Overall we had a nice family vacation at this resort. There were nine of us in total, all adults. The absolute highlight of our stay was the day we arrived. It was our Niece's 27th birthday and the chef at the Jamaican restaurant offered us a family style dinner on the beach and he did not disappoint! His hospitality was top tier. Our food was amazing! It was a very nice start to our vacation and what an awesome celebration of my niece's birthday. Overall score for the Jamaican restaurant = 10 Honorable mentions. Pool area. Score 8. Nice and clean with good views of the beach. Our Jr suite oceanfront king room scored 8. Bed was okay but the shower was awesome. Nice balcony too with awesome oceanfront views. Our housekeeper did an amazing job ! Food. Overall score 8. The buffet dining room really needs better ventilation. It was very uncomfortable dining inside without adequate air when the temps outside were above 85. Seating outside was always taken when we arrived so we had to endure the humidity inside. Italian restaurant was awesome. Score 9 Night entertainment. Score. 8 We enjoyed the lobby entertainment. Pool entertainment was more for the younger set but entertaining to watch. We did enjoy the water aerobics! That was fun. The lay of the resort is good once you figure things out. The sports bar needs improvement. Karaoke should not be in the same space as guests watching football games on the TV. Hotel staff. Score 7.5 Our check in guy "Akeem", hope I'm spelling his name right, deserves a solid 10. He was the consummate professional and very pleasant. Warning. Do not sign up for the resort tour with the concierge staff if you have no intentions of buying a vacation club membership. They are relentless and will track you down if you miss your scheduled time. Management needs to retrain concierge about how to treat their guests even if you decide not to go on the tour. We chose not to go and when we saw the young lady the next day, she was extremely rude and wouldn't even speak back to us after we said good morning. Overall it was a fun relaxing trip with our family. Final overall score = 8

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful — the property, amenities, and overall cleanliness were top-notch. The rooms were stunning, with the perfect mix of modern comfort and island charm. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and our pool-view room offered breathtaking scenery every morning. The pool area was vibrant, and the poolside bar service and food were excellent — easily one of the highlights of our stay. Customer service was a bit mixed. The lobby staff and several servers went above and beyond and made us feel very welcome. However, there were moments where the hospitality felt forced, lacking genuine warmth. A few bartenders and buffet servers were noticeably rude and often didn’t engage with guests at all, which was disappointing given the otherwise high standards of the resort. The entertainment team was energetic, but unfortunately more focused on showcasing themselves than involving guests. Even more concerning, a few of the male entertainment staff made sexually inappropriate comments and gestures toward female tourists, leaving several guests visibly uncomfortable. Additionally, remarks made during activities — such as jokes about “white people not having rhythm” or “trying to look Jamaican with their tans” — were offensive and unprofessional. Overall, the resort is stunning and well-maintained, with amazing food, comfortable rooms, and great amenities. However, the unprofessional behavior and lack of genuine engagement from some staff members made it difficult to fully enjoy what could have been an incredible experience. This could absolutely be a 5 star resort if the customer service was more professional, kind, and genuine. Jovan at the barber needs a serious talking to about his attitude! Rohan was incredible!

Like family
This was our third time at this resort, and once again it exceeded every expectation! Our ambassador, Asani, went above and beyond to make sure we felt completely at home throughout our stay. Ann Marie is absolutely wonderful—she always made us feel like we were her top priority, even though she was looking after many guests. The Prestige Beach Bar staff is truly the best! Most of them remembered us from our previous visits and welcomed us back with open arms. Special thanks to Leroy, Chad, Rohan, Kacia, Syrene, and Stacey (and I know I’m forgetting a few others!). Stacey’s treats were out of this world—her BBQ chicken was chef’s kiss! You also have to try the jerk hut, my guy ate there everyday! Every single member of the team made sure our stay was as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. There really are no bad days in Jamaica—except the day you have to leave. The Prestige staff has truly become like family to us, and we’re already counting down the days until we return next September!
