    Phenomenal hotel

    Beautiful hotel in downtown Panama City. Great pool and restaurant facilities. Wonderful staff. The room and bed were very comfortable.

    High quality at an affordable price

    We enjoyed spending the last two nights of our trip at the Hotel Riu Plaza Panama because it's modern, comfortable, and has friendly service. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and stays open longer than most hotels. However it only had basic coffee. The 24-hour store in the lobby includes a French bakery. For the free airport shuttle, you must join their free loyalty program and stay at least 3 nights, booking at least 1 week in advance. We booked this "top tier" hotel because it was cheaper than comparable hotels and we're glad we did. Our Viator tour picked us up at 6:15 AM just before the breakfast opened at 6:30 AM, but at least the lobby store was open.

    Girls Trip

    So much fun. RIU Plaza was a perfect pick for our girls trip. 14 ladies with hardly any complaints is no easy feat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good. Accommodations were comfortable. Be mindful of power connections. Different types available.

    Nice Hotel 🏨

    It is a nice big hotel 🏨 with a good breakfast menu and has a good facilities for all guests. The rooms are in need of upgrading as some are a bit dated and have a specific smell. Otherwise it is a good place to stay in Panama 🇵🇦 city.
