It was a great trip. All staff were amazing. It started with a great smile from our concierge Janell then to our rooms we were treated with first class. The entertainment team kept your week going with flair. Thank you Sparkle for your motivation to shake that body! Your team MickeyMouse, KK, little shorty, and Kevin hart. DJ’s were on point in the sports bar. Wow to Zues! He made it fun to participate in the aqua fitness! A great place to relax and have fun. Also a thank you to Romar in the Japanese restaurant it was a great dinner with laughs and a little blushing too! Ya Mann Jamaica. I will 😢

Our concierge Janell was very friendly and very helpful. She made our trip special.. The Entertainment crew was also very good and very friendly. The food was very good. The beach was beautiful. The Waves said of this hotel is in need of renovations.

Janell is the best concierge! She was very friendly and made us feel at home. We will miss her and her lovely spirit. The Waves side of Rose Hall Iberostar needs renovations as quite a few things were broken like the elevators and the power going out, but otherwise we love Jamaica for its people!

Fun times at Iberostar Waves
Everything from the check in to check out was quick and pleasant. All workers were very pleasant. Wayne with chain was always fun and cordial. Rooms were always cleaned in a timely fashion. Pool bar was a little slow at times. But that is to be expected as there was a lot of guests wanting drinks. Asked for a few extra Red Stripes in the bedroom fridge and always received them. Room with a King bed was very comfy. Our tropical view was awesome. Even had lots of ocean view. Highly recommend

Here’s my review of Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach Pros: •Beautiful location - views were spectacular •Good selection of restaurants on property •Several bars - although drinks were not made consistently •Room service daily - loved having fresh towels daily and a stocked fridge •Daily entertainment options •Great snorkeling right off of the beach •Lobby smelled fabulous always •Employees were always friendly and accommodating •Buffet was good everyday and staff were always on top of everything whether it was picking up used plates or getting drinks. 10/10! •The ice cream shop was adorable and a nice spot to just hang out with family at night •The theater had the Lion King on one night which was nice for families •The sports bar was cool and had karaoke one night Cons: •Several boats on the beach daily - constantly wanting you to purchase souvenirs •Pool closed from 7pm-8am every single day for “cleaning” although we only saw them treat the pool Wednesday night. The pool was closed at 7pm on a Friday night which is insane in my opinion. I had asked an employee if the pool was in fact closed after seeing the signs and they suggested I go to the beach at night to swim. Pool was still closed at almost 9am one day of our trip. •The mildew/mold in the bathroom was not pleasant. I was constantly feeling ill/congested from just being in my room. •Overall the rooms were outdated and need some updating. •This was a kid friendly resort and at one point in time at the pool there was a woman completely topless. Several staff members walked by and did absolutely nothing. I’m not sure on the nudity laws in Jamaica but I do know this was not a nude resort. I just feel as if it is disrespectful to the families that had children there to be nude front row at the pool. Overall my experience was good. My favorite restaurant was the Samurai. Second best is the Buffet and third is Uncle Tony’s. I feel like there were plenty of options of food on the resort itself. Dutchie’s was pretty good. My favorite food was the jerk chicken at Dutchie’s- the flavor was to die for! My least favorite was Olivetti just due to the fact the main course felt like it was microwaved garbage. I did enjoy the buffet option at Olivetti though. Would I stay at this place again? Probably not. Due to the fact that there was mold on the ceiling and shower. Also due to the fact we couldn’t use the pool whenever we wanted to. The “Pool Closed” signs were posted at the same time every night. I think this resort could be something spectacular if it was updated. I would say check out other resorts before settling on this one.
