My stay was affected by the strong, old carpet smell throughout the hallways and in my room. It’s a stale odor that you notice immediately when entering, and it doesn’t go away, which made the room feel less clean and comfortable. The service was fine and the location is good, but the smell really took away from the overall experience. I recommend a deep cleaning or replacing the carpets to improve the stay for future guests.

Not what I normally get from a Hyatt . Rooms dated, water pressure low, rooms need painting,, need some amenities. Very disappointed

Rooms and hotel in need of updating/repair Zero soundproofing between neighbouring rooms. Can hear intimate moments from neighbouring rooms at all times of day and night.

I stayed at Hyatt from October 31 to November 4. When I arrived for breakfast on November 2, I had to wait in a queue to be seated by an hotel staff member, a black woman named CANDY. Unsurprisingly, many guests wish to seat next to the river view. She will seat every guest arriving before and after me next to the river but when she had to seat me, she will seat me next to the entrance and INSIST that there’s nowhere else for me to seat because the place is full (“Don’t you see that we are full?!), and then she will seat all the guests arriving immediately after me next to the river. When I told her that there’s plenty of free tables next to the river she responded with an angry tone “ok so go seat there!”, when I asked why did she told me the place is full when it was clearly not, she turned her back on me. Not even apologizing. This disgraceful discriminatory behavior have no place in hospitality let alone a reputable brand like Hyatt. I paid like any other guest and I don’t deserve to be treated like this. Shame on you Hyatt.
