Amazing family holiday
We had such an amazing family holiday at this hotel! There were 8 of us ranging from 6 to 74! The places is huge (and quite hilly, so something to bare in mind!) The rooms were very spacious and clean, and the shower was really powerful. It is a very large hotel so we did get lost trying to find our room sometimes! The whole place is spotless and there are always staff cleaning. There are plenty of food options, a main buffett plus 3 restaurants; an asia, a grill and an Italian. My only slight critism is that I wish the 3 restaurants were al a carte. I would have liked to have all eaten at the same time and to be served our meals. The food was great, but we do wish that they werent all buffet style. But apart from that we cant fault it. All the pools were great, and we did aqau gym everyday! My neice had great fun doing all the kids activities. The Neon RIU party was an absolute highlight of our trip. We would return here just for that! We love a good dance and it was so fun! The effort the staff went to was amazing!! They all work so hard. All staff were so friendly at the hotel, special shoutout to Jesus in Atlantico, he was so lovely! We all miss him! The hotel is in a quiet part of the island, but there is a little shopping centre called the Rosa Centre 5 minutes up the hill out the front of the hotel, we went a few times it was lovely. You can walk out of the back of the hotel and follow the path to the left, and find another row of your typical holiday shops/bars. The sunsets from the back of the hotel are gorgeous because you are right on the seafront We also got a taxi to Playa de las Americas for 25 euros, it was a nice little morning out. We are already looking at going back next year. We all had an amazing time! X

Disadvantages and advantages
Warning Muslim people to stay away from this hotel or at least not order all inclusive! Me and my family almost ate pizza margherita every day...as most of the menus had pork meat and there were no good alternatives. The main restorant is ok for breakfast but the other restorant Atlantica is horrible! Cold bad food, little selection and only pork. At breakfast yesterday there was only ham. The waitress first said that "we will only have cheese", but after our reaction she went and got us some turkey. The same applies to dinner, two nights in a row with far too many pork specialties and only one portion or no chicken, beef or turkey! Fortunately there is a lot of fish and this saves our holiday but we come from Norway and so to speak we do not miss seafood. The resort is a 4 star resort but here you lack toothbrushes and indoor slippers. Take them with you if you need. There is no indoor pool but we showed this from earlier. A small area with a pool for children, otherwise no rooms with games or activities. Gym equipment is a bit worn and makes a lot of noise while you work out. Soda is mixed with water and you get half a glass of CC/half water. Otherwise, there is plenty of space and several sun loungers outside. The room is big enough. Many activities during the day. Nice program in the evening. The beach is right outside but it is a very small beach with large rocks and little space for swimming. We are still here and hope that the days ahead will be better. All in all, I could consider it a 3 star hotel and no more than that.

Another brilliant stay
From our check-in to our checkout, our stay was without a doubt lovely. The room, as always was spotless, the staff very friendly, happy and helpful.

Lovely hotel
This was our second visit to this hotel. It's a lovely hotel, mainly families with young children or older couples (really not suitable for teenagers, young adults, I would think that they would be bored). There's a mixture of nationalities. It's all inclusive but (perhaps because of the age of the guests) we didn't see anyone the worse for alcohol. We sat in the La Gomera bar every evening watching the sun go down, it was perfect. Our main disappointment was with our room. We had paid for a sea view room and last year we overlooked the sea, and could hear the waves. This time we were given a room towards the back of the hotel which overlooked the restaurant and entertainment area - OK, you could still see the sea, but it wasn't the same at all (this was with TUI). We were very lucky that the hotel agreed that we could change rooms but that uncertainty would make us unlikely to book again We didn't have any issue with the food but the main restaurant Yaize has by far the best selection. We ate at the Atlantic a few times because of the view but we preferred the flexibility of the main restaurant. We were disappointed with the entertainment. Circus acts, jugglers, contortionists - all very talented but not particularly enjoyable. I would have thought that more acts like the Queen tribute band that we saw would go down better. And the RIU party was fabulous! Thank you to all the staff for making our trip so enjoyable.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location
A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The beds were comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. Food was good with plenty of choice at all meals. The speciality restaurants were also very good. The hotel is built on a hill and the promenade around the seafront has a few hilly parts as well, a point to consider if your mobility is not good, but otherwise the walks along the sea front were lovely.
