For business purpose visit
This is a business purpose trip. The office is 15 ~ 20 min by Uber ride or 35 ~ 40 min by walk . The hotel is perfect distance when I want to take a chance to enjoy the March weather in Miami after the work. This is a convenience location restaurants, coffee shops, and local markets are all within 3 ~ 10 min walking distance.

Short stay - wished it was longer.
Recently stayed during the week at this wonderful hotel that’s up to par with what I’d expect from a Hyatt property. Rooms are nice sized, just wished I had booked one with a balcony that overlooked the pool. I originally thought the hotel was 50+ years old, but learned it was built not too long ago and was recently renovated. Hyatt also did a great job of designing a hotel that architecturally fits the area. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance is also a plus.

Classic , Lovely Hotel
The hotel is beautiful and classic. We have stayed many times because our son went to U Miami for grad school and now works in the Keys. It is one of our favorite hotels in the US. TIP: If you have a feather allergy, you should ask for extra padding as the bed and pillows are very hard without feathers.

hyatt gives guests rooms that stink like vomit
I was initially sent to 645. The room was disgusting. As soon as I entered, there was a putrid stench. I first thought the cleaning staff used a dirty rag, but the surfaces were not the culprit, nor was linen or curtains stinking. It turns out, the offensive odor was from the carper leading all the way to the bathroom. Given that it was spring break, most likely previous guest vomited on the carpet and the stench soaked in. It could also have been from stale wet gym clothes or beach/pool towels left on carpet for an extended time, but more likely it was vomit. the carpet was wet and stained to either housekeeping or the guest had done a coverup job. The sofa seat also had dirt caked in. Never have i been given such a dump of a putrid room, and Hyatt should be ashamed of doing this to a guest who visits several times a year for several days, let alone to anyone. to make matters worse, when immediately asked to be moved to a different room I was pressured by the front desk to stay in that room until i made it quite clear this was completely unacceptable, and would leave otherwise, then i was moved to a room that finally had basic acceptable levels of cleanliness i.e., it smelled fresh and did not stink. the kicker came when a manager later sent me an email apologizing the initial room was not to my approval (seriously, giving a stinking room is never okay) and pretending i was moved to a more spacious room -- no -- i was moved to 728, the same size room, and if it was any smaller i would be sleeping in the bathroom. overall, hyatt, this is foul. i can still recoil when i imagine your stench, and no decent apology is still forthcoming. disgraceful.

I attended a conference for work and the experience did not disappoint. Facilities were exceptional
The facilities are beautiful, staff exceptionally friendly and courteous. The amenities are thoughtful and very area focused. My room was spacious and well designed. The property is elegant without being intimidating. The staff went out out of it's way to make one feel welcome
