Once and done
Found a roach on my bed. It explains why you get a Raid next to the safe box. The operator Karina, Daniela in the Lobby, Daniel the concierge and Roberto Vallejo were all more focused on minimizing the incident, blaming the tropical weather and exotic location, than providing solutions. The food below average. Not even the specialty restaurants are worth it. Nothing special on the buffets either. On the beach they only serve drinks. You have to walk to the restaurant for snacks and can't take them out.

Not recommended
Old hotel; downgraded our room without telling us, after we noticed it we were changed and compensated with spa time ; very crowded beaches; loud music and drone usage on the beach; unremarkable restaurants for dinner. Excellent breakfast. Extraordinary staff.

A Very Beautiful Place, Very Well Maintained
We loved the ocean and the swimming. We also loved the food and the cleanliness of the facilities. The only place we stayed away from was the pool because the music was so loud, which of course many people like. We prefer to enjoy the surroundings without the constant need for a soundtrack. The Wifi in the room was great but not in the Mexican restaurant, which I tried to work at a few days during the afternoon when it had emptied out. Few complaints; we had a wonderful stay.

A Beautiful Community
We’ve just arrived home from our 4th trip to Las Brisas over the last few years. This remains the first vacation destination that we’ve travelled back to and we are looking forward to our next trip. Typically, we prefer to stay in a self-catered condo, but Las Brisas offers an experience that is difficult to replicate. Each trip has become richer as we have developed relationships with their wonderful team of staff. From the delightful team at the beachside breakfast restaurant, to the attentive beach servers during the day, and the cleaning staff that always do a remarkable job – the whole team is fantastic. There is one member, however, who has become the key reason we come back repeatedly: Paco, the tennis coach. His group and private lessons have improved our skills immensely over each successive visit, and he has also accomplished something impressive and quite special: he has created an opportunity for us to develop relationships with local tennis and pickleball players. His management of the courts and kind introductions set us up to meet and play with local residents from the onsite club. This is a really unique feature as oftentimes we avoid all-inclusive resorts as they feel cut off from the environment in which they’re situated. Now we look forward to not only seeing the staff and meeting other guests, but we have a forum to see familiar faces on the courts. This is truly a special place made much more so by their local tennis club and pickleball community.

Decent but not our favorite resort.
Pros: Shower, Bed, A/C, coffee, stocked fridge, view, service (mostly), entertainment, and we could always get a lounge chair by the pool. Con’s: one restaurant is terrible. Lots of hills to climb. Older resort. Kitchenette had nothing but coffee and fridge. Paraíso agent spoke zero English. Friendliness was lacking at times with staff.
