she was “busy” as well as never returned my calls. There was a large hole In the ceiling by the elevator. I found that the property had sidewalks in poor condition all around and the area was very run down with those same views out of The windows. I found many of the pictures to not represent what I found. I will never retain this property.

San Juan
Nice hotel located outside of old San Juan. Great location, close to multiple restaurants, casino and a beach.

Hidden Fees
When I got there, I was charged fees that I didn’t agree to when I pre-paid for the trip. Also, it’s very loud. There’s a fan in the bathroom that runs all night and it’s hard to sleep with it. Everything else was like OK but mediocre and so it was really overpriced for what I got

Nice stay for pre cruise
We arrived a day before a cruise departure and wish we could have stayed longer. A nice are and we felt very safe on a short walk around the area before heading to the cruise terminal.
