Dec 21, 2024Excellent resort, can't wait to return!
This is one of the best luxury beach resort that I have been to. The room is spacious with balcony to a clear ocean view. Every morning my favorite moment is to get the hot chocolate from the free coffee station (which starts at 7am), and sipping the drink at the balcony while enjoying the wonderful view. We were here 4 nights and before the trip we were debating whether to rent a car. We decided not to and it was a good decision. (The hotel also has an on-site car rental, so it's easy to rent for a day if needed). We just spent the entire time at the beautiful resort ground, and my 4 year old enjoyed the pool and the beach tremendously. The food at the hotel is good with generous portion size. I thought the price is pretty reasonable for a resort. The service at this hotel is excellent, from front desk to housekeeping to restaurant experience. This is definitely a place we will return to!

Kimpton Seafire Resort: An Unparalleled Five-Star Experience:
The Kimpton Seafire Resort is the gold standard for what a five-star resort should be. The service is first-rate throughout the resort, and the property is impeccably maintained. The resort constantly delights with thoughtful touches like a personal tour of the property on arrival, welcome snacks delivered to the room or refreshing treats—ices and frozen grapes—at the pool or beach. Dining is world-class, from the expansive breakfast buffet to exceptional options like Ave, where fish dishes such as salmon, halibut, and tuna were perfectly prepared, and Coccoloba, a lively beachfront Mexican spot with weekend live music. Even poolside dining impresses, offering healthy options like the super salad and wraps. Finding a lounge chair at the beach or pool was effortless, adding to the relaxing experience. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a beachfront vacation and exceptional service.

The secret sauce is the staff!
We are here celebrating a birthday. This iis our 4th or 5th trip, mostly staying here or The RC. We are 50's, no kids in tow, looking for quiet and relaxation. STAFF- unbelievable. Alicia was our concierge, upgraded the room to an oceanfront suite, remembered my milestone bday and made it very special, from start to finish. The pool staff and spa staff work very diligently to pay attention to detail. We chose not to drink his holiday and they remembered this throughout, offering alternatives and options. The resort amenities were excellent, I did yoga or pilates daily. Housekeeping was careful, rooms stayed clean and staff remembered our name. For the price point, you expect this but it was warm and friendly and not intrusive. SPA- definitely a highlight. KELSEY was my therapist and I am here to tell you she is strong and skilled. I had a massage and coffee scrub and was zoned out for the afternoon. My husband had a facial and said it was excellent. The spa facilities itself are worth extra time, I enjoyed the sauna, products and warm pool very much. Also those coconut and currant cookies in the spa only! Where have they been all my life?! How do I buy them? We also had a cabana throughout- worth it for the comfort. Food was good but not spectacular. Breakfast was very good daily, full omelet station, fruit, pastries etc. The yogurt station excellent as well. Cocoloba and in room dining were fresh, as was Avecita. Just a little bland for me. Would have like more local options on the menu to try. The Pantry was convenient for sweets and in room, coffee or tea was supplied. The morning complimentary coffee or tea also had a full array of hot chocolate options so I experimented with mocha and flavors. I understand the food has to cater to all palates...maybe one or two adventure options? Grounds impeccable. Good bug control, spray and sunblock provided. Only suggestion is to have a quiet or adults only/kids only pool. There were lots of kids yelling...as kids do. Just would have liked a calmer option. GCM is pricey and the CI is strong right now. But Calypso grill is worth every penny. Bonny Moon was a nice casual option as well. Highlights: hotel oceanfront Suite, cabana and staff (Alicia the concierge and spa staff- esp Kelsey, poolside Nick and Elton were very sweet and attentive, and took some teasing well) and grounds. Opportunities- quiet areas and food options. Will go back in a heartbeat and will definitely get a cabana!

Very Nice hotel and professional staff
To general manager Ms Paloma and the resort manager Mr Edwardo. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to three of your amazing staff.. Firstly to lovely Ruth my Turndown attendant who take excellent care of me... Her genuine smile and service was spectacular, she is very knowledgeable and professional, Secondly to cavene her personality and service brighten the atmosphere. Also Seon the house man, who was very attentive with my request by bringing the coffee maker and kettle to make my tea.. These employees have extremely outstanding customer service qualities. They goes above and beyond to assist me. Excellent Job kimpton Sea fire resort Grand Cayman islands.. your rating is 10 out of 10 .. Service at its absolute best!
First class resort from check in to check out. We have never seen service at this level at any of the many resorts we have visited! Very well kept, rooms are fantastic and very clean. Absolutely impeccable pool and beach areas, with service flags that are quickly responded to. Most resorts we visit have issues with people snagging pool chairs early in the morning, then leaving for hours. This is not the case here, as they have many very well trained staff members on hand working with the guests. This is a family friendly resort, with lots of activities for everyone. Unfortunately, we had a couple of families with fairly loud kids that weren’t kept in check, but that’s not on the resort, more of a parenting issue. My point is this is not an adults only resort, though they do have a smaller pool area next to the main pool which is adults only, and well enforced! Housekeeping and room service was also the best we have ever seen, by far! Tons of options for food, on and off site. My wife and I agree this is the place to go if you want to be pampered. A beautiful resort, across the board, however their amazing staff made the difference for us. We will be back, for sure!
