Beautiful resort hotel in Cancun
A beautiful and well maintained beach. There are plenty of pool areas and outdoor dining. The staff can't do enough to help you. Food was amazing, rooms are spacious. The hotel is big but not overwhelming. We had an issue with our room and this was addressed with zero fuss.

A little disappointed
It says jacuzzi on the website but it is definitely not hot. I’m a little weirded out by the window in the shower especially because I was in a family room. (Also there isn’t a vent in the bathroom). But everything other than that was pretty nice, especially the view from my room!

Terrible customer service
Customer service is dreadful. Have been trying to get a copy of my receipt for 5 months now, each time i am told someone will email it to me but no one does. On my previous review the manager responded with her personal email to contact her and she will help me out. Again lied - 3 weeks have gone by and no receipt received. They have double charged me, and refuse to send the receipt to acknowledge the charges. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Poor response
Guillermo and Josue are The best. I’ve never experienced service like this they helped me with any and everything gave me advice on where to go and have fun since I am a solo traveler. Their energy was so great and fun they put a smile on. My face each time I interacted with them. Those two gentle men are an absolute asset to your resort they truly care about the guest.

Disappointed and not the same as before
Every year I visit Intercontinental and this visit was different. When we arrived check in lasted 1.5 hours and would’ve been longer had I not gotten up to inquire why my room was taking so long, it was also way past 3p and check in time and our rooms still were not ready. The grounds seem a bit worn and the food was not good. We went out to find food often because the restaurants with exception of Le Cap were not good. Staff also was not as attentive as in the past. There was so much algae on the beach and have never seen it this way in previous times. It grossed me out to get in the water. The hotel and grounds reeked in raw sewage smell where my parent's room was asked to run water for an hour and came out brown and black and smelled like sewage. I will not return here and sad because this was our usual spot. The hotel went from a 4 star to a very low 3 in my eyes.”L
