    Great experience and highly recommend

Stayed here 3 nights prior to a cruise with family, and to explore Miami. I was a bit hesitant to book here after reading some reviews, but both my adult daughter's have stayed here and said it was great. They were right. Got checked in right away, had a gorgeous view of the river & fancy yachts going by, had dinner twice at the onsite restaurant and enjoyed great food & our waitress' service, and the location was excellent. Under 5 minute walk to Whole Foods for snacks, nice riverfront boardwalk, and close uber rides to south beach and the pier. The price was right and the rest of our group stayed there as well before the cruise. All 3 rooms were super clean (and I'm picky) and we got free daily housekeeping. Yes, it's a bit noisy (it is a city) but Hyatt provides a white noise machine & complimentary earplugs which worked well. My friend saw a dolphin and giant colorful iguana walking the river boardwalk one morning. The only minor room issue was the bathtub - water came out from both the spout below & shower head at the same time. Not a bid deal. I also left my electric toothbrush in the room after boarding the cruise. It accidentally got discarded, but the employee I talked to offered to compensate me for a replacement -or- get Hyatt points as an alternative, without me even asking. I wasn't expecting anything as it was my own fault, but this Hyatt employee extended excellent customer service. Would stay here again! If you get a chance, definitely rent bikes and do the boardwalk on South Beach - safe (no cars, bikes/pedestrians only), beautiful beach, lots of restaurants nearby, and check out the Lincoln Mall for shopping. The following restaurants were both excellent: Osteria da Fortunata -and- Versailles Cuban Cuisine.

    Avoid This Hotel During 2024-2025

Staying at this hotel was not a pleasant experience. My advice is: Avoid this hotel until you are sure some of the problems are gone. Here are the reasons: 1) The hotel rooms look tired and needs some well needed attention, because of the state of the furniture in the first room I got, they upgraded my room to a better room (facing the river - read on) 2) Major construction work going on the other side of the river opposite to the hotel. This means the better side of the hotel is useless during the day 3) The swimming pool is ignored. While I was there, people did gather around the pool but none dared swim. Most people, just like me, were unsure of the quality of the water. and, finally, a minor point (but major for me) 4) The agency that booked my hotel room, supplied the hotel with a credit card for the hotel cost. This was acknowledged when I arrived at the hotel but they asked me for my credit card for "incidentals". When I came back home, I noticed that, despite the agreement with the agency, the hotel had charged my own card for the room which created some problems for me. It is not a cheap hotel. As I said at the beginning, this hotel should be avoided for the time being. Too many things are wrong at the moment. There are many beautiful and pleasant hotels in Miami.

    Hyatt - Miami

My room was great and I had a wonderful view of the waterway. I watched beautiful yachts passing by. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed my one night stay. Perfect location if you’re going on a cruise. It’s minutes from Miami cruise port. Lots of shops in the area and restaurants if you don’t use the hotel’s restaurant.

Staff was kind and quick with check in and check out. Very nice accommodations.

Room was clean and comfortable. The Grill and Market had everything you needed. Delicious food at the Grill. Beautiful view of Miami from room. I enjoyed the color changing of the buildings. Watching the boats go by on the river was relaxing.to watch. Thank You

    Loud rooms!

Loud! Outside traffic noise so loud you can't sleep. Clearly the hotel know the 01 and all rooms facing street are loud. They out ear plugs and white noise machines in the room. Go elsewhere for good.sleep. The bar is nice and market good. I didn't use anything else because I left.
